Mission: Super Dad
Every year on Father's Day, the schools around the city of Paris celebrate with fun activities. Picnics, parties, days out; but where the Agreste siblings attend kindergarten it's a little different, because their school made it more important, they made it a mission to become Super Dad.
"Papa, come on! Get up! Papa! Papa! Pa—" Before Louis knew what was happening, Adrien had grabbed him in a headlock and pulled him onto the bed, flinging the cover over both of them and 'falling' back to sleep on his son's shoulder. Letting out an array of snores, Louis burst out laughing and began to fight back.
"Papa, stop it! Please."
"I'm sleeping," a hoarse voice said, squeezing Louis a little more.
"Papaaaaa!"
Louis began to kick his legs out, one flying in the direction of the other person in the bed and connecting sharply with Marinette's back. "Louis!" she growled, awkwardly rolling to face them with a stomach the size of a beach ball.
"Sorry, Maman. I'm just too excited."
Before Adrien or Marinette could respond, Emma came bouncing in her hands full of drawings, throwing them on the bed before clambering on herself.
"Happy Farter's Day, Papa!"
Unable to hide the snort, Marinette moved over to let their daughter snuggle in under the duvet too. Marinette smiled at Adrien, choosing to ignore the questioning look he was currently giving her.
"You told her to say that on purpose, didn't you?"
"I don't know what you're implying," Marinette laughed, leaning over to press a quick kiss to Adrien's lips.
"That's from the little bean."
Louis stretched up next, kissing Adrien on one cheek, quickly followed by Emma kissing him on the other. Adrien pulled them all in for a hug, placing one hand over Marinette's swollen belly and taking a moment to absorb it all in. This was his family and he adored each and every one of them.

The Agreste's made their way towards the twins' kindergarten, Adrien a little sheepish in his approach after the last time he'd been here. Not only was he reliving the embarrassing moment of pretty much hinting their mother was dead, but also for the fact their teacher thought he was shamelessly flirting with her.
"Marinette, listen, I'm not feeling too great. I think I should head home."
Giggling in response, Marinette rubbed her belly and took Adrien's hand in her other.
"Does this have anything to do with the beautiful Miss Lytchett?"
Adrien groaned and attempted to cover his eyes, Marinette grasping tighter to stop him from hiding the pretty pink taking over his cheeks.
"I think I scarred the poor woman for life! If Kagami hadn't been there I'm a little worried what she would have done?"
Marinette chuckled again. "I'm here with you this time, it's going to be fine."
"Maman, Papa! Quick!" Louis shouted for his parents to follow him, leading them through the hallways and into the back playground.
Stalls were positioned everywhere. André and his ice cream stand, a ferris wheel, sponge the teacher, a stage with a couple of children dancing on it and many fun games and activities to take part in.
"Can we go on the ferris wheel?" Louis shouted, Emma knocking him out the way to make sure her opinion was heard too.
"I want to go to the coconut shy!"
"Ferris wheel!" Louis shouted back in his sister's face.
"Coconuts!" Emma yelled back, the two Agreste twins on the verge of a domestic in the middle of the playground.
"I know. Me and Adrien will take Emma to the coconut shy, and Marinette and Louis can follow Kagami and Bella to the Ferris Wheel!"
"Uncle Luka!" The twins cheered in response, running over and jumping on him.
"Hey, Luk!" Marinette waved, Adrien marching over to give his friend a hearty slap on the back.
"Here." Luka threw something in Marinette's direction, causing her to squeal like an over enthusiastic toddler. Adrien looked towards her, noticing Luka had given her a paper fan.
"Kagami thought you might be needing this!"
"I knew I loved that girl! Louis, come on, let's go and find them." Pulling Louis in the direction of the Ferris wheel, Adrien couldn't help the guffaw leaving his mouth.
"You're mean, you know that!" Luka responded.
"What?" Adrien said, amusement in his voice.
"She's pregnant!"
"I know, but it's the fact that she turns around and looks normal, but has that cute little waddle. For some reason, I find it amusing."
Luka shook his head and looked at Emma. "What are we doing first then, Em?"
"Coconuts!" she cheered, punching both arms into the air.
She began to run in the direction, darting between passers-by in her need to get to her location.
"What's so exciting about the coconuts?" Adrien laughed, only to slow down as he approached.
Standing at the stall, running it, was none other than Miss Lytchett.
"Miss Lytchett! Miss Lytchett!" Emma called her favourite teacher. "My papa's here! He's going to win me a coconut, and super dad of the day."
Luka snorted beside him, Adrien turning to look at his friend. It's a good job he was wearing sunglasses or he was quite sure he would have burned through Luka with a cataclysmic glare.
"M. Agreste," Miss Lytchett said, patting her hair down and her skirt. "It's good to see you again."
Adrien cringed a smile as he nodded a greeting. "You too, Miss Lytchett."
"Please, just Melissa."
"Okay, just Melissa."
She giggled girlishly, Luka smacking Adrien around the back of the head.
"Stop it!" he hissed to his friend, Adrien shrugging it off in response.
"So, Emma, is your father going to win you a coconut?"
"Of course," Emma answered. "My papa's a superhero!"
Before Adrien could scold Emma for talking so carelessly, Rhys Riley, Adrien's arch nemesis stepped up beside him. Adrien never liked Rhys, and as he was now engaged to Chloé Bourgeois, he liked him even less.
Rhys had recently been cast as Chat Noir in 'The New Adventures of Chat Noir and Ladybug' a movie franchise set to take the world by storm, and a part Adrien had to turn down because Marinette was worried it would out them.
Adrien had told her not to worry, that he'd tone his Chatness down a little and that even though their hero abilities had influenced their civilian life, he wouldn't punch anything too hard.
He'd lost the argument spectacularly, along with his nighttime privileges for a month.
Ever since then, Rhys had always seen it as himself being chosen over Adrien.
"Your father? A superhero? You wish, little lass. I think you'll find I'm the super hero around here."
Adrien turned his head to look at Luka, only for the musician to roll his eyes and turn back.
"Rhys, good to see you again." Adrien offered out a hand only for it to be completely ignored.
"Of course it is," he responded, giving his muscles a flex and winking at Melissa. She flustered before turning away and grabbing a coconut.
"So," she said, "coconuts? Anyone?"
Adrien reached into the pocket of his shorts and pulled out a couple of euros.
"Sure. Anything for the kids!" he said, handing them over.
"Count me in too." Rhys pulled out a stash of notes and handed a couple to the young teacher. A slight giggle left her lips as they brushed hands.
Luka placed a hand on Adrien's shoulder and turned him around. "Are you sure about this?"
"I'll go easy on him," Adrien said, pushing his sunglasses up into his hair.
"Good luck, papa!" Emma said, pulling his hand to bring him down to her level and placing a kiss on his cheek. "I know you're going to win, Super Dad."
The reassurance of his daughter boosted his confidence ten fold, Adrien standing tall and proud. He was the real Chat Noir and he was positive he was going to beat this imposter.
Rhys had taken off his shirt, slinging it to his step-son, Finely, and leaving him in a John McLean white vest.
"Poser!" Adrien huffed, stepping forward and taking the coconuts from Melissa.
"One turn each. Three coconuts and whoever knocks the most down wins." Rhys pulled his arm back and sent the first sailing straight into one of the ten coconuts, slamming them together and knocking it straight down onto the ground.
Cupping his hands together he shook them either side of his head, celebrating his victory like he'd just won the FA cup.
"You see," Rhys said, "to be a superhero and win in combat, you have to train." He began to do some weird karate chops as Adrien furrowed his eyebrows. What the hell was this guy on?
"You need power, precision and muscles." Once again, Rhys struck some poses, causing a couple of the women walking past to almost collide. "I'm not sure that's needed for modelling."
The dig at his profession made Adrien want to throw the coconut at him instead. A Swift, quick through straight into the coconuts. Adrien turned and focused, launching the coconut effortlessly into another, taking it off the stand and onto the floor.
Adrien turned to Rhys and smiled. "Beginners' luck, I suppose."
He moved out the way offering the stand to Rhys. A glare was thrown Adrien's way as the actor stepped forward and took the next coconut. He began to aim, leaning forward and closing one eye. His tongue sticking out the side of his mouth.
"So, I was wondering," Adrien suddenly interrupted. "How is it playing the world's most handsome man?"
Rhys stood up abruptly. "I don't know about that—"
"Oh right," Adrien clicked his fingers. "Chat Noir was number two on the list. Who was number one again?"
Rhys' jaw clenched, his nose flaring and Adrien couldn't help but bask in the glory of this attack.
"I can't remember," he said through gritted teeth.
"Oh yes, I remember now. I won that one, didn't I?" Adrien laughed. "How could I forget?"
"Models always seem to beat actors," Rhys retorted, the comment only encouraging him more.
"Were you on that list again?"
Rhys' eye twitched in response. "Yes."
"Oh cool! Let me guess, number 3?"
Rhys sighed and crossed his arms. "I know what you're trying to do, Agreste, and it's going to fail. You know why? Because I have more skill in my little finger than you possess in your entire body. You know why they didn't fight for you to take the Chat Noir part? Because they knew you couldn't reach his standard of coolness."
Without looking, Rhys launched his next coconut taking another effortlessly from a pole.
"I'm not trying to do anything," Adrien said, throwing his own into the air and swatting it like a volleyball. It swooped down, taking another one from its position.
Calls and cheers sounded around the area as people began to gather around.
Adrien felt a buzz in his pocket. Reaching in, he pulled out his phone and read his wife's name. Oh, damn!
"Hey Cupcake."
'Don't 'Hey Cupcake me!' What the hell do you think you're doing?'
Turning to the Ferris wheel, he could see his very angry, very pregnant wife glaring through the bars of the highest coach.
"Emma wanted to go on the coconut shy!"
'There's a crowd, and Luka's looking mighty uncomfortable! You best not give him an anxiety attack again!'
"I've got it under control, M'Lady!" Adrien turned back just in time for Rhys to perfectly knock off not one, not two but three coconuts in tandem, the crowd erupting with chants of his name.
"Listen, Marinette, I've got to go. Love you." Quickly ending the call, he could hear her shouting him over the crowds. He was going to be doing some serious grovelling that evening.
"Papa! He knocked off three! How are you going to beat that?" Emma's small voice kicked him into hero mode. He was going to do this for Emma and there was only one way to defeat Rhys... he needed a little help from his friend.
Looking into his shirt pocket, Plagg gave him a knowing nod and a wink. Game on!
His name sounded again from Marinette shouting, but he was on a mission. Mission: Superdad.
"Good luck, pretty boy. You're going to need it." Adrien watched as Rhys walked over to a couple of the upper class pricks Chloé hung around with, grabbed a beer and clinked it with the others. There was no way he was losing this. Rhys was about to wish he never messed with Adrien 'supermodel, superhero and superdad' Agreste.
Grabbing his final coconut, Adrien held it into his chest allowing Plagg to work his magic. As he wound his arm back ready to throw, a hesitant touch to his upper arm brought it back down.
"Are you sure about this?" Luka looked nervous, his eyes darting side to side in a fear Adrien didn't know.
"Trust me, okay?"
Luka looked from the coconut to the laughing men, then to Marinette who looked rabid trying to break her way out of the carriage.
"Good luck," he said. Grabbing his goddaughter by the hand and moving her backwards, away from the shy.
Adrien refocused his energy. Pulled his arm back and tossed the coconut with all of his strength. It hit the coconut right in the middle causing it to wobble uncertainty on the pole... without falling.
One second...
Two seconds...
Three seconds...
The men around Rhys started toasting him, declaring him as today's 'super dad' and Adrien a 'super loser'.
Four seconds...
Five...
Suddenly the coconut began to shake and rattle on the pole, exploding into hundreds of pieces and knocking down the remaining 9, declaring Adrien the worthy winner. He grabbed Emma and launched her onto his shoulder, the small girl punching her hands in the air and cheering at the top of her lungs.
As Rhys smashed his bottle to the ground, the rest of the crowd cheered and chanted Adrien's name.
"Papa, that was so cool! You really are a super dad!" Louis ran over with Bella on his tail, looping his arms around Adrien's waist and pulling him into a hug. Adrien looked up to see Marinette waddling quite a distance behind, a fiery look taking over her face.
"M. Agreste?" Suddenly, Melissa was beside him once again. "We would be honoured if you accepted the title of the Kindergarten's 'Super Dad'." She handed him a certificate and a coconut before asking another member of staff to take a photograph.
Adrien smiled away, grabbing hold of Emma and Louis to join him, presenting his certificate like it was a lottery win.
"Adrien?"
Turning around he came face to face with Marinette. As he opened his mouth to start his apology, she grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him down to meet him in a hot, passionate kiss.
"My goodness, Adrien," she said breathlessly, as she pulled back from their kiss. "I love it when you blow things up for me. That was so... hot!" She lowered her voice, causing Adrien to giggle like a schoolgirl.
"Really?"
Wiggling his eyebrows he moved down to kiss her again, absorbing her taste with his lips and feeling like the greatest man in the world.
Who would have thought you get that much pride from knocking down a few coconuts?
