20.You're Mine
As Loki worked on saving his fiancée's life, Frigga transported them to her rooms. Being assured that Loki would stay with Sigyn, Frigga left to find Sif and band together a troop of female warriors.
Loki, however impatient, slowly brought Sigyn back to consciousness. Still, she woke up with a start, taking a long gasp of air.
"Hey there, love." Loki smoothed a hand down her back. "You're okay. You'll be fine, I swear it!"
Sigyn realized her future husband sitting next to her and instantly went for a kiss, as did he.
"Never. EVER. Do that again!" Loki begged between kisses.
"Never LEAVE me again! You're mine and mine alone!" She cried in his neck.
"As you are mine." Loki breathed as he pressed a kiss to her hairline.
The moment passed and they got back to the situation at hand.
"Where's the Queen?"
"Mother went to look for Sif. Come, we must..."
"No! We're not soldiers, we're sorcerers. We need to find a way to bind Lorelei's powers."
Loki smirked at her. "Beautiful and smart..!"
Sigyn pecked a quick kiss as she conjured something in her hands.
"Your mother made these." She stepped back to reveal the earplugs. "Can you make enough for your soldiers?"
"I can try. What will you do?"
"Can you get me to the library? There must be a spell somewhere to contain such power."
"Sure. I don't suppose you can teleport with your injury still new..." Loki looked mournfully at it, blaming himself.
Sigyn softly put a hand on his cheek and directed his attention to her eyes.
"It was never your fault, love. I did it to myself, and you saved me. Let's put it behind us,"
Loki smiled through tears and kissed her. Being in Frigga's rooms, the two borrowed her cloaks and discreetly made their way to the library where Loki showed her the section containing books and scrolls about magic.
"Oh thank you dear, now off you to your work." She blew him off and began to climb the ladder to a higher shelf. Loki didn't move an inch, smiling to himself. Sigyn rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Well, what is it?" She asked, annoyed by his refusal to do anything.
Loki chuckled at her tone and stepped forward, placing his hands on her hips as her abdomen was eye level from where she stood.
"Loki..." Sigyn began, realizing his intention as heat crawled up to her ears.
Her protest landed on deaf ears and he continued to move forward, stopping only when his lips had pressed against her exposed stomach, her dress ripped when he was healing her.
"Our wedding can't come soon enough." He deeply whispered, making her eyes roll for completely different reasons.
"There can't be a wedding if there's no one left! Now hurry, save your soldiers." Sigyn forced her mind clear and pushed his head away.
Loki struggled to leave her, but eventually managed to. As he made his way to his troops, he conjured the earplugs Sigyn had shown him. One by one his clones dispersed, finding his troop. Popping behind each unsuspecting soldier, he plugged their ears and informed them to gather in his castle for further information.
Meanwhile, Sigyn searched through scroll and parchment looking for the spell she needed. It wasn't soon enough when she found it, but she did. The recipe required an artifact to hold the spell in place, but alone in a library she was out of luck. As she popped her head out of the library door in an attempt to run back to her rooms, fate would have a slave happening by just then. Catching the girl's attention, the Queen of Alynia pulled the girl into the library and took off the girl's necklace. It freed the poor thing of her bondage and allowed Sigyn an artifact for her spell.
Back in his castle, Loki had managed quite the little army and was instructing them on what to do. The trick for this or any plan to work was to convince Lorelei that she still controlled these men. In the middle of his conclusion, Frigga popped in, leading Sif and Sigyn behind.
"I believe we have our weapon..." the Queen motioned to Sigyn, "now what's our plan of attack?"
The goddess of war supplied a plan, which Loki mixed with his trickery, and they were ready to go.
Sometime later, it was evening and Lorelei was unsuspectingly enjoyed her tea when she heard fighting from behind the throne room doors. The pauper queen rolled her eyes and sighed, frightening her servants.
"What now?! Can't they just accept it and move on?!" Lorelei had only taken 10 steps past the throne when the door burst in, revealing to her shock, a troop of Valkyrie.
"Surrender now, sorcerer. Or face the wrath of the Valkyrie!" Sif threatened.
Lorelei stumbled back in fear.
"Y...you you're not real! You CAN'T be!" The false Queen whimpered as she scooted back further.
"Well of course they can't." They all turned to Loki walking in from his entryway. "The Valkyrie no longer exist. It's only a mirage."
He proved his point by lifting the spell, revealing only the three women in his life as the others vanished. Just as the spell was lift, Loki's troop came upon them and entrapped them behind their swords.
Lorelei came to her feet and laughed it off, wrapping her arms around her King.
"What would I do without you, my king?" Lorelei voiced haughtily in his mouth and kissed him in front of her audience.
Loki smiled in her kiss and conjured the necklace in his hand. "A gift, for my Queen." He brought her attention to it as he put it on her neck.
"Oh, aren't your gifts always so ch..." Lorelei soon found herself unable to voice her sentence, to the amusement of her audience.
"You were saying?" Sigyn taunted as the soldiers let her go.
"Seeing as I am still pro temporo king," Loki pulled her to him, this time by the handcuffs binding her hands together, "the dungeons would do you well!" And with that he pushed her from the steps at the feet of the waiting guards.
"I'll drink to that!" A voice they hadn't expected, Odin's, came as the the king, the prince and the keeper entered the throne room.
"Father!" Loki gasped as everyone took a knee.
"Have her thrown where no one may see or hear of her!" Thor bellowed as the guards were finally taking Lorelei away.
"I have had full faith in my family. You have made me very proud today Loki, my son."
Although Loki cherished any praise from his father, he couldn't deny the real hero her due glory.
"As grateful as I am for your praise, father, I believe it is Queen Sigyn who's the real savior of Asgard."
Frigga and Odin both stood doubly proud of their son's decision as Sigyn blushed in her corner. The husband and wife nodded to each other in consent and Odin announced their decision.
"Ahem. I believe after all this havoc, Asgard is in desperate need for a celebration."
Loki and Sigyn instantly snapped their attention to each other, impatiently waiting for Odin's announcement.
"I would think a wedding would suffice perhaps, your highness?" Odin referred to his own wife.
No sooner had the words left his lips that Sigyn and Loki ran to each other, him picking her up as soon as she hugged him, kissing hard as he spun her around.
Meanwhile, Thor stood where he had, flabbergasted.
"Will no one tell me who is this Sigyn we speak off?"
Only Heimdall listened to his friend's anguish and patted him on his shoulder.
"It matters not. Come, we have a wedding to prepare."
