19.Trust My Rage

After Sigyn impaled herself on the steak knife, the male servant stepped further into the anti magic cell to retrieve the knife, instantly freeing his mind from Lorelei's spell.

Bard, the servant, went ghostly white, disoriented by the removal of the spell, and finding out that he had gravely injured a royal. As soon as he saw Frigga, Bard became a sniveling mess in front of the Queen, begging forgiveness.

"It is of no fault of yours, son. But you must help us now. Go to Loki, and confess to him that you've seen us escaping. Do it now! Before lady Asta passes."

The servant weakly got to his feet and stumbled out the cell, running as fast as he could to Loki. Lucky for him, Lorelei was not glued to him. Loki, on the other hand, was very much disturbed by the servant's clumsy entrance.

"M-my King!" The servant cried, falling on his knees.

"Spit it out, you mewling quim." Loki spat as he sat on his throne, replica image of a elf king.

"The Qu- your mother, escapes her confinement."

Loki sat attentive and proper and sighed, "why must they force my hand?"

Bard stay kneeling on the floor as the prince rushed by, dismissing him. Only this servant and Loki knew the location of the prison, somewhere Lorelei would never have guessed: his castle. As he walked his halls to the prison room, he envisioned the transaction that could probably occur between his women and him, but Loki was utterly unprepared for what lay in front of him.

Loki's heart fell as he saw his fiancée on the floor, bleeding out as his mother could do little to save her. His heart, mind, and soul pushed against Lorelei's spell, pulling him through the anti magic cell. As soon as Loki stepped past his own enchantment, Lorelei's voice wore off and he fell to his knees next to Sigyn.

"No! What have you done, Sigyn?! You cannot leave me, not when I'm to blame." He cried, cradling her face in his hands covered in her blood.

"You can save her still, my love. But we'll need to be out of this cell." Frigga reminded him, "Hurry now."

Loki hurried to obey and lifted the wounded Sigyn in his arms and walked out the cell, immediately feeling his powers return. As soon as he was out, he gently placed Sigyn on the floor, her whines landed on his already heavy heart.

"I am so sorry, love. For everything. But this is going to hurt," He regretfully explained and placed his hands on her bleeding stomach, casting a healing spell so strong it made her scream till she passed out.

The Avengers had their hands full aboard the helicarrier, fighting HYDRA and Loki's mind controlled army, and keeping the ship afloat. Hulk jumped off, Widow knocked out Hawkeye, and Thor busted out Loki, who mustered enough strength and anger to freeze blast the remaining HYDRA agents. The others retreated with Kiera in their possession.

With the engines fixed and the battle apparently won, it was recovery mode time. Engineers ran down to assess the damage caused by Hulk. Nat waited in Clint's room, waiting for him to wake up. Loki cooperated as he was ushered into his new cell, with Thor by him, as a paramedic did the best she could humanly do to evaluate their injuries.

Fury was taken to the med bay to get that bullet out of his arm and Steve, well, Steve went looking for his sister. He made his way down to the prison bay, caught off guard finding agents frozen solid, like he was once upon a time.

"Don't think you'll be waking up from that." He sneered in one's face, but all amusement left him when he saw blood on the floor.

"No!" He breathed and ran fast to the med bay. As he ran through the doors, Sharon, who was nearby, stepped in front of him, knowing there was about to be hell.

"Where is SHE?! Where's my sister?!" Steve yelled as he stormed in, ignoring Sharon.

No one answered and he didn't see her, he only saw him.

"YOU!" Steve snapped, pointing at Fury as he marched to him.

"This is on you!"  He accused as he all but grabbed Fury's collar. "Where's Kiera, WHERE'S my little sister?!"

Behind him, Sharon had her gun pulled, but was motioned by Nick to stand down.

"HYDRA." Fury calmly stated.

"HYDRA?" Steve repeated in his characteristic surprise. "How the hell does hydra get involved in this?"

"Aren't they always involved in crap like this? Especially concerning the tesseract. You know better than anyone." Fury never lost his cool and calmly got off the bench, walking past Steve. "We're getting our systems back up, and we'll get on it. I suggest you get touched up before the real shit gets going."

Fury had the nerve to pat Steve with his good hand as he walked back to control, taking Sharon with. Cap sat fuming restlessly as an unfortunate medic got to patching him up. The idleness quickly got to him and Steve pushed off the bench, storming out the med bay, not acknowledging where he went.

Once he got somewhere with no one in sight, he lost it. Steve punched and kicked anything he could, even though everything was metal. His knuckles eventually bruised and his feet hurt, and he sunk to the ground with a cry.

"I've been where you are," a voice spoke and Steve looked up to see Loki in his new cell. "More often than I care for." He continued, closing his eyes as he reminisced. He opened his eyes again to find Steve still on the ground, but sitting up, glaring at him.

"You have every reason to distrust me with a pencil," Loki acknowledged, "but when it comes to my daughter, trust that there is no limit to what I can and will do to get her back."

Steve hopped up and walked close to the cell. "You step out of line, any loopholes, and you'll never be with her again."

Loki accepted the deal with a signature smirk and Steve let him out. As soon as Loki was released, the intercom buzzed.

"Captain Rogers to the control room," Coulson's voice came.

"I suggest you don't leave my side." Steve warned and Loki conceded, following Steve up.

Cap entered the control room first, followed by Loki, who was greeted with all the weapons in the room on him.

"Stand down, he's with me." Steve ordered, looking to Thor for backup.

Thor nodded, "Eira is his daughter. He can help get her back."

Only an order from Fury made them stand down.

"Incoming video comm." Hill informed and they all turned to the big screen.

The first image that faded into view was the signature red octopus.

"Is that...?" Barton began.

"HYDRA." Fury confirmed.

"Mr. Stark, can you trace?" Coulson asked the technological billionaire.

"Jar?" Tony spoke.

"Running diagnostics, sir."

The hydra symbol dispersed to show a man in a red gas mask.

"Evening, Captain. Avengers."

Steve growled, and Thor and Loki were ready for battle.

"Your hostility is granted. After all, we have your girl. Would you like to say hello?" The man asked with tease as the video switched back to the hydra logo.

"Anything, Tony?" Steve begged.

"Apologies, Captain." JARVIS responded, "it's beyond my capabilities."

"Okay now we really gotta get your girl back," Tony said out loud, offended about being one upped.

"Seriously?" Steve asked, crossing his arms.

"Second agenda, of course. After we save your sister. Blame him," Tony motioned to Fury, "he brought me into the company of spies."

"I don't need more reason to," Steve rolled his eyes before the video came back again, this time revealing a blindfolded Kiera, surrounded by some sort of heat lamps.

"Kiera!" Steve yelled as he stepped closer to the screen.

"S...teve?" Kiera said weakly. "Are you there?"

"I'm here, Care."

"I think... the sun. Kidnapped me. It's. A fucking. Furnace."

Steve smirked just a second before the heat lamps turned off and the clamps around Kiera's wrists and ankles came off. As quick as she could, Kiera took off the blindfold, becoming disoriented for a second. Looking around for her big brother, she found him on the big screen.

"Steve?" Kiera whispered.

"I'm sorry, babe. I'm gonna come get you, I promise. We're gonna bring you home. Know anything that can help?"

"There was uh, um, the," Kiera tried, tired. "The um building with the scales. On the left, behind us. No."

"No? No what, Care?"

Kiera's eyes darted around the room, scared and aware.

"It's a trap! Don't come here Steve! They're gonnaaaAAAH!" Kiera screamed as someone grabbed her from behind, dragging her away.

"Daaa..!" She yelled, kicking her legs out against her captors.

"Don't you touch her!" Loki yelled, unable to do anything.

"You can get her back." The voice came back. "We'll trade her."

"You're never getting the tesseract." Sharon stated.

"We'll trade her, for her father."

"We don't negotiate with terrorists." Fury replied.

The man laughed. "Your words are of no importance to us. It's Captain Rogers who makes the call. It is his girl at stake. You have 12 hours. I hear the sun gets real hot by midday. Hail Hydra."

The video turned off and all eyes went to Steve.

"Rogers...?" Natasha cooed.

"Stark?" Steve asked, ignoring Nat.

"JARVIS?" Tony said.

"Multiple sources, sir. All across the globe, and orbit."

"We don't have that many sources." Fury informed.

"Map definitive locations, Jar."

"Constructing map now." JARVIS announced and a map exhibited on the screen, showing red dots all around the earth, and moon.

"We have an alien invasion to prepare for. We can't even have that many bodies in the ground in time."

"You forget Eira is a royal of Asgard. If you will not search for her, my soldiers will, and they will leave no stone unturned. I do not think you can stand to take a double invasion, director." Thor was sick of losing his princess again and again. "And know this, should you refuse, or get in our way, you will make an enemy of Asgard."

"I think it would help if your brother called off his invasion, don't you?" Coulson stated, crossing his arms.

"The Chitauri are beyond my control. But you will find an ally in me upon Eira's return." Loki responded.

"Do you have a suggestion how we do that, your highness?" Barton asked rhetorically.

Loki smirked. "Oh but I do, indeed."

"As do I." Barton jumped as a Loki popped up behind him.

"And I." Said another.

"Let's not forget me."

"You don't have to trust me," started one.

"But trust my rage."
