⚠️ Disclaimer (january 2020)⚠️
Please spare the comments about other books from different authors, ive had read enough of them and it ruins fun in writing for me. I know sometimes certain characters remind people of other stories but as in my case, i do not read fanfiction i simply write it so there's no chance i got inspiration anywhere else
> It was meant to be nothing but a distraction.
No one told Jungkook how hard it'll be to resist his best friend's charms, not even for his own son's sake.
✨
"I'm 20 years old, let me be 20 for once."
"You stopped being able to act your age when you got me pregnant, Jungkook."
✨
"Daddy! Where are you going?", Taejeon asked, tears welling up in the small boy's big doey eyes.
"I'm sleeping over at my friend's dorm tonight, baby", Jungkook hummed softly and kissed his son's forehead.
"Is it Taehyungie's dorm again?" <

"I gotta be real with you now, gguk. You should break up with her."
"You say that every fucking day", Jungkook rolled his eyes at his best friend and walked faster to get ahead of him. Taehyung was holding a camera in front of his eyes to take some nice shots for his project. Until now he didn't even decide for a topic, all he did was recording everything that caught his eye and took photos of it.
"Turn around", Taehyung suddenly yelled out and Jungkook flinched around, confused as hell. "Why you gotta yell at me?!", he complained but got stopped by the click of the camera. Taehyung's smile got brighter as he took a look at the pic he just made. "Damn", he chuckled proudly.
"Isn't your topic nature and shit like that?", Jungkook asked but put an arm on Taehyung's shoulder to glance over it and get a look on the picture. "I have no topic", Taehyung hummed.
"All you recorded by now were flowers, trees or the landscape. I'm not a tree.."
"Shut up, I'm just taking photos of beautiful things, bro", Taehyung snapped and turned away and started taking photos of the park through which they walked currently.
"Gay", Jungkook laughed and ruffled Taehyung's hair. "Ew, don't use such insults on me-", Taehyung scrunched his nose and kept walking behind Jungkook. "Anyways. Back to the important stuff in life-", Taehyung switched the topic again and grabbed Jungkook by his wrist to turn him around. "You have to break up with Lyza."
Jungkook didn't answer, he only let out a sigh and pushed his hands down in his pockets. Of course Taehyung was right with that, of course it wasn't okay to stay with her if he didn't feel love anymore but it wasn't that easy. There was a little 5-year old boy sitting at home in their small apartment which they rented a few years ago, a little boy named Taejeon who simply needed his parents. Both of them. Jungkook knew how it felt to grow up without a mother. And he didn't want to do the same to his own son.
"ggukie", Taehyung hummed and grabbed his best friend by his waist and pulled him into a soft backhug. "I know, I know. It's Taejeon who keeps you there but you should be a little selfish sometimes. Is it really worth it to stay your whole life with someone who makes you unhappy?"
"She doesn't make me unhappy, Taehyung."
"Well, I didn't see your bunny smile in a while", his best friend argued, teasingly pinching his cheeks. "C'mon~", he hummed close to his ear and cuddled him even more.
"Oh my fucking godness, what exactly do you want Tae? Is there a party you wanna go to or why do I suddenly need to break up with my girl?"
Taehyung stayed quiet and bit his lips to hide a smirk. Jungkook got him. As usually, he just knew what was up.
"Look, I know she's your girlfriend, but the captain from the girl's basketballteam is going to Felix' party on Friday and I really wanna go. Maybe I'll finally get my shot!!", Taehyung practically begged Jungkook to go there.
"She literally told you to fuck off the last time you tried one of your cringey pickup lines on her-", Jungkook sighed. "Jeon Jeongguk. We. agreed. on. never. talking. about. that. again." Tae whined and covered his blushing cheeks.
"I never agreed on any of your stupid agreements", Jungkook hummed and finally broke free from Taehyung's hug.
"You're the worst best friend I ever had", Taehyung pouted and started walking away with crossed arms.
"You never had another one, we've been best friends since kindergarden, dork", Jungkook argued and Taehyung let out an annoyed grumbling sound.
"Anyways, I won't break up with Lyza just for some stupid party. My child is more important, sorry not sorry", Jungkook said. "Ew, you sound like a father."
"I am a father", Kook sighed and facepalmed himself.
"Y'know what? It's your fault if I stay single forever and will move in with you and your girlfriend someday."
"Jesus, you're more of a dramaqueen than Jimin is", Jungkook couldn't hold back a laughter and ruffled Taehyung's blonde locks softly. "I'll talk to Lyza at dinner, maybe she'll let me go", he promised softly and Taehyung smiled satisfied.
"Good boy", he said and softly slapped the younger's ass.
"You're so fucking gay today, oh my god."
───┄ °❀
"Honey, I'm home~", Jungkook sang through the apartment after he entered the front door. He only heard a quiet chuckle from his girlfriend from the kitchen, but before he could even walk there he got literally stormed and overran by something as tall as his leg up until his knee. "DADDY DADDY DADDY", a high-pitched, squeaky and hella annoying voice interrupted the calming silence in this room.
Jungkook got down on his knees, spread his arms and waited for the kid to arrive in his hug.
But Taejeon stumbled over his own feet, crashed down on the floor and started crying loudly.
"This is becoming a daily thing, huh", Jungkook sighed and reached for his baby to grab him and pull him into his arms. "L-leg b-broken!", Taejeon whimpered dramatically and held his perfectly fine leg with the acting skills of a professional.
"Babe", Jungkook called for his girlfriend while he walked into the kitchen where she was preparing dinner. "I can't deal with his shit right now."
Right when Lyza was about to freak out over the bad word he used in front of Taejeon, the kid already got it.
"Shit, shit, shit shit shit yeah SHIT", he began to sing (or more like scream) through the kitchen.
"And that's why you should've used a condom", she only hummed and took the baby in her arms who already forgot about his leg. "Shit shit Daddy shit", Taejeon hummed and tapped his mother's nose happily. "Dont say that Taejeon", she said strictly.
"Why?", he asked, tilting his huge head.
"Daddy only uses bad words, don't say what he says", she reminded her son and ruffled through his dark hair which was all messed up by running through the apartment all afternoon.
Jungkook only rolled his eyes but didn't argue any further, instead he walked over to Lyza, grabbed her by her waist and pressed a quick kiss on her cheek.
"Missed ya", he whispered and made his girl smile.
"Ew parents sex", Taejeon yelled out, he didn't understand what the difference between sex and kissing was yet.
Both his parents looked at him shook and raised their eyebrows. They made sure never to mention the word sex in front of him. "Where did you get that word from?", Lyza asked worriedly.
"Daddy Taehyung", he explained firmly, nodding as a confirmation to his own words.
"He's not your Daddy-", Jungkook murmured. He was tired of Taehyung always teaching his son that he was equally important as Jungkook. "YES he is", Taejeon yelled angrily. "Taehyung best Daddy. You not!"
Jungkook sighed and simply left the kitchen, this kid was too much. Maybe he let him fall too often when he was a newborn. Who knows.
Lyza didn't say anything else, she only shook her head. In her opinion, Taehyung never had been a good influence on her boys, not on Jungkook and neither on Taejeon. But discussing this was useless since Jungkook told her if he had to choose he'd choose his best friend in a heartbeat. So she simply lived with it.
Taejeon who suddenly got deeply focused on trying to reach his nose with his tongue was distracted so she could finish preparing dinner. It was just some rice with vegetables, she wasn't that much of a good cook. She brought the food and the kid over to the dinner table where Jungkook was waiting and put it all down. After Taejeon was placed in his child chair, she sat down as well and let out a sigh.
"Ugh, I can't wait for Friday. Finally one evening off everything", she sighed happily and gave her boyfriend a tired smile. She really was working hard to keep up with college and take care of the kid, she deserved a break once in a while. She really did.
"Thanks for staying home with him so I can go out with Lisa and Jennie", she said sweetly, biting her lip softly.
"Y-yeah about that", Jungkook started.
Lyza's expression dropped immediately and a worried one took place on her face instead. "Another party?", she asked, sounding upset. Jungkook nodded slowly. "Sorry, Tae is really trying to get a shot with this girl from basketball", Jungkook explained, eyes glued to the plate in front of him. He felt so bad for even considering it, it was her first evening off in a while.
"She brushed him off three times already", Lyza sighed.
"I know right!", Jungkook laughed weakly.
"Why does he always need you to be there?", she really didn't seem happy with where this conversation was going, her stare got a little mad while she tried to make her son stop shoving three forks full of food in his small mouth at once. Gosh, where were his braincells?!
"It's the bro-code. I need to make sure he doesn't hook up with ugly bitches."
"BITCHES BITCHES bitches bIIITcheeSS", Taejeon screamed, spiting out all his food all over the table.
"How does he always know which ones the bad words are?", Lyza asked, completely done with Taejeon at this point.
"He's smart", Jungkook said proudly.
"Taejeon smart", Taejeon agreed and winked at his mother.
"There's no way you're going to this party, Jungkook. Set your priorities right, for once", Lyza said harshly before she got up, took a towel and a flannel to clean up Taejeon's mess.
"No way Daddy going party party with BITCHES. no SHIT."
"Taejeon, shut up!" Both parents said at once.
