TITLE FANART ISN'T MINE!

Set after episode 6 of Boba Fett. Grogu chooses the silver armor (And if he doesn't Ima die) and we get to see him reuniting with his dad :)

This will either age wonderfully or horribly. We'll see next week lol.

Grogu looked up at Master Luke, then back down at the items in front of him.

It was either he went back to the Mandalorian...or never see him again.

This should be an easy choice right?

So...why isn't it?

Was it about what Master Luke said? About how "a short amount of time for you will be a lifetime for another."?

What would he do after Mando's inevitable passing?

He pushed all other notions aside and slowly waddled towards the chainmail.

He wanted his dad.

He didn't want to be a Jedi if it meant saying goodbye to his father.

He picked up the gift from his father and looked it over. Memories flooding back. He'd really missed Mando.

Luke smiled. He himself understood what the child was going through. Family was important. Even if the Jedi didn't agree.

"I understand your decision Grogu. I will take you to Ahsoka, and hopefully, you'll see your Mandalorian friend once more."

Grogu cooed happily and held the chainmail close to his chest.

He waddled after Luke as they went to find Ashoka who was waiting outside the door for him. A small smile on her face. Luke nodded and watched as Grogu wandered to Ahsoka. Not regretting the his choice for a second.

Ahsoka picked up Grogu and walked away with him, sending a last look at Luke, Grogu waved goodbye to his former master.

As the two walked, Grogu looked up at Ahsoka. A knowing look was in her eyes. "You really love that Mandalorian, don't you." It was more of a statement then a question but Grogu still cooed in agreement.

The two continued to walk until they reached their destination. She placed Grogu on a rock nearby. Before grabbing her holo and making a call to Din.

This was gonna be good

Din had never been more excited. He got to see his boy again! Finally.

He wasn't exactly sure why, but it seems like Luke must have had a change of heart.

Din exited his ship and saw Ashoka holding Grogu. Who was fast asleep.

Mando smiled under his helmet. Ahsoka looked at him and smiled, before shaking the child in her arms.

"Wake up Grogu, someone's here to see you." She whispered softly, not wanting to startle the foundling.

Grogu's ears perked up and he cooed, adorable, as his big, wide eyes opened and he looked around. He let out a squeal of delight upon seeing his father.

Quite literally jumping out of Ahsoka's arms and, thankfully, Din caught him. Grogu only smiled at his father.

And Din couldn't find it in himself to care anymore, he took off his helmet and placed it gently on the ground. Grogu cooed happily at that. Studying the man's face from top to bottom.

Neither Din nor Grogu had stopped smiling. Grogu especially. And he knew he made the right decision. Maybe one day he'd come back to the Jedi. But his dad was far more important.

They're a clan of two after all.

If Grogu doesn't choose Mando I'll sue Disney (Jk)....(but not rlly "jk" 😃)
