~Hawks POV~

The minute I handed him over to the hospital staff, they whisked him away for surgery.

I sat in a chair, trying to calm Maya down as I called Touya.

"Keigo, aren't you working?" I hear him say, then his tone changes when I sniffle, "What happened?"

"Villain....attacked playground....Kat....surgery....hospital" was all I got out before I broke out in tears and sent him my location.

Not long after, Touya was there alone, having left Utau with his grandmother.

We waited for what felt like hours, Maya falling asleep after a while.

When the doctors finally came out, their faces plainly showed the issue.

"He survived the surgery. There will be a scar on his chest that will likely be permanent" the doctor said.

"Is he ok?" Touya asked, knowing I couldn't trust my voice.

The doctor sighs and says "He's in a coma, and likely will be for a few days"

At that moment, Maya woke up just as the doctor said those words.
