Epilogue.
“life is short and unpredictable, it won't stop nor will it fasten. It will keep on moving flowing us with it's waves.”

"Huda"
In the warmth of Istanbul sun a whisper reached her sleepy ears. The room looked as though it was situated in an angel's Halo. The soft glow bathed the four walls in their beautiful hue of golden.
A sleepy hum and a small nod of her head caught the attention of the figure looming over her. She felt her hair being swept aside from her face.
"You have a meeting in ten minutes. Get your sexy ass out of bed" a loud voice startled her awake, her reflexes kicked in making her launching a punch in the direction of the voice.
"Woah woman. You told me to wake you up, calm down" Aaban yelled dodging a very common morning attack.
"You could've been gentle" she mumbled frowning at the spinning of her head.
"Remind me one time when you've woken up gently" he said walking to the closet.
"Remind me one time when you haven't lied to me about this ten minutes thing. I still have an hour Aaban" she groaned checking the time.
"Get ready. You take an eternity doing just that" he said coming out in a pair of black dress pants, while sipping his coffee.
"Your son kept me up last night. Unlike you I wasn't sleeping my ass off while my child cried in pain" she gritted seeing him shrug nonchalantly.
"Well he is a little assh—"
"Dare you say a thing about my baby" she glared standing up from her place in a defensive position.
"God. You're already replacing me and it hasn't even been year since he's born" Aaban said offended.
"And it hasn't been more than four years to our marriage. Get a grip. This was bound to happen one day or another" she shrugged walking past him taking his coffee with her.
"My replacement? You were planning on replacing me?" He gasped dramatically.
"Aaban"
"Yes?"
"Please shut up. I'm already having a headache" she whispered in a defeated tone.
"Yeah whatever. You gave birth to a headache eight months ago."
"Aaban" she glared at him making him pull his hands up in mock surrender.
She slammed the door at his face sighing, regretting the day she accepted his offer to keep him.
Four years and it was still the same. Them arguing, fighting and then getting back together at the end of the day. Only difference being the birth of their son, Affan.
That little ball of energy made Aaban suffer to the fullest. Avenging him for all the times he had troubled his mother.
He had Huda wrapped around his tiny fingers, since for all she cared about was Affan, making Aaban jealous of all tht jealous the child got.
He sighed as he walked into the nursery. Little gurgling noises came from the crib making him smile as he peeked down into it.
Big brown eyes stared back at him, his fist tucked in his mouth as the chubby little baby giggled at the sight of his father.
"How's my little man?" Aaban said holding Affan up in the air. The baby cackled as his father blew raspberries on his stomach.
"How are you feeling now? You got your mama all worried" he whispered bringing the baby down to his chest, he swayed gently placing the child's head on his shoulder.
"I woke her up early today again." He said making the baby grumble, he pulled back to have a look at the baby's round chubby face. The boy frowned like a grown man.
"Oh come on. I know you inherited that frown from your mother but I woke her up for a good cause." He said defensively making Affan furrow his eyebrows.
"I am taking your mama out on a date after her meeting. We'll stay out for the whole day and you'll stay home with Ayşe aunty." he said bumping his nose with his son's.
The baby frowned at the idea and soon opened his mouth with a loud wail following right after.
Aaban's eyes grew double in size as he tried shushing the baby before his wife murders him but it was too late.
"Aaban!" He heard the sound of her approaching, Affan paused for a minute and then started again as the door was pushed open.
"Oh my baby. Affan. What happened?" Huda cooed as Affan made grabby hands in her direction.
"What happened? Did he throw up again?" She asked worried.
"No. I think he's just allergic to me. I was trying to be friendly here" he complained making the baby eyes him and start crying in his mother's chest even more.
"Don't think like that. Affan loves his baba doesn't he?" She said bouncing the baby in her arms. Affan looked at his father before leaning towards him quietly.
"Now we're at peace I see" - he leaned closer to the baby's ear and whispered - "such an actor you're"
The baby cackled clapping his hands against Aaban's face.
"Okay okay. I take it back." He said grabbing his hands and pretending to bite his tiny hand.
"You both have your moment I'll go get ready." Huda said after a moment of silence from her side. She loved how idiotically perfect Aaban was as a father. He acted all tough and hard against Affan but when it came to Affan and his care he was one to volunteer faster than her.
"You feed him and then make him take his medicines. We need to be strict, it's getting worse" she said sadly gazing at her baby.
Aaban hummed as he picked up the bottle to feed him. The past few days were hard for the two. Affan burned in high fever and kept throwing up any thing that he consumed.
It wasn't getting any better and it worried them both. She walked to her room and started getting ready. Adorning a black jumpsuit with a red statement blazer she looked ready to conquer her quest of a day. Her lips painted a perfect red, hair left loose in short waves.
"I'm ready" she called walking downstairs in her four inch black stilettos.
"Look Affan someone looks ravishing" Aaban said coming in view from tht kitchen holding the baby to his chest.
"I'll be back early today okay. Don't worry aunty Ayşe much" she said taking her heart from her husband's arms.
These four years all they knew about was eachother till baby Affan came into view. Their marriage was disclosed luxuriously with parties, celebrations and much more.
Catching the culprit and almost loosing her life was all the drama Aaban needed before taking action in introducing the lady black falcons to the family.
The mastermind who helped Zuhaib was Hakan. The bullets were meant for Aaban, his motive was to murder him but to his dismay Huda came in between.
She shuddered thinking of what could've happened if the bullets had hit Aaban on his chest. The doctor had given up by tht end of the eleven hour surgery, they had left it all on time and she nearly almost gave in to the curse and it's clutches. She almost accepted her separation from this world but her love was greater than her desire for relief, relief from all tht pain she felt in her limbs. It was greater than all. After all Huda Osmani could do anything for her world even if it meant to fight death even if it took the last fibre in her body to do so.
The two Mafias combined caused a havoc in the underworld, the two conjoined were undefeatable and fearsome. Their union was a blow to the mafia world and a threat to all those who held grudges against them.
Breakfast passed with a series of bickering and cooing. The couple headed out with the little bundle of joy strapped in his baby carrier.
Dropping him off to Ayşe's house they headed to her office, Aaban dropped her off and drive to his job.
Her day passed by in a blur of meetings, it was time for the last one but before she could even get up from her seat the door opened and in came her husband.
"Is everything okay? What are you doing here at this time?" She asked as Aaban yanked her up from her chair and hugged her tightly.
"I just missed you alot." He mumbled against the skin of her neck.
"Aww I missed you too" she smiled tightening her arms around him. He pulled back caressing her cheek. He leaned down taking her lips in an urgent kiss.
Her arms wrapped around his neck pulling herself up against him. Her fingers raked his unruly hair as he fell back on her chair taking her down with himself settling her on his lap.
"Love" she whispered fluttering her eyes open.
"Yes?" He mumbled against her mouth breathing heavily.
"I have a meeting to be at. It was nice meeting you."
"No!" He whined making her roll her eyes.
"You're coming with me. Enough work" he said getting up balancing her on the ground.
"What? No Aaban!" She said trying to understand the urgency this man showed.
"Let's go" he said making her furrow her eyebrows.
"What where?" She asked the man hurriedly gathered her stuff and started dragging her out of her office.
"Aaban what are you doing?" She hissed glaring at him who stayed silent.
"I'm already late for the meeting " she said a little louder. The curious gazes of her employees made her burn red in embarrassment.
"No you're not" was the reply to her question. He helped her inside the car locking the door before she could escape.
"I have a meeting with—" she started
"No you don't" he stated starting the car.
"Aaban what nonsense—" he silenced her by placing a finger in her lips.
"My darling your assistant called this morning reporting that the clients have asked to reschedule the meeting and since you were tired from last night I told her to just that"
"No Aaban if something of that sort had to happen she would've told me, how will—"
"Woman just shut up for a second will you? You have a vacant spot in your schedule and it's all sorted. I told her not to tell you." he said making her furrow her eyebrows and turn to the front.
The car ride came to an end and she looked up with a bored and grumpy expression.
The sight of a gazebo on the cliff greeted her, she could hear the sound of that waves gushing right below. She turned her eyes to her husband who was not in the driver's seat anymore but was standing next to her with the door opened.
"My lady" he bowed down forwarding his hand making a smile bloom on her face as she placed her hand in his.
"My Lord, are you the reason behind this special arrangement?" She asked following after him.
"Why ofcourse your highness. The one and only" he said pulling a seat out for her.
"And why all of sudden this special treatment?" She asked.
"You see my lady. My wife has been working alot lately whether it be in her professional or personal life she rarely ever gets time for me" he said sighing as if deeply wounded.
"That's really sad, but wouldn't she be angry that you decided to take another on a date?" She asked leaning forward.
"For starters she wouldn't even notice that I'm gone while she handles her business and our son" he said taking her hands in his. Her eyes narrowed as a thought crossed her mind.
"Do you actually go on dates with other woman while I'm busy and unable to give you attention?" She shrieked standing up defensively.
"What?! No! Why would you think that to begin with? And why would I do that?!" He said horrified.
"What if I'm actually not able to give the time and now you've started seeing other women? What if now you don't find me attractive? Aaba—" she rambled on and on and until Aaban pulled her to him and placed his thumb on her lips, caressing them lightly.
"Sh.. that's too many questions in one breath. Huda we've talked about this before. I wouldn't go off for another women because for starters you'll chop my head off and second I don't want anyone else. You were beautiful, still are and will forever be even if we have ten children. To me you'll always be enough. Now get that through your thick skull?" He said shoving his fingers in his her forehead.
"Ten kids?" Her eyes widened as she gaped at him.
"That's all you heard? And what's wrong with ten?" He asked defensively.
"I've hardly gotten over one and you're planning ten. Nah ah. That can't happen"
"And why can't we? I only gave that figure as an example but what wrong with that?"
"I'm sorry but since you're clearly not the one pushing a literal human being out of yourself so you have no opinion" she said shoving him back.
"So Affan's going to be an only child?" He asked raising his eyebrows.
"I don't know but we're not having another baby till like four years later" she said looking away.
"Well we can always use protection" he mumbled making her hit him hard on his shoulder.
"Can you for once not talk about this stuff?" She hissed making him smirk.
"You're talking as if you don't enjoy it" he mocked making her turn red, mouth hanging open.
"I'm done. I'm leaving" she said walking away but he grabbed her waist pulling her back flush against himself.
"Now now dear tigress. Hold them hormones" he teased making her struggle in his hold and try kicking him but before it could get any further a waiter brought them their lunch.
"You're too much sometimes Aaban" she stated taking a bite of her meal.
"To that I'll say that you still love me"
"Sadly and gladly" she said
"Why sadly?" He asked offended.
"Because I can't leave you even if I sometime want to hit your head on the wall I can't. I love you that much"
"That must be alot then"
"It is" she said exaggerating it all.
"I love you" he said blowing her a kiss.
"Hm. I love me too" she sighed making throw his napkin at her.
The lunch was eventful with their bickering and Aaban's jokes. It all ended with the sun drowning in tht background as they walked along the shore of the sea feeling the waves caress their feet with it's calming gushes.
Life took alot from her but at the end when she looked back, all she could ever say was that it was all worth it. She kept her head on his shoulder listening Affan gurgling in his car seat. Her eyes closed as she sighed in content.
They walked inside their house, the house they built together and made it their heaven. The house filled with them running like children with paint all over them from when they were renovating the nursery. The house where she sang to her love, told him how much she adores him through the notes if the guitar.
The house where they felt complete, where they walked in with their baby held in their arms. The house where they relished the memories of every second they spent. From Affan's first day to his first bath.
She sat on couch holding her boy I her arms. Cradling his body to her chest as her eyes moistened at the gratefulness that filled her. The happiness that filled her even after all she had been through. It was all worth it. To have what she has now she'll go through all that again if she had to. Just to have her world summed up in Aaban and Affan's presence.
"Hey. You okay?" She felt a hand on her shoulder pulling her eyes away from her baby's to her husband face.
"Yeah. I just... I still can't believe that after all I could've ever been luckier. I can't believe this heaven is mine and I'm a part of it not an outsider. I feel so complete with you and Affan that it hurts sometimes. I'm so grateful for all that I have been given. I've done so much wrong and yet Allah decided to show me goodness. I'll be good. I'll be good for you and for my little baby. I just can't believe this" she cried in Aaban's chest making him hug her close.
She felt her heart explode thinking of how many times she has disobeyed her Lord but yet he gave her all that she ever once prayed for. Even after her going stray he still didn't leave her. She tried, she's still trying to go back to what she was born to. Slowly with baby steps follow her true path and repent and with Aaban being right beside her she couldn't help but feel even more happy.
She could start from minimum correction, small is sometimes bigger than we think it is. It's all about who he wishes to bring back to the right path and who not.
The were a happy family at the end as the night enveloped them, the three embraced eachother in their deep slumber. Happiness and peace was what their souls finally felt.

Lying on the hard concrete floor all she thought of was how much she didn't deserve
How much she had faked all her emotions
How much she had suffocated herself.
All she thought was off the curses that she bestowed upon herself
And the restraints that clutched her tight
Slowly but gradually when the sun arouse she felt it burning her sorrows away.
She felt it warm her cold heart
And melt the deadly ice
It loosened her to reality and made her see the bright truth she had been ignoring
For there was no curse not a spell
It was all that her mind was fed by people and preachers of time.
In the end she became the hero she always seeked in another
It was her along.
Her own hero.
