B&W 15.

He walked in the house with a heavy heart. White sheets covered the floors and a carrier stood in the middle. The body was covered in white kafan. The true garment of humans that will be worn for eternities to come.

Faris sat beside the body with swollen eyes and disheveled clothes. He wasn't ready to accept the fact that his wife and unborn child were gone. His heart was ripped out of his chest and was fed to hyenas while he still felt every ounce of pain felt by the organ.

"Faris bhai" he said sitting beside him with his hand on his shoulder.

"Tell her to wake up. Buraak. Tell her to stop this game of hers" he said in a broken voice making tears gather in Buraak's eyes.

"She has to go" he croaked making Faris sit before the carrier in a defensive stance.

"No" he roared "you can't take her away from me. She's fine. She's wake up soon. We have a family to build" he yelled pushing him away making him wipe his tears and hold the men back who stepped forward.

"Bhai. Let her go" he tried again.

"No!"

"It's painful for her bhai. She need to go. Make it easy for her bhai. Won't you want her to be at ease?" He tried his best bait.

"She's can't be at ease alone without me" he said looking at the covered body.

"Pray for her that she be at ease. It's all we can do. Let her go now so you can meet her in the here after" he said making Faris stare ahead with a lost gaze.

"Give her in the hands of Allah now. Trust him and pray for her" he said rubbing his shoulder. Faris looked at her and then at him. Buraak blinked and ushered him to hold the carrier.

Loud chanting of kalma e shahadat filled the air as they carried the body to the bus and then to her final resting place.

No one could've expected for her to leave this soon. She was pregnant, she was expecting her first child but life didn't have it in her to love more with that happiness.

After the burial they came home, Faris was put to sleep by giving him medicines. Haleel was another case. He had lost all senses and was now muttering incoherent words.

The jinn he had inflicted on Wafa for him to gain strength over her - for him to overtake her - had now broken free of all chains, all tht limits he was bound to.

No nothing could stop him from taking over her or from destroying what's around her.

__________

It had been two weeks and Wafa wasn't found. Not a single evidence was found, not a single trace.

"What's taking you too long Hatim?" Buraak roared slamming his hand on the table.

"We've looked in every possible place ever. Re-checked every single spot we could've doubted." Hatim sighed making Buraak shake in fear. Safa's death had shaken him up. He feared what would happen if he doesn't find her in time.

"Maulvi sahab you suggest something" Hatim said making Zaakir look up from the spot he was staring at.

"I don't know. We can't seen to get a hold of anything. I—" he was cut off by Buraak's phone ringing. He pulled it out of his pocket and stared wide eyed at the phone number.

"Hello. Wafa?" he stood up from his place speaking in urgency.

"Buraak" he heard sobbing from the other end.

"Where are you wafa?"

"Help me Buraak. He... He'll kill me Buraak. Please save me" she cried making his heart beat pick up.

"Where are you? I'm coming. Stay calm I'm coming. Where are you?"

"Ho... Home...." He heard her scream from tht other end as he ran out of the office with the two men following behind him.

"Hello? Wafa?"

"Tick tock. Tick tock. Times running out come and save her if you can" a steeling cold voice spoke in the speaker making his blood run cold. Zaakir took the driver's seat and Hatim called his team.

The line went dead, they drove as fast as they could, Hatim's phone rang and he picked it up.

"Haleel..... Haleel left the house and has not returned since last night. Beta help me, I'm scared" Fakhra cried on tht line making hatim reassure her that he'd return soon.

"Your father-in-law is missing" Hatim informed.

"Ya Allah" Buraak sighed and sat up straight as they neared their house.

He ran inside with the others following. A tremor ran down his spine.

"Wafa" he called. Silence greeted him.

"Wafa" he called louder walking deeper inside.

"Buraak" her voice called him but it sounded as if it was coming from every corner of the house. Hatim instructed the team to search the house.

"Sir" a man called alerting them. The three ran upstairs to the rooftop and halted in their steps. Their hearts lurched in their throats as they spotted her sitting on the floor, infront of his body.

Blood coated her face, hands and body. Hands moving up and down stabbing the knife again and again into his mushy body.

"Wafa" Buraak yelled at the horrifying sight of his Wafa. She didn't stop and he stepped forward.

"Buraak no" Zaakir held him back.

"She can harm you in this state" he continued.

"But—"

"Hey" Zaakir yelled making her stop and tilt her head up. She wasn't Wafa. It wasn't her.

Her eyes were black like the midnight sky. Hair a mess, face bloodied and lips stretched into a horrifying grin.

"Leave her" Zaakir ordered. Making her shoulders shake and a bark of laughter leave her lips. She threw her head back and laughed clapping her hands.

"In the name of Allah leave the girl alone" Zaakir yelled stepping forward and started reciting surahs. The process of ruqyah had started and he could see the effect of it also.

"Stop" she said but the voice was deep and dark.

"Leave Wafa alone"

"I said stop" she said clawing out a piece of flesh from Haleel's open chest. A bike rose up Buraak's throat and he turned away from the terrifying sight. Tears gathered in his eyes as he heard the sound of her growling and flesh ripping apart.

Zaakir's recitation grew louder making her claw at her skin. His fingers shredded the sleeves of her shirt and tore her skin making blood trickle down her body.

"Stop." She growled "she's my possession. You can't make me leave her" the entity yelled getting up from it's place and started walking back towards the railing.

"If you don't stop I'll take her with me" it threatened smirking while looking down from railing of the third floored rooftop.

"Stop." Buraak yelled making them look at him.

"Wafa." He called. "I know you're there. I know you can hear me. Come on. Fight him for us. For me" he cooed making her expression sink.

"Keep going" Hatim said from behind him.

"Wafa. Please don't let him do this. You've fought him before. Come on." He said walking closer to her who was still as a statue.

"Buraak?" He heard her meek voice, her eyes going back to their honey colour.

"Yes. It's me. Come back Wafa" he said. A distance of two steps between them. She sobbed stepping towards him - wanting to hide in his embrace - but it took over her again. It screamed loudly making them cover their ears.

"Why are you after her?" Buraak yelled making him laugh loudly.

"I love her" it laughed making their skins crawl. "She's mine. I've marked her mine and no one else can take her away from me" it growled.

"Why have you killed Haleel and Safa?" He asked keeping her busy so that Zaakir could reach her.

"He showed her to me. He was bridge to her but that bastard always held me back with his ilm." It snarled at Haleel's body.

"And that bitch Safa" it laughed menacingly.

"She thought she could save her from me. Stupid her. She freed me by burning my restrictions and now" his laughter ceased and it looked dead in Buraak's eyes. "And now no one can stop me from taking her with me"

Zaakir took the knife away from her and held her arms behind her back. She thrashed in his hold making Buraak hold her down.

"Leave her alone right now" Zaakir ordered making it growl inhumanly.

"Never. I'll end anyone who comes in my way" she thrashed against them as they held her down on the floor.

"No" she fought against them as Zaakir recited loudly in her ears and commanded the entity to leave her.

"Leave her or else" he warned pressing an amulet of Allah's name against her face making her scream in agony.

She kicked Buraak away fought her way out of Zaakir's hold. She ran over to the railing and climbed over it.

"I will take her with me" it snarled, but it's strength was washing away. There only so much that the energy of hell could fight against the almighty.

"Wafa. Please come down" Buraak cried stepping closer to hold her down. Tears slipped out of his eyes making her come on surface.

"I can't do this anymore Buraak" she cried bending down to hold his hand and something pushed her off the edge.

"Buraak"

"No!"
