A&H 12.
I really wanted to make an aesthetic board for this chapter but.... I couldn't 😂😂. For certain reasons. Ahem....
Hearing the bell ring she looked down at her attire and then in the direction of the door. Initially she decided to ignore it and lay down to give herself some rest. The soft sheets were heaven against her hairless smooth skin.
The silence was serene and calm but it was again broken by the irritating chim of the bell. Taking a deep breath she got up from her comfortable bed, snatched the long silk robe with fur detailing on the sleeves and front opening. Wrapping it around her she sauntered down the glass staircase, the robe kissing the glass with a luxurious and soft caress.
Barefoot she walked to the door and looked at the monitor attached near it. It was the guy from the reception. Pressing the button to the microphone she spoke.
"Who is it?"
"I'm from the reception desk ma'am some man has dropped these flowers for you." the man had his hopes high. Who wouldn't. Having a look at the gorgeous woman who lived on the top floor was every male workers dream. A wish that seldom came true.
Tightening the strings of her robe she unlocked the door. The man visibly broke into a sweat coming face to face with the goddess herself. Clearing his throat, adjusting his collar he forwarded the huge bouquet to her.
Rolling her eyes she took it from his hands and waved him off. She was about to close the door but found him standing there still like a mannequin. His eyes falling down in her form. The robe was itself a reason of arousal he didn't even need to see what his under it.
"Anything else?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. The question startled him as his eyes shot up to meet her black ones.
"N... No. Have a nice evening ma'am" she nodded as the man sprinted away.
Turning around she kicked the door close and examined the flowers. It was huge bouquet larger than a normal sized one, heavier than normal also, blood red roses filled the wrapping, their heads bloomed and wide open, their petals were still moist and looked too perfect to be true, the scent was intoxicating as she pulled them up to her nose smelling them. The white card was prominent in their brightness, picking it out and placing the roses carefully on the sofa she flipped it open.
Blank. The card had nothing written in it. Her eyebrows creased as she started at the card.
"I heard what happened to Shahid. I thought I'd come to congratulate." a deep voice startled her. Her shoulders stiffened and breathing sparsed.
The click of the door being locked resounded in the empty penthouse. An arm wounded around her waist as her sense went on high alert. Just as the person behind was about to pull her back she elbowed the person in the rib, in a swift move she turned around and punched the man in the face. A groan escaped the culprits lips as they left her waist and stepped back alittle.
"Wha....... professor?" Turning around she was surprised to see Aaban clutching his nose and side while sitting on the ground.
"What a way to welcome your guest? I must say you have unique ways of greeting people"
"What are you doing here? And how did you know I was here?"
"Well. For starters my nose is bleeding, let's take care if that first" he said wiping the blood off of his upper lip.
She stared at him for a good minute then turned around rolling her eyes.
"Come with me" she walked up the stairs into her room with him following her.
Walking over to the dresser placed in the corner she pulled out a first aid kit from it. Turning around she found Aaban already making himself at home on the bed.
"I guess you were already expecting me" he mused eyeing the wine glasses and her attire.
"Here help yourself" she tossed the kit in his lap and crossed her arms.
"You've given me the wound it's only fair that you treat it" his statement hays her raising a brow at him.
"I don't have time for your games professor. Tell me straight why you're here?" Leaning back alittle she said. Her left leg peeking from the opening of the robe and his eyes found themselves stuck on it.
"I was in the city thought to pay you a visit. What's the harm in that?" Rolling her eyes she was about to leave when he grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him. The impact had her stumbling on him.
Hands on his shoulders, right leg between his legs, robe slipping off of her shoulders by the strings loosening, was it accidental or was it his fingers working their way with them? It was all in a blur.
Releasing an irritating sigh she pushed him back and aggressively opened the kit, pulling out a cotton ball. Grabbing his nape she pulled his backward making his eyes leave her cleavage and meet her and eyes. His eyes begged to see what the robe covered while his hands itched to explore the smoothness of her skin.
"Gentle lady. That's not a way how you treat a wounded person"
"You're not deadly wounded. Get this done and leave the same way you came or else.." she fisted his hair and inched her face closer to his. His gaze fell on her lips which were pulled down in a sneer.
"Or else what?" He challenged. His voice a mere whisper, in one swift motion she was laying under him. Her eyes widened while he hovered over her she tried pushing him off but he pinned her hands beside her head.
"Or else I won't-" her words were eaten by his lips that took hers in a searing kiss. Her eyes dropped as his hand caressed her cheek and jaw.
Her skin felt baby soft against his cloused hands. Her body squirmed as she felt his arousal against her abdomen.
His hands expertly slipped the rode off of her leaving her behind in her beige colored net lingeri. The laced two piece lingerie she had adorned looked stunning against her sunkissed complexion. Beige and tan were a deadly combination after all. The flower detailing on the cups was demanding his attention immediately. His hand cupped her mounds squeezing it making her arch more into him. His hands explored the skin of her waist finally settling on her hips.
She pulled away breathing heavily, hands on his shoulders clutching them for life. Their breaths mingled till he dipped his head in the crook of her neck. Kissing and nibbling on her neck making her moan as the unknown sensation ravished her whole.
Her hands worked on the buttons of his shirt, one after another broke loose, her hands felt the strong muscles of his chest and shoulder pushing the white dress shirt off his form.
His eyes met hers, their gazes filled with desires and want for one another. His eyes took in her form and he felt his beast fighting for release.
Her hands rounded around his neck. Putting one hand on his left cheek and the other on his nape she pulled his face closer.
"We should probably stop.." she whispered against his lips pecking them slowly. His taste was driving her crazy but not enough to make her loose herself in her dark desires.
"Why?" He questioned turning them over. She straddled him standing on all fours above him.
"We're not lovers nor am I going to act like your one night stand." she whispered kissing the bulging pulse on his neck. His fingers dug into the flesh of her hips as her teeth nibbled the skin on his collar bone. She pulled away and got off of him. She wasn't ready for it neither did she trust him.
He saw it. A glimpse of uncertainty, innocence and flaming desire flicker in her gaze as she eyed his naked chest. She wore her robe again and tightly held it against herself.
He didn't force it though he wanted to yank her under him and finish what that had started. Taking deep breaths he sat up and looked at her. Her chest was rising and falling as an impact of uneven breathing, face flushed red and arms defensively crossed over her chest.
"You didn't think that before all this happened?" He sounded offended but that didn't bother her.
"I wasn't the one who started it." She retorted back. He got up aggressively and pulled his shirt on him.
"Third door to the right" she said looking at the crumbled sheets.
"What?"
"Guest room." She said looking over her shoulder.
"You want me to stay here?"
"I wouldn't have wanted that but your current condition doesn't match her stoic expression" she smirked eyeing him up and down.
Hair disheveled, shirt wrinkled and pants telling a story of their own.
Stomping his foot he left. She left her room and went downstairs feeling the fire inside her subside but not leave completely.
Picking up the roses she put them away in the kitchen. They were drying already there was no point in restoring them much like her heart.
Will she ever be able to trust anyone? Or will she forever live with the second guessing?
This spark that was igniting within them threatened to burn them to ashes. It scared them but also pushed them to explore it more. Like moth to a flame they were being pulled to a never ending tunnel with no idea of light present there.
