"So, first off, we suddenly see something we have never seen ever before, and not a moment too soon, they decide to send us far away from Tokyo."

"But why do all that though..?"

"I wouldn't have a clue, but guess it at least has something to do with these handcuffs we got." Tamaki replies as he lift his hand, showing his wrist still being cuffed and connected to Kurumi's cuff.

He picks out his phone afterwards, but notices it's complete out of battery.

"Well then, guess we just have to walk all the way back-"

A loud explosion is suddenly heard coming in the direction of the city, and the two look at each other before starting to run towards the city.

What feels like forever, they finally reach the city, but a ton of police cars are blocking off several streets and people are crowding to look at what's going on.

"Man, not even sales can make these many people be in one place."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE HAVE BEEN ATTACKED WITHOUT ANYONE SEEING ANYTHING?!" One of the police officers suddenly yells at his colleagues as they all just shrug and himself facepalms.

"Excuse us, officer, but what was that explosion not too long time ago?" Tamaki asks the police officer that had just been yelling as the latter turns around to the former and Kurumi.

"Definitely a sort of attack-"

But the officer stops for a moment before taking an extra look at the two high schoolers.

"Wait a minute, we got missing person reports about you two yesterday!"

"What, yesterday?!" Kurumi replies in shock, Tamaki being as shocked.

"What do you mean yesterday? Isn't this like..." Tamaki begins, but he spots one of the buildings having a digital clock on it also showing date and time.

And like the officer had said, it actually is a new day.

"Kurumi, those two birdfreaks knocked us out for a good amount of hours, it's already around 3 PM..!"

"Shoot, and I were supposed to have practice with Lyrical Lily to prepare for the upcoming live!"

"Well, I guess they would understand... Maybe."

"Tamakiii, I can't just say that two birds sent us outside Tokyo! And I wouldn't even be able to explain our handcuffs!"

"Yeah, we got this around our wrists just because of a smaller misunderstanding from that more timid birdfreak."

Tamaki tries janking a bit on the blue thing holding them together by the cuff, but to no avail.

"Damn, we really are just stuck like this, huh?"

"Well, if we are, you are not allowed to come into my room~"

"What the hell does that got to do with this?!"

"Taaamaaakiii, admit that you wouldn't mind being in my room because we are now stuck together~"

"No, you are coming to my room."

"Whoa, that's very bold~"

"NOT IN THAT WAY!"

Tamaki has a blush on his face while shaking his head, and once he gets his composure back, he thinks a bit about what he and Kurumi shall do next.

"What do you say about that we first look up our friends?"

"And have Haruna scold at me endlessly about something beyond my control?! No way!"

"Well, they still should know you are alright."

"And what about you being alright as well?"

"Kurumi, I do not think they would care about me too much despite a whole year soon having gone by."

"I'm sure they still would, you are protecting me from the birds!"

"I have barely done anything." Tamaki says while rising an eyebrow, Kurumi only giggling in response.

"No matter, let us be off and find a way around all these blockades."

And thus the two friends begins walking away in hopes of there not being blockades at another street so they can make their way to Arisugawa.

"So how do you think we are supposed to get these handcuffs of each other?"

"Good question, though a question I can't answer crap about because how the heck am I supposed to know about tech from a completely different reality."

"It's kinda weird though that we didn't become more shocked about talking birds!"

"Come one now, Kurumi, we have literally a highly advanced AI in an artificial body walking among us, beings from different realities coming to us doesn't even feel far-fetched."

"Lumina looks so much like a real human I forget she is an AI!"

"Doctor Nova did some impressive feats after all, even if it was more so just to bring back his dead wife."

"That's absolutely is way too amazing of it, still sounds so unreal despite we being told that by Lumina herself!"

They continue chatting about various things as they keep on inching closer to Arisugawa, and eventually...

"SHIRATORI KURUMI, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!"

"Uhoh..."

Haruna comes storming towards Kurumi and Tamaki, absolutely furious.

"Skipping practice is fine enough, even if it ruined the schedule Miyu had... BUT SKIPPING AN ENTIRE DAY OF SCHOOL, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!"

"Come on now, Haruna, Kurumi and I couldn't have prevented-"

"Oh no, Murata, do not try to defend Kurumi! What were you even doing together with her this whole time??"

"Going missing at the same time due to the attackers that just blew up a part of the city-"

"Excuses! And besides..." Haruna says as she looks at the handcuffs linking the two together, she almost looks in disgust at Tamaki, "...That handcuff tells another story..!"

"W-What, no! This was put on by us by those attackers as well-"

"Excuses again! Shiratori, you are coming with me, whether you like it or not!"

"B-But to where..?"

"The principal, of course!"

"W-Wait, hold on Haruna, you are being too cruel right now..!"

"Well, this is more so so you can explain why you went missing and what Murata has to do with all this nonsense as well!"

"But we already-"

But Tamaki couldn't say much more as Haruna grabbed onto Kurumi's wrist before starting to almost drag her with her.

The strong pull of course janks on the link and Tamaki falls onto the pavement.

"Oow, what the hell..!"

"Then come with us as well-"

"No, Kurumi ain't going anywhere, she's coming with me!"

"Murata, don't be stubborn or I will tell the principal that extra care needs to be taken with you being around Arisugawa!"

"No way you are going to frame me as a creep!" Tamaki says in retaliation as he grabs Kurumi out of Haruna's grip as the two begins running.

"RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!"

"COME BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!"

But they don't come far before they bump into the twins again who hovers in front of them, and all three stops, with Haruna of course being shocked over what she is seeing.

"So how's the chain link doing for you two, enjoying it?"

"What do you even think, birdfreak..." Tamaki facepalms before turning around to face Haruna and points to the twins.

"Here, these two are the reasons me and Kurumi ended up in this situation."

"T-This has to be some special effect right..?"

"No, Haruna, it's all real!"

"As real as this!" The more brash twin says as he takes out a ray gun and fires it at Haruna, making her almost fall over from the blast, but her head droops down.

"W-Whoa, what the hell did you two do to her?!"

"The same we have been doing to all of your friends since the morning till now..." The brash twin says as Haruna begins raising her head, the shine in her eyes being completely gone, "Brainwashing them to do our bidding, hahahaha!"

"Man, that's just messed up as shit..!"

"Haruna, attack the male!" The brash twin commands Haruna, who locks her sights on Tamaki, before looking furious as she clenches her fist and immediately begins sprinting toward him.

"Haruna, wait-!"

But no words barely manage to come out of the boy's mouth as he gets delivered one hell of a knuckle sandwich, which sends him, and Kurumi due to the link, flying a bit before landing onto the road.

"Being linked to someone else is not fun anymore..!"

"Oh just you wait, Kurumi, we will show you both things that will make all of this fun again! Now, Haruna, come with us, though kick Tamaki in the stomach first!"

And the brainwashed Haruna once again follows the commands of the twins, and goes up to them, but not before she stops by Tamaki laying on the road and deliver a very hard kick to his stomach, making him almost yell out in pain, while she runs away with the twins.

"Tamaki..!" Kurumi shouts as she finally gets up and runs up to the boy.

"I-I'm fine, don't worry..." He tells her as he begins getting up.

"We need to chase down those birdfreaks, they are worse than we thought."

Kurumi nods as she helps him get on his feet, before they begin chasing after the twins and Haruna.

They keep on running and eventually end up in the middle of Shibuya, which is surprisingly very quiet, too quiet.

Catching their breath, they look around but see no signs of the twins.

"Crap, they got away-"

"Our masters said you would arrive here." Someone suddenly says as the two turns around, and spot Lumina.

"No shine in her eyes, she's under their influence! Or wait, unless..."

"Oh yes, you are correct, I am Proto Lumina. My masters were able to override Lumina so I could be in control of this body instead, and boy does it feel good."

"Proto, you are doing wrong in working with the twins, whatever they have promised is not worth it!"

"Yeah! They are only here to mess up everything!"

"And what makes you two think I don't want to do that~?" Proto Lumina says as she grins and her hand suddenly morphs into a cannon, which she shoots at the duo with.

"Crap..!" Tamaki says as he and Kurumi get out of the way, in two different directions, and thus ending up crashing back into each other after the link stretches and retracts again.

"We need to run in the same direction, Tamaki!"

"Man, being linked up with someone else sucks..."

Proto Lumina just snickers as suddenly, heavy steps are heard, and when Kurumi and Tamaki looks up, it's a mech in the colors of Lumina, complete with weaponry such as a chainsaw and rocket launcher.

"The twins made this just for me, so let me introduce to you; Mecha-Lumina!"

Both Kurumi and Tamaki look in shock as Proto Lumina has cables from the mech wrapping around her, removing her clothes so she can be fully connected to it.

"Whoa..."

"H-Hey, that's just an artificial body, not the real deal, like me-!"

"Silence you two, and fight me!"

"Shit, how the hell are we supposed to fight a mech?!" Tamaki says as he and Kurumi gets up to run away from the missiles being launched at them.

They jump out of the way from the mech's chainsaw, and keeps on doing all that while trying to figure out how to fight back.

"You cannot do anything, humans! I shall slice you up into pieces perfectly steak sized!"

"Hell no, I am not going let you sell us like marketable meat!" Tamaki says in response as he looks to Kurumi, who begins looking exhausted.

"Come on now, Kurumi, we need to think!"

"I-I don't know..!"

"Well, thinking time is over long ago!" Proto Lumina says as she begins firing up something from the mech's chest.

"Quick, behind here!" Tamaki tells Kurumi as they hide behind rubble that has begun piling up, and the mech fires off a ball of plasma, but it bounces off the rubble.

"Why is it solid?! Well, no matter, once you are caught in it, you will get disintegrated immediately!"

Tamaki thinks for a bit after Proto mentions that the plasma is solid.

"We could strike it back, but I don't know how."

"Perhaps with a strong ninja kick? I can do ninja kicks, hyah!" Kurumi shows as she kicks her leg high up, right in front of Tamaki, so that could be seen.

"Whoa..."

"See that as a motivator~"

"Yeah right. Anyway, let's go for it, but just doing that wouldn't be enough."

"Then spin me around so I can do a very strong ninja kick!"

"You sure about that??"

"Yes, 100%! Now let's get back at Proto Lumina!"

The duo soon runs out of hiding just as the mech was going to destroy it.

"This time I've got you!" Proto Lumina says as she grins and charges up another plasma blast, but this time as it almost hits the two, Tamaki grabs onto Kurumi's hands and lifts her up before spinning her around, letting her kick at full force at the plasma and sending right back at Proto Lumina, destroying the big chainsaw.

"Imbeciles! How did you even manage to find a way to combat me?!"

"With team work!" Tamaki replies as he grins while Proto Lumina slams her fist down on the controls as the mech charges up with a bigger plasma blast.

But just like before, Tamaki spins Kurumi around and hits the plasma right back at the mech, now destroying the rocket launcher.

"No, no, no, NO! I WILL NOT BE DENIED!" Proto Lumina yells out as she charges an even larger plasma blast, but with the same move, it gets sent back at the mech and this time actually disables it.

It begins shaking violently before exploding and Proto Lumina flies out from it. She hits the road underneath her, thus making her shut down.

The duo soon walks up to the deactivated Lumina among the wreckage, and Tamaki hunches down next to the AI.

"Sorry, Lumina, we will all make sure to fix you when we got the time."

"So she failed anyway, guess machines really are useless!" An unfortunately familiar voice says as the duo sees the twins again, sitting in their hover chairs as usual, this time with popcorn and soda in their arm rests.

"Tch, you two are just doing this for fun, huh?"

"Well, it is a part of conquering, is it not?" The timid twin says as the brash one nods in agreement.

"So you two are just going to play your own version of Command & Conquer? Then we will do anything to stop you two..!"

"I doubt that, hahaha! Well, time to go again, we got more bases to cover in Japan than just Tokyo, so we better hurry up!"

"But what about dinner..?"

"Forget dinner for now!" The brash twin replies as he flies away first, the timid one sighing before he follows suit.

"Damn it, all of Japan and most likely the whole world after..! We need to stop them!" Tamaki tells Kurumi as she nods, looking very determined to put an end to the Evil Twins' plans to conquer the world.

"All we need to figure out now is where to go next..."

But as Tamaki says that, the road begins cracking up, most likely from all the impact from the missiles earlier, before a sink hole begins forming.

Kurumi and Tamaki doesn't manage to react before the sink hole expands out under them, and the road gives out, with the two falling down into it.

"TAMAKI!"

"KURUMI! OH SHIIIIIIIIT!!"
