(Regulus's view)

I walked back into the living room to find my brother sitting in front of Luci on the floor with his wand out creating shadow animals for her to play with.

"Hi darling," I said, as I crouched a few feet away from her.

"Come here sweetheart." I cooed, as I opened my arms.

She looked at me a moment before staying where she was and grabbing one of the toys Sirius had given her and throwing it towards me with a giggle.

"Are you kidding me?" I thought as I ducked before scooping her up and kissing her on the forehead.

"Oh, you silly goose." I said, as Sirius joined us on the bench and touched a hand to Luci's forehead.

"She feels warm, I think she might have a fever." he said, as he took her from me and sat down on the couch with her in his arms.
