(Regulus's view)

I came downstairs the next morning to find Luci and Dimitry on the couch watching a film together.

"Good morning," I said, leaning down to kiss Luci on the cheek.

"Morning daddy," she greeted as I sat down between them.

"What are we watching?" I asked leaning back against the cushions.

"It a surprise." she said as she and Dimitry shared a secret smile.

"Aren't you going to tell me?" I asked with a pout making Dimitry chuckle before looking at Luci.

"What do you think mi amor? should we tell him the title?" he asked, and she nodded before looking up at me with a smile.

"Whisper in shadow." she said, making me raise an eyebrow.

"What dear?" I asked with a look at Dimitry for clarification.

"The name of the film we're watching is Whisper in the shadow." he said, ruffling Luci's hair lovingly.

"That sounds lovely." I said, before turning my attention back to the film only to get the breath nearly knocked out of me as Luci launched herself onto my chest.

"Oof!" I exclaimed as she jumped up and down on my stomach before getting off and climbing into Dimitry's lap with a satisfied smirk.

"Got you, daddy." she said, before looking up at her godfather with a soft grin.

"Looks like he's a little flustered there, baby." he said as he returned her grin with one of his own before pulling her into his lap.

  "Can we play a game?" she asked him with a small smile.

"Of course we can!" he said as he ruffled her hair affectionately before grabbing her hand and hurrying out of the room with a laugh.

"You go hide, and I'll come and find you." he said, and Luci nodded eagerly before scurrying out of the room with a bright smile on her face. 

Dimitry then covered his eyes with his hand and began to count to eleven. "Ready or not, here I come!" he called once he'd finished counting and began his search for Luci.

"Where are you? come out, come out. I'm going to get you." he called as he continued to search for her.

"Where is my little goddaughter, hmm? I'm going to gobble her up once I find her." he said, when suddenly he spotted her hiding under a bundle of soft fuzzy blankets then pulled them off and scooped her into his arms kissing her on the cheek making me chuckle.
"There you are my dear." He said as he gave her an Eskimo kiss before setting her down again.
