(Regulus's view)

I awoke in the morning to find my brother standing over me with a smile on his face and Luci in his arms.

"Good morning, fuzz ball." he teased as he chuckled at the sight of my messy bed head.

"Mmm? oh, morning." I replied with a yawn as I stretched sleepily before putting my robe and  fuzzy slippers on before following my brother down stairs to the kitchen.

"I think someone's hungry." I said, with a laugh while watching in amusement as my brother wolfed down his food.

"Yeah, I'm starving." he said, before clearing his plate from the table and kissing Luci on the cheek.

"Good morning, sweetheart." he said, and she giggled as she pressed her little hand to his face which he covered with his own.

"I'm off to meet James for a butter beer, I should be home before supper." he said, before hugging me and kissing Luci's forehead.

"Bye sweetie." he said, as he tapped her nose lightly with his finger.

She simply smiled at him before turning to smile at me.

"Hi baby." I said, as I scooped out of her high chair and sat down with her in my lap.

"What should we do today, hmm?" I asked, tossing her into the air and catching her again before resting my nose on hers.

"Want to read a story?" I asked, and she giggled as she put her little hand on my cheek.

"I love you," I told her as I covered her little hand with my own letting a tear fall as I remembered my wife. "Your mommy would've loved to see you smiling like this." I told her as I held her close to me before drifting off to sleep.

I awoke a few seconds later to the smell of something stinky and quickly glanced down at my daughter.

Then it hit me, the smell was coming from the diaper.

"Oh god, that stench is strong!" I thought, as I quickly scooped her up and placed her on the changing table and quickly changed her before throwing the diaper into the trash after putting a new one on her.

"That was really stinky." I thought as I waived my wand so that all the windows opened on their own. "Do you want to take a bath darling?" I asked Luci, who eagerly pulled at my hair.

"Okay then," I said, as I scooped her up and made my way to the bathroom.

I turned on the water in the bathtub and got in with her still in my arms.

"Ready Luci?" I asked, as I carefully leaned her back in the water before helping her back up.

She smiled up at me again and I smiled back down at her as I kissed her cheek.

"Let's watch a film, yes?" I asked, and she smiled again before pulling my hair.

"Ow, okay, okay, I love you too." I said with a laugh as I dried her off then dried myself off and put my robe on.

"C'mon sweetie," I said, as I scooped her up again and made my way back into the living room.
