D.G. Shepherd, The Shark Hunter

Drake, 50 and Doug, 16 live in a small town very close to the beach.

This small town used to live in harmony with nature. There is even a reserve with some aquatic animals including seals.

The place used to be friendly, but a few years before a big shark killed many people including Doug's mother and Drake's wife called Grace.

Now, people are afraid of the sea, afraid of the sea monster, this huge shark.

People nicknamed the shark Destroyer or D. Shark. He is an insatiable killing machine. Therefore, almost no one risks going into the sea. Only a few firefighters and police enter the sea trying to capture D.Shark. Some police officers even use German Shepherd dogs. They are desperate. But the monster resists and men and women continue to die.

Doug is a brave teen but he is obsessed, he wants to avenge his mother's death. He is a firefighter trainee and his main goal nowadays is to kill the Destroyer.

Drake is scared, he doesn't want Doug to be a firefighter, he loves his son very much. Drake was a brilliant scientist, but now he is considered a mad scientist and currently 'works' with genetic mutations, with DNA modification.

Nobody respects Drake, everyone respects Doug. The first was an exemplary family man and a great husband, but now he wants to 'create a magical and more peaceful solution' to capture the shark. But Drake wants blood, he is considered the future hero because he is the only young man in the town who has the courage to hunt and kill the shark. Doug wants to destroy the Destroyer.

But unfortunately, just when Doug thinks he's ready to kill the shark, he actually isn't. So, the Destroyer destroys Doug.

Now Drake has no family left, he is lost, he is freaking out, very sad and almost giving up on his own life, when he finally has an 'idea' that might work. A 'brilliant idea' for hunting and capturing D. Shark.

Nobody believes Drake, not the firefighters or the police. People laugh at this 'idea', but Drake isn't going to give up now, he can't. He didn't save his wife and his son, but he wants to save the city. This is Drake's goal: to save the city by creating a protector.

Drake genetically crosses Doug's DNA with the DNA of a seal with the DNA of a German shepherd. It worked! Drake named the experiment/protector D.G. Shepherd or just The Shark Hunter.

The 'animal' has the flippers and fins of a seal, the snout and loyalty of a German shepherd and the heart of a human being, literally, a heart very similar to Doug's.

So, being helped by police and firefighters, D.G. Shepherd captures the Destroyer and saves the place. Now, the city is friendly again and has an unusual protector.

If 'danger' approaches in the future, The Shark Hunter will be ready to act.
