Zay likes to explore. She's a trier, always doing new things. She wants to be able to say she lived, despite the difficulty in simply surviving her past. Zay is a fighter and very proud of it, especially since she had to hide the training she got to become one. Her abusive father made her into a strong willed, stubborn girl, but also taught her to hide her weaknesses and never back down from a fight.

You think you can beat me?-
Zay is a very skilled fighter, both with words and weapons. She loves taking down enemies, showing them that she can do anything. 

Let's go explore!-
New places always intrigued Zay. She'd never really been out of Stetriol before the Greencloaks picked her up, barely even travelling outside her town. She's always wanted escape and find her own way, explore the world and discover her place.

I love snakes-
Zay loves her spirit animal. Not just because he got her out into the world, but also because his presence makes her name carry weight. She's someone with her spirit animal, not just a poor girl from Stetriol.

Don't tell me what to do!-
Do not boss Zay around if you want to stay alive. She cannot stand being told what to do, and rebel endlessly if anyone tries to force her into anything.

Dinner's ready.-
Zay is a surprisingly good cook. But she despises cooking and all the implications that come with it. She'd rather be doing anything than standing in the kitchen.

Doesn't hurt-
Zay has an incredibly high tolerance for pain. Though she doesn't enjoy pain (if she would that'd be weird-), she knows how to deal with it and can fight through it if absolutely necessary.

It's not that hot-
Zay also has a very high tolerance for heat. It's probably mostly just that she grew accustomed to it, living in the hot and dry land of Stetriol.

Bullseye!-
Zay has excellent aim. She can hit a target dead centre pretty anytime, no matter how far away she may be. This accuracy makes her deadly, especially when she has her throwing knives and you've made her mad.

I'm not angry!-
Zay has a hard time managing her anger. It's gotten better, but she still has moments where she loses control, becoming violent. She's hurt the people around her before in this rage-induced state, but it is never intentional.

No...-
Zay's abusive father left her with her fair share of PTSD– thanks, dad– and this means she frequently has nightmares and panic attacks. The worst part is probably the flashbacks, during which her fight or flight instinct may be activated.
