Niko is an easygoing guy at first glance. He can be funny and is all around just a nice kid. But he can also be pretty dense and oblivious, which is super annoying, especially if someone's trying to tell him something without actually telling him.

Niko loves making people laugh. It comes easy to him, and always makes him feel warm. He came from a family that didn't have many reasons to laugh, but they stayed happy any way they could.

I didn't know that!-
Niko is super interested in all the different cultures. He never got the chance to travel with his family, but it's one of his biggest dreams to travel all over Erdas and learn about all the different cultures and people.

Niko hates, and I mean hates, people who act like they're entitled to everything. Which seems weird, considering who he's dating, but they make it work.

Niko is terrified of flames. After a particularly bad experience where he got trapped in a burning hut and nearly died, he avoids it at all costs.

It's not that hot-
Having grown up in Nilo, Niko is used to extreme heat. He knows how it can kill, has seen it himself, and thus knows how best to prevent that fate.

Jesse, get your head outta the sand-
He has a good bond with his spirit animal, an ostrich named Jesse. They work well in battle, and are relatively close outside of it as well.

His history as a thief made him very paranoid and prone to snooping in places he probably shouldn't be. However he can be extremely stealthy.
