Your POV

After about half an hour, Cyrus came into the room. I looked up from the book I was reading and walked out of the bedroom.

I saw that he seemed to be looking for something in a hurry so I decided to ask him. "What are you looking for?" I said.

Cyrus looked at me. "Eh, nothing." He lied as he continued searching and mumbling stuff to himself.

"Are you sure?" I asked. "Yep." Cyrus answered while still searching the living room. "Where did I leave it?" I heard him mutter.

I look around and see a small box under the table. I walk over to it while Cyrus tries to search the kitchen. The box was light blue and it was wrapped with a sky blue ribbon.

"Is this what you're looking for?" I call out to my roommate. Cyrus appeared from the kitchen and saw the box in my hand.

He immediately grabbed it from me. "Hey, what-" "This is not yours. Its, um, something secret that I own." Cyrus said as he took the box from me.

"What's inside it?" I questioned. "None of your business, N/N." He replied as he walked to the bedroom. I wonder why that box is so important to him.

Oh well, its his stuff so I shouldn't be snooping around it. I shrug as I head to the bedroom. When I got there, the box was nowhere to be found and Cyrus acted as if nothing happened.

"So when will we go to the arcade?" I asked. "Probably about 5pm or when it gets dark." Cyrus replied as he took out his phone and started playing something.

Curious, I go over beside him on his bed to watch what he was doing. He was playing Stick War 3. I know since I see Cruise play it sometimes.

Right now, Cyrus was playing in a 2v2 match and he was finishing off his opponent's statue with all his Giants, Magikills, and Eclipsors.

How did he get those so quickly? And how is he winning even if his partner left the game?

After the statue crumbled, Cyrus looked at me. "What?" He asked. "I- Im just questioning how you got 4 Giants, 3 Magikills, and 7 Eclipsors so fast." I told him.

"Yeah, Im a pro." Cyrus said as he patted my head. "I can beat anyone who plays against me." I thought for a while.

"I wanna try to play against you." I said. "Oh, you mean you're challenging me?" Cyrus smirked. "You wanna try to beat me when no one else could?"

"Yeah, I beat Cruise and other random players a few times. I think I stand a chance." I told him.

"Heh, alright go ahead. But Im warning you though." Cyrus told me as I got my phone and scoffed at his threat. It can't be that hard to beat him at least once. I told myself.

When I opened Stick War 3 and added Cyrus to my friends, I challenged him and the match started. "GL." I heard Cyrus say. "You too." I told him.

The match started and I used my gold to train a few Miners to get more gold to train a Spearton. But before my last Miner finished training, I saw that the midpoint was glowing red.

He conquered it already so his units might start attacking at any time. I managed to get a Spearton just in time to defend my Miners from Cyrus' incoming Swordwrath.

The last Swordwrath standing went back to the midpoint. I sighed in relief as I started training an Archidon and another Spearton.

But just seconds later, some arrows were being shot at my Miners. Wait, what units does he have in his army now?

I user control my Spearton and try to get close to the midpoint to see what units Cyrus already has. I stare in shock as he had 6 Archidons, 3 Eclipsors, and a Giant.

"How-?" I stuttered. "Surprised? I told you Im a pro at this game." Cyrus said as I clear my head and focus on the match.

I take my Spearton back to guard the Miners in case a unit tries to attack them. I was waiting until I got enough crystals to train a Magikill.

But before I could, I saw that one of my Miners were poisoned. I saw that Cyrus was user controlling a Toxic Dead and was aiming the poison guts at my Miners.

I sigh as I use up my crystals to use acid rain to try to get Cyrus to man the fort. But when I checked the midpoint, only the Archidons were there.

I killed off the Archidons and tried to conquer the midpoint. But then, Toxic Deads were shooting at my Spearton, eventually killing it.

I growled and I heard Cyrus laugh. No I am not giving up hope just yet. I tell myself as I put my head back in the game.

When I had enough Archidons and Speartons, I let them attack. But when they reached the midpoint, Cyrus used Tesla Coil and it dealt a lot of damage on my units.

I train more Archidons to replace the ones that died. When my population was full, I commanded my whole army to attack.

My Speartons, Archidons, Magikills, and Giant against Cyrus' army of Toxic Deads, Giants, Magikills, and Eclipsors.

Things were going a bit downhill for me. Cyrus used Snow Squall and slowed down most of my incoming units, giving him an adavantage.

When my Giant died, I knew the battle was lost. But I didn't resign and kept fighting until my statue was crushed by the blasts of Magikills, the shots of Eclipsors and Toxic Deads, and the club swings of the Giant.

The sound of defeat played while the sound of victory played for my opponent. "GG, N/N." Cyrus told me. But I knew he just said that to brag about his win.

"GG." I replied. "But still, how did you get all those units so fast?" Cyrus shrugged. "I have my ways." He said.

"But you do know that I just did easy on you right?" I froze in shock. "I- you know what? I don't even bother asking anymore." I stutter as Cyrus chuckled.

After the match, we stay quiet as we wait to prepare for our 'date' later.
