Next day;

At lunch break;

Nagisa: Where are you going Mihu?

Mihu is sneaking out of the class room.

Mihu: M..Me?!...Ummm.. I..a... I have.. some stuff I need to do... some where... Bye!

Mihu runs away.

Lily: She is acting weird. 

Karma: A little bit.

Ayumi: I'm sure it's nothing.

Nagisa: Yeah, she must have something important to do.

Just then, Zen comes to them.

Zen: Hey everyone, where's Mi-chan?

Yumi: She just left.

Hisato: She had something she needed to do.

Zen: But she said she'd have lunch with me today. 

Lesha: You two are family yet hardly spend any time together. 

Zen: I'm always busy with training classes that last till late at night. In the morning Mi-chan leaves earlier than me. We never get to be together.

Lily: That's sad.

Nagisa: Don't worry Zen-kun! I'm sure there was a reason for missing such an important lunch today. She'd definitely be there tomorrow!

Zen: I know. Mi-chan is very busy these days because of the recent attacks. I'm sure she'll give me time if she can.

Yumi: You lived in another city before. Right?

Zen: Yeah but now I'm here permanently!

Karma: That's great!

.........Next Day......

Lunch break;

Zen: Where's Mi-chan?

Hisato: She left before we knew it.

.....Next Day...

Lunch break;

Zen:*SIGH* She isn't here, is she?

Lesha: No...

NEXT DAY;

Lunch break (Obviously);

Zen: Where is she?!

Lesha: No idea.

Nagisa: I tried to talk to her but she escaped the conversation every time.

Zen: She gives me no response as well.

Lily: Don't worry.....

Next day:

As soon as Mihu leaves the class during lunch break, Nagisa starts following her.

During this, Nagisa bumps into everyone else who seemed to be following her too.

Nagisa: What are you all doing here? *Whispering*

Ayumi: Following Mihu.

Karma: We need to know what's going on.

Zen: Even if it takes to follow Mi-chan...

Nagisa: We have the same goal , lets go!

Lily: Why are they so excited? It's weird...

They follow Mihu at a large and safe distance because of her skills to sense people.

Zen: She went to the ground behind school.

Yumi: Why would she go there?

Lesha: Only one way to find out!

Hisato: Lets go!

They reach the place and hide behind a wall at some distance.

They see Mihu there and she's with Hiro.

Hiro is training her in hand to hand combat.

...........

Mihu charges at Hiro and he easily dodges it. After trying for a good fifteen minutes, she lays on the ground exhausted.

Mihu:He....He's too good! *BREATHING HARD*

Hiro: You said you were not good at it but it seems that you are terrible at it.

Mihu: So what?! Every one is bad at something! Even you!

Hiro: I don't think I'm bad at anything.

Mihu: Over confidence!

Hiro: Get up. We don't have all the time in the world you know.

Mihu: Yeah, Yeah!

Mihu stands up and gets in her fighting stance. 

Hiro:  Now when you attack an opponent your position should be something like this....

Hiro walks to her and holds her hand, teaching her the right way to stand during a fight. While he is adjusting her arms, Mihu is just staring at him with slight blush.

....Her friends are seeing all this....

Nagisa: So this is where she went! But is she NUTS?!

Hisato: why him?!

Lily: She was only training.

Ayumi: And He is teaching her well.

Yumi: At least she should've told us.

Lesha: But now we know that she isn't in any kind of trouble.

Karma: That's relieving.

Zen frowns and clenches his fists, seeing Hiro so close to his sister.   

Zen's thoughts: I thought I told her to stay on guard around him. He is so close to her!!! She could've asked me to train with her... Is she crazy?! He's a VAMPIRE!!!! Why would she do that? She didn't even tell any of us....   and skipped all those lunches.....He must have forced her into it!! I'm not letting him hurt my sister, my... FAMILY....

After making sure that there's nothing more to it, they all leave.

Next day, Hiro is still waiting for Mihu.

Just then, Zen comes over there.

Hiro: If you are looking for Mihu, then she isn't here yet.

Zen: I'm here to talk to you!

Hiro: Me? About what?

Zen: Don't act like you know nothing! What are you planning on doing to Mi-chan?!

Hiro: Nothing bad. I'm just training her.

Zen: Why would she train with you?!

Well?! Did you drag her out by force without letting her speak?!!!!

Hiro: She asked me to train her.

Zen: Listen up! No matter what you are planning, you can't even touch my sister!!!!!! Don't you even dare hurt her!! You are nothing but an UNACCEPTED, BLOOD THIRSTY MONSTER!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM HER!!

Mihu is standing there.

Mihu: Zen! Is this any way for a prince to talk to his elders?!!!

Zen: Mi-chan!

Mihu: What is going on out here?!

Zen: I...

Mihu: I'm very disappointed in you Zen! You shouldn't say things like that.

Zen: Why... WHY ARE YOU TAKING THAT CREEPY MURDERER'S SIDE?!

At this, Mihu slaps him.

Even Hiro was surprised.

Mihu: JUST BECAUSE HE'S A VAMPIRE, DOESN'T MEAN THAT HE IS A MURDERER!!!!!! 

Zen:..........

Mihu: Don't call him that..... I'm ashamed.... to call you my brother. I must have raised you wrong..... I  never taught you to say stuff like that! Just.... Just go away!!!!!!

Zen runs away.

Mihu starts to cry.

Hiro: There was no need to hit him like that....

Mihu: I'm his elder sister... It's my duty to discipline him...

Hiro: Was THAT the only reason?

Mihu: I.... I don't ...... want you to be hated..... but I also want my brother to believe me and accept my decisions.... he isn't just a child any more, what he did today was...

Hiro: Because of his love for his sister.... you are his only family.....and he is still just a child...

Mihu: I...... 

Mihu runs away.

Next day, both siblings don't even look at each other's face.

During lunch break,  everyone is having lunch together including Mihu  but except Zen.

Nagisa: Mihu , you are having  lunch with us after a while huh? Mihu? Mihu?

Mihu:*SPACED OUT*

Ayumi: Mihu? Mihu are you listening? Mihu?

Mihu: Huh?! What?

Yumi: Don't space out!

Lily: If only Zen would have joined us...

Hisato: Yeah, He said he needed to do something.

Mihu: Zen....

Lesha: Mihu, What's wrong? You look troubled..

Karma: Zen was acting weird too. Did something happen between you two?

Mihu: N..No... nothing.

Where is Zen?

At the ground behind school, where Hiro is calmly having his lunch.

Zen walks to him.

Hiro: You again?

Zen: I.... I realized my mistake.... Mi-chan isn't talking to me..... So.. I came to apologize.... I am truly really sorry for yesterday!

Hiro: I didn't expect you to apologize at least for two to three days but here you are. It's the first time Mihu got angry at you?

Zen: *NODS IS HEAD*...... Mi-chan loves me very much. She never hit me like that before...

Hiro: When Mihu trained with me, she tried her best to achieve her goal. She is responsible person indeed. She wants you to do what's right...

Zen: I know that... Mi-chan treasures me more than anything. and so do I treasure her!...... Father's friend , told me everything... I was only 1 year old back then and Mi-chan was only 5. I'm sure when the vampires came for her she was terrified. What can a five years old girl do any way? But before dying , my mother handed me to her. And so, despite being scared, shocked, weak and alone, she escaped from there not for herself but me. She didn't stop running until I was safe.... She saved my life... Even after seeing people  die, she didn't give up!!......... Even after that, she raised me herself. As much as I can remember, no matter how busy and tired she was, she always played with me. She made me who I am today..... I'm indebted to her... I can't pay her back in any way but I have trained and become stronger just so that now I can protect HER...... It's the least I can do for her....... I want to to protect her just like she did...

AGAIN, Mihu was right there listening to her brother's talk.

Mihu: Zen....

Zen: Mi-chan!

Hiro: You heard him loud and clear, right Mihu?

Mihu: I...did.

Zen: you knew she was there?!

Hiro: Kinda.

Mihu: Zen, I....

Zen: Mi-chan! I'm sorry for yesterday, I shouldn't have said those things....

Mihu: ......*CRYING*

What a jerk brother..... Look you made Mi-chan cry.

At this, Zen starts to cry too.

Zen: I'm sorry Mi-chan....

Mihu: I'm sorry too Zen... I didn't notice how you felt at all. You just wanted to spend time with me and I....I'm so stupid...

Zen: When I saw you with him.... I felt like he'd take you away from me.... I don't want to lose you too....  I wanted to save you...I was angry because you trained with him instead of me...

Mihu: I train so that I am strong enough to protect you and everyone else. I didn't tell you because I knew you're always busy. You  are just a child yet always burdened. I'm sorry you had to go through all of this....

Mihu runs and hugs her brother.

After crying for a while they let go off the hug.

Siblings crying out all the pain they went through in these 12 long years.

Mihu suddenly starts to giggle.

Zen: Mi-chan?

Mihu: I have a surprise for you, Zen.

Zen: A surprise?

Mihu: Yup! *Takes out a paper from her pocket*

Zen: You're.....That's...!

Mihu: Yes, you are going to attend Airi Middle School starting next week!!

Zen: HUH?!!

Mihu: I came to your room to apologize last night but you were asleep and as I was going to leave, I saw your SECRET DIARY and I couldn't help but read it.

Zen: YOU READ IT?!

Mihu: That's not the point here. After reading it, I realized  that you don't have any friends. You never went to a school and you hardly find anyone around your age. Everyone is too formal with you. You were very lonely all this time.

Zen: Yeah... but!

Mihu: It won't happen again! Now you'll go to a real school, make real friends and be happy! I'm so excited! You'll bring your friends home and I'll make food for them and *GASP* Maybe you'll find a pretty girl friend too whom you'll bring home for my approval! You better have good choice bro!

Zen: This is so embarrassing.. 

Mihu: Hey,.... are you happy?

Zen: ...I...I AM!!

Mihu: I'm so glad..... Oh!and I didn't know that you were scared of DUCKS.

Zen: You even read THAT?!!!

Mihu: I read all of it.

Zen: How could you?! It's my private property!!

Mihu: Yeah but what's your's is mine too. That's what siblings are right?

Zen:YOU!! ..... never mind.....*GIVES UP*

Mihu: *GIGGLES*

Hiro: The lunch break is over. You better go back to class. *Leaves*

Mihu: Yeah, He's right! See you!!

Zen: Yeah!

Zen's thoughts: I'm so glad... AND EXCITED!!! I'm finally going to school!!!

Hiro's thoughts: As usual... she is something else...... Someone amazing.....

Mihu's thoughts: I hope he's happy...... I was wrong, I shouldn't have ignored him like that.... IDIOT ME!!! But now he's gonna have what he deserves. I'm sure he'll make loads of friends. I'm glad... But I really do hope that I can be more responsible from now on.... I must! As a sister, princess and friend!
