A few days later...

Mihu and her friends are attending their spells class. They are taking a test. 

While they are solving the test, Nagisa throws a paper ball at Mihu.

Mihu looks at her. Nagisa whispers.

Nagisa: What was the name of the wizard who created warrior spells?

Mihu whispers back: It was your grandfather!

Nagisa: Oh right!

Ayumi: Mihu, what is the answer of question 5?

Mihu: Here you go.

Mihu shows her her test.

Karasuma: Mihu Wistalia!

Mihu: Y..Yes sir?! 

She stands up.

Karasuma: I suppose you realize what you just did?

Mihu: Yes.....?

She looks at her feet.

Karasuma: *Sigh* Well I can't blame you. You just happen to be too kind and can't help it. I forgive you this time but I hope you won't do it again.

Mihu: Yes sir.

Karasuma: Take a seat and YOU THREE! (Including Yumi) Minus 5 from each of your tests.

Nagisa: What?! Nooooo!!!!

Karasuma: Oh sorry, Minus 10 for you Miss Komino.

Nagisa: Great! Happy? Stupid mouth!

After the test:

The girls are walking out of the class.

Nagisa: This is so not fair!

Ayumi: Well...technically it is...

Yumi: You betcha girl! But it's okay because me and Ayumi add up our marks and then show them to our parents!

They do the fist bump.

Lily: That's convenient...

Lesha: Nagisa, you should not cheat during a test.

Nagisa: I wasn't cheating.....I was....... asking Mihu to remind me the answer !

Lily: And that's different from cheating, How?

Ayumi: Hey, speaking of which.... What's wrong with Mihu?

Mihu's like;

Lesha: Mihu, what's wrong?

Mihu: It's all because of me......

Lily: What's because of you?

Mihu begins to cry out loud and clings to Nagisa, Ayumi and Yumi.

Mihu: It's my fault that you all are going to lose those marks!!! If I hadn't told you those answers, it would have never happened!!!! I was being so stupid! But I couldn't help it!!!! I'm so sorrrrryyyy!!!! 

Everyone bursts out laughing.

Mihu: Why.... are you laughing?...

Ayumi: You haven't really helped someone in a test before , have you?

Mihu: No. Why you ask?

Nagisa: It's okay Mihu. It wasn't your fault. This is pretty normal. We get into these kinda situations all the time.

Mihu: It's... normal? You...aren't mad at me?

Yumi: Of course not you silly! Don't get so worked up about it!

Mihu: *SIGH* That's a relief...

Lily: You're weird...

Just then, the guys appear.

Hisato: Hey girls, what's up?!

Karma: Heard you got caught cheating during the test, eh Nagi? ~~~~

Nagisa: Don't call me Nagi! And it was all a misunderstanding!

Hisato: Yeah, as if we'll believe THAT!

Nagisa: Lesha! Karma's teasing me!~~~~~

Lesha: Stop it you Karma.

Karma: And what about Hisato?!

Just then, Hisato sees Hiro at some distance.

Hisato: Hey Hiro!

Hiro looks at him and walks to them.

Karma: Hey, dude!

Hiro: Hi.

Ayumi: I know! Lets have lunch together today. Hiro, you can join us too!

Yumi: Great idea!

Ayumi and Yumi's thoughts: He's CUTE!! That expressionless face is something else!!

Lesha: Agreed. 

Hiro: I don't know....

Hiro's thoughts: She has been ignoring me since that day....May be I was too harsh....

Nagisa: It's okay! Come on, you know you want to!!

Hiro: Okay...

Karma: Lets go then. 

Everyone begins to walk towards the cafeteria except Mihu. Lily looks back at Mihu. Everyone stops as well.

Lily: Aren't you coming? 

Mihu: I..I'm sorry guys. I can't , I have something to do...

Nagisa: Come on! You can do whatever it is later!

Mihu: I can't. I'm sorry!

Saying this, she turns and leaves.

Ayumi and Yumi at the same time: What's wrong with her?

Nagisa: No idea...

Mihu's thoughts: I... just don't want to see him! I was right, I really do hate him! I'm not weak... I'll show him!!

Hiro's thoughts: She must be really mad...Should I go and apologize? 

Hiro: I'm sorry. I can't have lunch with you either.

Saying this, he begins to follow Mihu.

Hisato: Hey!

Lesha: Hisato, don't.

Karma: Seems like something's going on between those two.

Nagisa: Mihu has been ignoring him for a while... I wonder if those two got into a fight....

Ayumi and Yumi: *SIGH* Love...

Lesha: Stop it you two! Do you even realize what you're saying?!

Ayumi: Hey, calm down.

Yumi: Yeah. We were just kidding.

Nagisa: Lesha's right. Don't go saying stuff like this. If someone hears then Mihu will be in trouble. Hiro is a vampire after all.

Ayumi: Okay...

Lily: But are you sure those two are only friends?

Nagisa: *SIGH* I hope so....

Hiro finally catches up with Mihu as she opens the door to the roof top. Students don't usually go there. 

Mihu: Why are you following me?!

Hiro: Hey, calm down. I just want to talk.

Mihu: Really? Well I don't!

Mihu tries to leave and get away from him but he holds her arm and pulls her back.

Mihu: Let go of me!

Hiro: I want you to listen to me!

Mihu: Fine! Say it!

Hiro: *SIGH* You surely take a lot of my energy...

Mihu: That's what you wanted to tell me?

Hiro: No. I wanted to apologize. I was harsh that day. I should have said it nicely.

Mihu: So you still think that you were right?

Hiro: I won't lie, I do. 

Mihu: Listen, it doesn't matter how you say it, if you think I am weak then your way of saying it won't change anything. I have already decided to SHOW YOU how strong I am.

Hiro: Mihu, I don't think you're weak. All I am trying to say is that you are burdening yourself with too much responsibility. You can't do everything on your own.

Mihu: Since when did YOU start worrying about that? Whatever I do in my life has nothing to do with you. If I want to take this burden then you have no right to stop me.

Hiro: You might be right but... if you keep doing this, you'll lose everything you have.

Mihu: Things I have?.....What do you even know about me?! I have nothing!! I lost everything I had! What can I possibly lose now?!!!

Hiro: So you mean that your brother and friends, your home, your school, they are nothing to you?

Hiro's thoughts: Wish I could add myself in this list but I really am nothing to her...

Mihu's eyes widen as tears fill them.

Hiro: You have more than you think. Hatred, pain and being stuck in the past has made you blind. I just want to save you from losing everything in this darkness that fills your heart.

Mihu was speechless.

Mihu's thoughts: What's wrong with me?! Why can't I come up with an answer?! Is he right?! Am I still lost in that past? Am I wrong?......No... if that's true then all I have been living for up till now was just a lie?! My life...was a lie?

Mihu pulls her hand away from him and runs away.

Hiro's thoughts: I said too much... She'll probably over think all this....Why can't our conversations be normal?! It's better if I stay away from her.

After the lunch break, everyone returns to their class.

The class begins. Hiro looks around but Mihu isn't there. Nagisa walks to him.

Nagisa: Hiro, where's Mihu?

Hiro: I don't know.

Lily: Weren't you with her during the break?

Hiro: Only for a little while.

Nagisa: Okay.

She goes and sits back on her seat.

Nagisa's thoughts: Mihu... what's going on here?

Hiro's thoughts: I wonder if she'll be okay...

After a little while, they all hear a large sound like that of a blast.

A student: What was that?!

Lesha: Seems like a blast!

Teacher: Calm down all of you! I'll investigate. Be seated and don't move! Nagisa, make sure no one leaves this room!

Nagisa stands up.

Nagisa: Yes Máam!

The teacher leaves.

After a few more minutes, a servant comes in.

Servant: The principal requests you all to evacuate to the basement. The vampires have sent their monsters, the school is under attack.

Students:     Oh no! What now?! Where are the teachers?! We are in trouble!

Nagisa: Everyone! Calm down. The teachers are fighting the enemy right now so, Please head to the basement silently and peacefully.

The students leave immediately.

(Only the seniors, i.e; fourth year students are to fight alongside the teachers if the school is attacked but Nagisa and others are still only in second year.)

Once everyone leaves, Nagisa's friends walk to her.

Karma: There's no way I'm going to hide.

Lesha: But what if teachers get mad?

Nagisa: I'm the student council president. There's absolutely no way I'll hide. We are doing this! 

Ayumi: Right!

Yumi: More is better anyways.

Hisato looks at Hiro who's still sitting in his seat looking outside the window.

Hisato: What about you? This might be your chance to earn a little trust.

Hiro looks at him with a cold face.

Hiro: You don't need me. 

Hisato: Very well. Lets go!

They all leave.

They finally reach the place where the enemy attacked.

There is a giant dragon like creature with many small ones like it.

Karasuma sees them and runs to them.

Karasuma: I thought you were told to go to basement! Why are you all here?!

Nagisa: This is our school too. We can't hide!

Karasuma: This is no joke! You all might be strong but you have minimum fighting experience! 

Karam: But sir!

Karasuma: Leave at once! We can not afford the students to get hurt.

Lesha looks around.

Lesha: Sir, even the seniors are not fighting. It'd be dangerous.

Just then, the principle walks to them.

Principle: Karasuma, let them fight. We need help . We are getting rusty with the years after all.

Ayumi: Come to think of it....

Yumi: How old are you anyways?

Lily: Is that really one of our concerns right now?

Karasuma: Okay then. Miss Ayuzawa, go and heal the students who got hurt. You too Inuzaka!

Lily and Karma: Right!

They leave.

Karasuma: Rest of you, follow my lead. We need to defeat the largest monster that's in the middle. The small ones will disappear if we succeed.

Nagisa and others: Yes sir!

Nagisa casts a spell and her staff appears as she transforms.

Lesha does the same.

Hisato, Ayumi and yumi bring out their weapons too.

With this, they all advance towards the giant monster.

Nagisa catches up with her teacher.

Nagisa: Sir, that monster...

Karasuma: Is here for the princess? I'm afraid it is.

Nagisa: Is she safe?

Karasuma: We can't find her.... If I'm not wrong, she'll appear in a little while to fight it if she's okay that is...

Nagisa: I see...

Nagisa's thoughts: I know she's okay! Now all we can do is wait for her...
