We regret to inform you all that someone from an unknown location has trapped you all in CyberSpace by hacking into your CyberBands. We ask you politely to keep your Cyberbands safe along with yourselves. You can't kill anyone and you must make sure not to die because if any of those things happen, your minds will be erased. We will try everything in our power to set you free.
Until then, don't do anything stupid.

"Oh my God." Cobalt gasped in horror. "Why is this happening? Why are we trapped here in CyberSpace? Who hacked the Cyberbands?" All those questions kept running through his mind. He wanted answers but the more he tried to come up with one he found himself with even more questions than he had before.

"We're trapped in CyberSpace." That was when the cold hard truth hit him. "This is just like Aincrad. Sword Art Online just became real, wait... scratch that. This place is more like the grid so we're living a Tron movie. Oh my god! We're gonna die in a Tron wannabe world." As he said so he dropped down to the ground and started to quake in fear. He was scared, petrified. How was he going to escape? How was he going to leave to see Carly again? What was Carly going to do without him. Worry and anxiety filled his thoughts as he stayed in that one spot, not moving at all.

"Are you kidding?" Wyatt asked all flabbergasted as he was speaking on the phone. Rebecca called to tell him about the bad news. "Okay. I'll tell Carly. Just make sure this doesn't get out to the news." He told his sister before hanging up the phone.

"What's wrong?" Carly asked with a worried look as she was inspecting Wyatt's own worried face. He walked out to the back yard and she followed him since she figured out he did so to avoid her.

"Wyatt, what's wrong?" She asked him, more seriously now. She could tell something bad happened and that he was staying away so that she wouldn't find out. Sadly he knew there was no avoiding this so he took a breath before telling her the truth. "That was Rebecca... someone hacked into every Cyberband in the world and trapped everyone in CyberSpace... Including Axle." He bluntly told her.

All the CyberHuman could do was look at him in a confused manner, almost as if she was in denial, which she was. She didn't even think of this happening, not to Axle at least. Sadly this wasn't the case.

"You're kidding me right?" She asked. "Very funny joke." She fake laughed. His face didn't change. She eventually gave up trying to convince herself Axle was still okay when she saw that look in Wyatt's eyes and tears began to well up inside her own orbs. "Can they get him out?"

"So far, no. This is a hack that's beyond Rebecca's understanding. Could be months, even years before she finds a way to free all the users." The military veteran told the CyberHuman. Those words just shattered her.

She couldn't hold anything back anymore. She let it all go. She allowed the flood gates to open as she fell to her knees. She was crying, hard. The emotions she was feeling were pain, grief and sadness. She cried because Axle was trapped in CyberSpace. She cried because she couldn't tell him how she felt. She cried knowing that she'd never get the chance to tell Axle how in love with him she was. She was insanely in love with him and now he was never going to know.

She tried to resurrect the feelings that Axle once held for her but she failed. She was never going to tell him now. If only he had listened to her and stayed away from CyberSpace. If only he had stayed with her. He was practically dead now. She couldn't move.

"You really love him don't you?" Wyatt asked. "I can tell he hasn't completely gotten over you Carly. I'm sure he's doing what he can in there to survive and get back to you." Wyatt told her trying to reassure her.

"I just want him back. I wish he never did that. Why'd he have to go do it? I don't care if he'd get a hundred million out of this stupid beta test... I just want my Axle home." She said as the tears refused to stop flowing out. Her eyes were all red and blotchy. This was worse than when he got shot by Spike. Worse than when he almost lost his life in surgery. Worse than the pain she felt as she watched his mental torture. Worse than when Laura and Melanie got shot due to her moment of weakness.

This was the most painful moment she had ever experienced. The love of her life was trapped in a place that could very well be his tomb.

Axle...

Her Axle was trapped in CyberSpace, with no way out and no way to survive the elements within the beta version of CyberSpace.
