Chapter 4: Who Are You Axle?

A whole week has passed since Carly met Axle and his sister, Laura. Surprisingly she wasn't discovered by their parents during that time. Regardless, she still had to stay in Axle's room and she herself did her best to try and stay unseen by people other than Axle and Laura.

Axle had his room locked and curtains closed with the windows. He left her some snacks and food along with some drinks. Axle had to go out to school to for the day and Carly had to go back to classes at college. Axle would be the first to come back and Carly waited. It was clear that she didn't want to wait but she had to. Especially since she ran away from a certain place. The place she came from. So right now as the saying goes, 'beggars can't be choosers'. She had no right to protest after Axle and Laura provided her a safe place to live.

She felt uneasy so she debated on whether she should talk to Axle about her situation or not. It was puzzling. How do you tell the guy who gave you a place to live that you're uncomfortable with the conditions he created for you? She laid on Axle's bed and sighed. What was she going to do and how the hell could Axle help her? She was confused, and naturally frustration came to compliment that confusion.

Axle was forced to leave his phone behind. Because of this Carly took it and somehow bypassed the password on his phone. In all honesty she had no trouble but Axle shouldn't know that so she'd have to keep this secret.

"Who are you Axle Ryder?" she said to herself before going through Axle's phone to find out more about him. Curiosity took over her as she was exploring the contents of the device in her hands. While doing so she learned some interesting things.

What she learned was that Axle was a heavy gamer, not just a regular one as she depicted, and he was one of the best in the world. Now she realised why his pride was shattered whenever she'd beat him and why he'd demand a rematch against her whenever he would lose against her. He was a gaming prodigy and he still flunks math. He was into any type of game that wasn't for kids.

She kept looking and found out that he likes eating pizza and he's a big fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers. His favourite turtle, Raphael and favorite transformer, Bumblebee.

He had only three contacts and they consisted of three people named Stacy, Mac and Kyle. She looked at all the messages on his phone and she realised that these people were Axle's online friends from the games he used to play. He clearly didn't have any friends in real life but it made her happy to know that he had friends regardless.

She learned enough about Axle and she made a choice to keep this to herself. Carly was feeling something new, she just wasn't sure what it was.

Hey there fellow Bombers, I am sorry that the chapter was short. I just had to end it there. I felt that if I had to push further it would just end up crappy. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading Cyber so far and I'll try to update my stories more.
