Chapter 27: Footage

Okay, as far as I can see, he's running on tech and now there's only two weaknesses that he has to have...

One is that I can use an electromagnetic pulse to shut down every bit of circuitry in his body. Once that dies, his organic organs will seize function and die too, killing him in the process.

My second option is that I find some carbex to break his body. Only thing that can break something strong is the same thing or something even stronger than that. Diamond rules are applied here obviously, that and the giant robot from Incrdibles.

All those things were what Axle thought. Figuring out Eight Thirty Two's weakness wasn't the problem here... it was how he'd get what he needed. He had no carbex weapons nor did he have access to any EMP devices. That complicates things for him.

The worst part of it all is that his head was still exposed, so one blow from the CyberHuman and he was history. So in dummy terms, Axle was screwed and there was little to no chance he was going to come out alive.

Only one thing I can do... guerilla hit and run tactics. Guerilla warfare... now I'm gonna show this son of a bitch why I've been named the Crimson Gorilla. The gamer thought while smirking.

"Finally accepted your fate Ryder?" Eight Thirty Two asked. "Far from it you motherfucker." Is what Axle said before running off into the tunnels. "You can run but you can't hide kid!! I will find you!!" Grey yelled before his head started to shake, almost as if it were glitching.

After Carly brutally murdered Thompson, she was able to track down Axle's trail. She followed the blood trail thinking it was Axle's and if it wasn't Axle's blood, Axle could've been following it himself. She kept walking until she came across the empty elevator shaft. She pushed a button and waited for the elevator but nothing came. It must've been out of service. Since that was the case she chose to open the elevator doors and when she did she found the cables and slid down one of them.

When she made it to the lab she found it in ruins that it became after Eight Thirty Two wiped the floor with Axle. "What the hell happened here?"

She looked around and found Grey's corpse and noticed the empty skull. "Oh crap." She immediately realised what happened. From experience, she knew that Grey turned himself into a CyberHuman. CyberHuman Eight Thirty Two. If Axle followed Grey then he was in a lot of trouble.

She looked around the lab and found signs of a battle. The CyberHuman gasped hoping, no, praying that Axle wasn't fighting him. She headed over to the monitors and sighed with relief that they weren't damaged.

She played the video footage and she wasn't pleased by what she saw.

"Are you sure you wanna go through with this General? The body isn't ready yet." Bernstein asked Grey while informing him about the risks.

"I need Ryder dead and this is the quickest way I can do that."

She sped up the recording and found out how Bernstein transplanted the general's brain into the android's body. She continued to speed it up to when Grey woke up and she was shocked to see him looking exactly like Axle. Only difference was his blonde hair and red eyes.

"Oh my God... this is just sick." She gasped. She sped it up by a few minutes and watched as Axle walked in.

"Grey... hold on, where's his brain?"

Axle said that noticing the general's literal empty head.

"Looking for me, boy?" A voice asked from within the darkness. It sounded weird, as if he heard himself. He turned to see Eight Thirty Two. "Miss me?" The CyberHuman asked.

"Can't be... Grey?" Axle asked. "General Simon Grey is dead... what you see before you is CyberHuman Eight Thirty Two."

"Simon?" Axle asked as he tried to stop his laughter. "You can't be serious... how can a bastard like you be called Simon... what? Were your parents huge Alvin and the Chipmunks fans?" He laughed again. "You probably have two brothers name Alvin and Theodore. Hell, I bet your dad changed his name to Dave." He let it all out as he was unable to hold back any of the laughter.

The smirk on Eight Thirty Two's face disappeared quickly. "That's it... I've had enough of that mouth of yours. Say goodbye Ryder." He growled before getting ready for an attack.

"Bring it Grey, this world isn't big enough for two Axles anyway." Axle said before grabbing onto the handgun that was near Grey's former body.

Axle stared at the the latest CyberHuman. This was CyberHuman Eight Thirty Two. It was a bit strange. Considering the fucked up shit he was forced to do and the person that Grey was, looking like the gamer just gave this situation a morbid outlook.

"Why me?" Axle asked. "Whatever you wanna know, there's no point in finding out... after all," Eight Thirty Two said, "Information is useless to a dead man." His smirk disappeared. "Time to die kid."

Axle prepared to fire but Eight Thirty Two moved quickly and swiftly. He swiped the gun from the teenager's hands and crushed it. "No toys left? Too bad." The CyberHuman said with a small smirk before punching Axle, forcing him to fly into a wall, before falling to the ground. He groaned in pain before and while he got up.

"Even in my old body I could still kick your ass. Where's that spunk Ryder? I thought you said you'd make it your personal mission to kill me." Grey told the teen as he approached him at a slow, mocking pace.

"Oh I didn't forget what I said you jackass." Axle said, still groaning from the immense pain.

"Strange, my endoskeleton is made out of Carbex and the armour that we wear is made of Carbex." Eight Thirty Two said. "This armour is so unnecessary, and I find it a bit redundant... but it's better to be safe than sorry."

He said before sliding to Axle's feet and grabbing his ankle, tripping him in the process. He got up, still holding Axle's ankle, and threw the teenage gamer into the elevator but on the way, in the air, Axle flew through the elevator door breaking it.

"Jesus Christ, Ryder... can't you at least just put up a fight?" Eight Thirty Two asked as he tried to stop himself from laughing. "Why don't you come here and see if I can?" Axle said.

"I'd like to kid, but you gotta drop below the basement." Eight Thirty Two went to make the elevator move further down than where it was supposed to be. It went so far that only half of the room could be seen from the inside. The CyberHuman jumped out and looked at the the cables.

"It was nice knowing you kid... but as good as that armour is, not even that will protect you from this." He said before severing the cables from elevator, making Axle plummet down the elevator shaft.

"And like that the pathetic gamer crashed." Eight Thirty Two said with some boredom in his voice.

She didn't want to lose hope, but what she saw... there was no way anyone could have survived that. She dropped down and she started to cry before wiping her tears away. She hated Grey even more than ever. He broke her mind twice, killed her family and the family of Axle and he went beyond the line to finish off Axle... her best friend. After crying, all Carly could see was red. She knew the weakness of a CyberHuman and she got up too look for any weapons that she could use.

The thing is that when she got up, she found one last piece of footage.

In the lab, Eight Thirty Two moved around for a bit. He walked toward the elevator shaft.

"First al-Qaida, then ISIS... now THIS?!!" The CyberHuman yelled out while he clenched his fists. All he did was yell before jumping down the shaft.

There's no way that Grey could've reacted like that. Not unless... a smile and a sigh of relief was created before Carly got her weapons ready. "Hang on Axle, I'm on my way."
