Chapter 26: Human VS CyberHuman (Part 2: Strength Serves as a Weakness)

Eight Thirty Two sent Axle to his fate. A death from plummeting fifty feet down the elevator shaft along with the internal injuries that he sustained. Down there was nothing but rubble and debris. Critical Damage. Critical Damage. That was all Axle could see other than the multiple cracks on his helmet.

Healing. Healing. The words kept repeating through Axle's visor. He was in the red zone, but he was still recovering at least there was a plus side to his rather grim situation. "Damn... why did this have to happen to me?" he groaned in pain. "Looks like the game is real." He said as he was trying to dig himself out of the debris from the crash.

"No extra lives, if I die here... it's game over, and there's no way I can boost my HP to full again, not in this fight." He groaned as he continued to claw out of what could be his tomb.

In the lab, Eight Thirty Two moved around until he heard the sound of rocks and metal moving against each other. Those sounds were no mere sounds. They were the sounds of Axle trying to dig his way out of the debris from the crash. If he didn't have his enhanced hearing, this would've been over already. It then clicked, those sounds meant there was a live body down there.

His eyes grew wide and nothing but anger could be seen within those crimson eyes. He snarled as he walked toward the elevator shaft, he looked down and scanned for any life signs. What he found pissed him off to the greatest degree. This was record breaking since Axle was the only person to actually make Grey see red.

"First al-Qaida, then ISIS... now THIS?!!" The CyberHuman yelled out while he clenched his fists. All he did was yell before jumping down the elevator shaft. He was through, we wasn't going to let Axle die a quick death, clearly the kid was resourceful enough to escape that. No, he had other plans, a slow and painful death for the gamer that became the bane of his existence.

"I think I see some light." Axle said as he continued to claw his way out of the rubble. What the teenage gamer didn't know however, was that there was an angry CyberHuman waiting to kill him as soon as he got out. If only someone could warn him of his impending doom, sadly it was just him, the debris and Eight Thirty Two.

This whole time, as he watched the boy claw his way out into 'freedom' he stayed silent. Waiting patiently for the teen who became the bane to his existence. He wanted Axle dead and nothing could sway his mind from this decision. Axle was constantly driving a wedge between his plans. First with meeting Eight Thirty One, second with killing a member of Cyber Ops, third with all the damage and casualties he recently created. All these reasons just made savoring Axle's demise all the more sweeter for Grey.

As soon as the teen in question came out, Eight Thirty Two quickly grabbed him by the neck and threw him into a concrete tunnel that was behind them both. He watched as Axle tumbled around as he landed roughly on the ground. Grey so slowly walked toward Axle before saying, "You'd think an elevator crashing down from fifty feet above the ground we stand on would be enough to kill you, looks like that wasn't enough." Axle scoffed as he looked Grey dead in the eye.

"You can't kill what's already dead Grey." Axle said as he slowly got back up... How am I gonna win this? He's a CyberHuman... just how the-... wait!! His strength... cybernetic enhancements, He has tech in that body... It's mostly tech so that's his weakness.

Axle grinned in thought. The grin quickly turned into a smirk before Eight Thirty Two ran and kicked him up. He delivered a tornado kick to Axle's head, shattering the gamer's helmet in the process. Axle's smirk disappeared and was quickly replaced by a look of fear and pain.

"Now then... all I need to do to kill you now is just flick your forehead, nice and easy." The CyberHuman said with a sick sadistic grin on his face.

"My weakness may be easily seen by a blind man, but it doesn't keep you safe considering that I know what your weakness is." Axle said as he got up again, getting ready to run away from Grey.

Grey chuckled. That chuckling turned into full blown laughter. "Are you serious kid? My body is made out of Carbex and so is my armour! What weakness do YOU of all people think I have?!"

"I won't tell... just know that I know how to kill you Grey. You're not getting out alive." Axle said glaring daggers at the CyberHuman whom he promised to kill.
