Carly was currently running through one of the corridors. Guilt was moving through her mind, overwhelming it. She couldn't do anything to get rid of it. She knew what Grey and Bernstein wanted Axle for, she didn't want him to suffer the same fate as her... he's been through enough as it is. From losing his family, to getting bullied his entire life, to losing her and his hope and will to live. She couldn't handle Axle losing his humanity as well.

She was human once, which would explain how a bot like her was able to feel emotion and possess the ability to choose. She was killed and turned into a CyberHuman. She lot her parents just because the two bastards wanted a new test subject.

She already detested Grey and Bernstein for all the torture that she was forced to endure, but now she was going to end them for what they did to Axle and for what they were going to to do to him.

"You know, this is all messed up. I feel sorry for you kid." The guard told Axle as they were walking toward his cell. "If it's so messed up, why do you keep working here?" Axle asked with no emotion left at all in his voice.

"Guys like me can't find jobs so easily. I had to take what I could get to help provide for my family." He said as he answered the lifeless teen. "And listen, I don't blame you for my cousin's death... I predicted anyone would do something like that to someone who broke into their house."

"Thanks for that, I guess... I'm sorry about your cousin. Not a day goes by where I don't regret what I did." Axle said as he apologized. He was sad and he did regret what happened. At least he had a chance to apologise to a relative of the man who he had murdered.

"It's okay kid." The man said with a bitter smile.

"Let go of the prisoner soldier... I've been ordered to take him to the professor's lab." A female voice said from the back. The two looked behind to see Carly, better known there as Eight Thirty One.

"Okay. He's all yours." The soldier said as Axle walked slowly toward Carly.

"Walk prisoner." She said in a harsh tone as they moved before the guard was out of sight. Axle was suspicious because she may have used a harsh tone of voice but it was still a tone of voice that wasn't blank and emotionless. Carly looked around and broke the handcuffs that he was now wearing.

"What's happening?" Axle asked in a depressed and confused tone while still refusing to look at the android. "If you're gonna kill me you should get it over with." He said before she slammed him against the wall and forced him to look at her.

When he looked her in the eyes, he could tell that something was different. His eyes, observing her facial expression. It was blank, which served as a perfect opportunity to take him by surprise.

She did the last thing he expected her to do, especially in this state. She kissed him, and it was a passionate one in fact. He didn't know what to do and he was rather waited out by the action.

It lasted for about five seconds before she moved her face away from his. "Carly?" He asked hoping this wasn't a trick. "I saw the interrogation, I did not agree to be your girlfriend you dumbass." She said.

"I thought it wasn't... Wait, you remember who you are?" Axle said surprised.

"I remember everything Axle... I'm sorry." She said. Not only apologising for taking his reason to live and how much danger she put him and his family in, but for failing to at least save a single member.

"Don't be... besides you were tortured into becoming Eight Thirty One right?" Axle said.

"Yeah, but I'm also sorry about your-" Axle cut her off by placing his index finger on her lips.

"Don't, I already swore to kill Grey. It's one thing to kill my family and blow up my house with the addition to torturing my girlfriend, but it's another thing to make me eat their remains and take her away from me completely."

"Sorry though... you've been through way too much right now. And I still didn't agree to be your girlfriend." Carly said. "You didn't have to. Your heart says it all." He said as he leaned in to kiss her. "Not so fast Ryder." Carly said placing her index finger on his lips, preventing him from kissing her.

"Come on... we have to go." She said before leading him to Bernstein's lab. Grey and Bernstein ruined their lives, now it's time for payback.
