The training area buzzed with energy as your group prepared for the session. Namjoon was already waiting, his expression serious. The tension between him and Jungkook was high, a silent challenge hanging in the air.

You noticed Namjoon's eyes narrowing slightly as he watched Jungkook, distrust in his gaze.

"Alright," Namjoon said, his tone clipped. "Let's see what you've got."

Jin watched with keen interest as Jungkook squared off against Yoongi first. Despite his injury, Jungkook moved with precision and agility, using his right arm to its full potential.

Yoongi circled Jungkook, eyes sharp. Jungkook responded with a quick step forward, aiming a low kick that Yoongi narrowly dodged. They exchanged blows, Jungkook blocking with his right arm while avoiding using his left shoulder. With a swift, calculated move, Jungkook spun and hooked Yoongi's leg, bringing him to the ground and disarming him in one fluid motion.

Yoongi looked up at Jungkook, a smirk playing on his lips. "Not bad, pretty boy," he said, there was a glint of respect in his eyes.

Jungkook offered a hand to help him up. "Thanks, Yoongi. Maybe next time, try not to go easy on me."

Yoongi smirked as he got to his feet, dusting off his clothes. "Easy? That was me holding back. You wouldn't stand a chance otherwise."

Next up was Jin. He threw a series of punches, which Jungkook expertly deflected. Jungkook moved with grace and speed, delivering a roundhouse kick that Jin barely blocked. They grappled, and Jungkook used a judo flip to send Jin to the mat.

Jin laughed, clapping Jungkook on the back as he got up. "You've got some serious moves, man. With skills like that, we might just stand a chance."

Jungkook grinned. "Hope so."

Finally, it was Namjoon's turn. The atmosphere grew tense as they faced each other, both determined to prove their worth. You knew that Namjoon was a strong opponent, always powerful and precise. Jungkook matched him blow for blow, using his agility to counter Namjoon's strength.

You watched anxiously, your heart in your throat.

Please, let this end without anyone getting hurt.

Namjoon lunged forward, aiming a punch at Jungkook's torso. Jungkook dodged, countering with a high kick that Namjoon blocked. They continued this intense back-and-forth, neither giving an inch. Jungkook's movements were fluid, his martial arts skills on display as he executed a series of swift kicks and punches.

The match ended in a draw, both men panting and sweating. Namjoon's eyes narrowed as he studied Jungkook.

"You're good," Namjoon admitted grudgingly. "Maybe too good. If you ever dream of betraying the resistance, I'll make sure you regret it."

Jungkook nodded, his expression calm. "I know."

You bristled at Namjoon's words. "Namjoon, that's enough."

He shot you a look.

Jungkook placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "It's okay, y/n. He's just looking out for everyone."

You sighed, frustration simmering beneath the surface.

If only Namjoon would see that Jungkook isn't the enemy.

"You okay?" Jungkook asked, concern in his voice.

You looked at him, managing a weary smile. "I'm fine."

He made the "I'm watching you" gesture and you chuckled.

"Guys, anyone wants a sparring match with the Queen of combat?" You suggested sarcastically, rolling your shoulders to ease the tension.

Yoongi, overhearing, chimed in with a smirk. "Sure, why not? I could use more exercise."

You squared off with Yoongi, feeling the familiar thrill of competition despite your fatigue.

Giving you a low bow, he smirked, "My queen."

You scoffed, and the two of you began circling each other, trading light jabs and kicks. Yoongi moved with a confidence of a cat.

As you sparred, you couldn't help but notice Jungkook watching you intently from the sidelines. His gaze was focused, admiring, and it made your heart skip a beat.

Your distraction proved costly.

Yoongi seized the moment, delivering a swift punch that connected with your stomach—not too forcefully, but enough to send you stumbling back.

Shit.

The impact knocked the wind out of you, and pain radiated through your torso. You clutched your stomach, gasping for breath as a sharp ache spread, your body momentarily doubled over in shock.

Anger and embarrassment flushed through you, mingling with the physical discomfort. You straightened up, forcing yourself to stand tall despite the lingering pain.

Jungkook was at your side in an instant. His eyes widened with worry as he reached out, gently steadying you. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice soft and filled with genuine care. His brow furrowed, and he looked so earnest and endearing that you couldn't help but smile, despite the pain.

You winced, rubbing your stomach. "I'm fine. But it's your fault."

Jungkook blinked, confused. "My fault? How?"

Both Yoongi and Jin chuckled, enjoying the moment. "She's saying you distracted her with your staring, lover boy," Yoongi teased, earning a laugh from Jin.

Jungkook looked adorably perplexed. "I was just... making sure she was okay."

You couldn't stay mad at him, not with that cute expression on his face. You sighed, your anger melting away. "Just... try not to be so distracting next time," you said, a hint of a smile tugging at your lips.

"O-okay. Got it," Jungkook replied, still looking somewhat bewildered but relieved you weren't seriously hurt.

Your training was interrupted by the arrival of a resistance member, you didn't recognize. Breathless he handed a folder of documents to Namjoon. "We have new intel."
