I woke up early in the morning (I had to if I wanted my plan to work out). I went over to the bathroom and slithered layers on top of layers of lipstick.

Then I put on one of my most flattering outfits (which showed a lot of skin). Then I put my hair up into a pony tail and teased my hair just so it would look perfect.

I went over to the kitchen and grabbed a banana and headed out the door I was pretty sure I looked ridiculous and that wasn't what I was going for but it was close enough.

I walked to school starting to feel very insecure. Then I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I took it out and it was a text from Jake saying:

Jake: Look behind you

I turned around and saw him. His beautiful blue eyes staring at me, it felt as if he was staring into my soul. I looked at my shoes starting to feel uncomfortable.

"You still look beautiful Ella" Jake whispered making the butterflies in my stomach flutter even faster.

I walked into the school with my head held high feeling confident.

(Authors note: It might get pretty weird but you'll understand later)

Next thing I knew I was slammed against the locker not by Jessica or those stupid jocks but by Jake. He he pressed his lips against mine and we kissed for what seemed like hours. Then I pushed him away when Jessica walked by.

"Aw your showing your true colors" Jessica said with a huge smirk on her face. My plan was going perfect so far. "So where do where do you all those condoms?" That. Was. It. I wasn't gonna stand saying nothing so I screamed at the top of my lungs "If you even knew what slut meant you wouldn't be using that word! This was just a little trick to mess with your head and prove to you that I'm not a slut but you took this too far! If anything I only like one guy! And that guy is Jake! Okay?!" All you could hear were gasps from the crowd of people.

I stormed away and I could hear people snickering behind me. I ran out of the school I ran, and ran. I stopped at a small park that I had never seen before. There were no benches so I sat on a swing. I rocked myself back and forth slowly trying to calm myself down. Then I looked down and saw that I was even hugging myself.

It was like this for a while until I heard footsteps approaching. I looked up to see Jake. How did I get such a great friend like him?

"Hey. Um... I heard what you said over there" Oh crud, "and I wanted to say that I kind of... Sort of... Like you." He said. I felt my heart pumping in my chest and it sounded like I was about to explode. I took a deep breath and said "Well maybe we could be... Maybe just more than friends." Why did I just say that?! "Okay then. Ella do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He said with excitement in his voice.

"Yes" I replied I mean right now wasn't the perfect time to ask but I was afraid that this was the only time he would ask. Then it was just awkward silence.

"So let's get back I guess" I said trying to break the silence. He got up and so did I and we headed back to school together.

I didn't feel like going back to any of my classes but on the way to school Jake suggested that we tell the principal.

So we went into the office and told him EVERYTHING. From the beginning to the end. He called Jessica over from art. The principal told her that thus could all be fixed by telling him the truth and apologizing. But like the brat she was she refused and said that she would call the police if he told her to do anything else.

But thankfully the principal suspended her for three whole days. But after those three days it appeared that Jessica had spent them all begging her parents to take her to new school so now she's off at who knows where. So that's what happened. And I swear to god I will not touch another device again.
