Home Alone

AN: Decided that I will update on Saturdays and maybe Sundays. That way, I can write and edit it.

"Delilah, I have to work late tonight. Do you think you can behave yourself this time?" My mother called from the kitchen.

Last time she had worked late, almost getting off work at two in the morning, I had found myself attempting to end the pain that had entered my life. She found me in the bathroom with slit wrists. (That's a story for another time.)

"Yeah," I hollered back, rolling my eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me, young lady. I am your mother!" She yelled again.

How the hell did she know I rolled my eyes?

My mother came walking into the kitchen where I had made my sandwich and was eating it.

"Clean up after yourself when you're done." She said to me as she walked to the door. Before I could reply she had walked out, locking the door on her way.

"Mhmm, you too."

"Let's see..." I murmured to myself as I crouched in front of the entertainment center. "Which horror film should I watch tonight?"

My eyes skimmed over films about zombie survival to vampire films and landed upon the Saw series. I hummed to myself and considered watching the first few movies. What the hell, I thought as I grabbed the first one and put it into the DVD player.

I dimmed the lights and made myself comfortable on the couch. I glanced at the clock. 9:53. Perfect horror film time.

I found myself sinking further into the couch as the movie went on. It was near complete darkness in the house, the only light came from the TV screen. Paranoia settled into my bones as the movie progressed to the part within Adam's home.

He was a photographer. His house was, naturally, going to be dark. Adam was developing some of his films when he heard what sounded like someone in his apartment. I clutched my pillow tighter every camera flash. As Pigface was illuminated by the last camera flash, hands grasped my shoulders.

I thrashed and screamed. I flailed off the couch and threw the pillow in the direction that the hands were.

That's when I heard the laughing. Wait, I know that laugh.

"Damn it, Liv!" I yelled, getting my breath back. "The fuck? Why would you do that?" I sprawled put on the floor.

"I just, I just thought it would be hilarious." Liv managed to say around her laughter. She collapsed onto the couch and kept laughing. I glared up at her as I grabbed her ankles and pulled her down to the ground with me.

"Gah, Dee!" She shrieked as I began to tickle her relentlessly. "S-stop! Sweet Angel of mercy!"

"Nope. Not going to unless you say uncle!" I kept up my relentless tickling.

"U-u-uncle!" Liv tried to grab my hands. "Uncle! Uncle!"

I pulled my hands away and her laughter died down.

"Dude, how did you get in the house?" I asked her as she calmed down.

"I've dated you for almost two months now, dude." Liv nudged me with her elbow. "I know where you keep the spare key."

"Oh yeah. That's right." The movie was completely forgotten as I settled against the couch with Liv between my legs.

"We've been on five or six dates, made out a million times, almost had sex twice." She wiggled her eyebrows at me. I nudged her with my leg.

"Don't be getting any ideas, babe." I said as I ran my fingers though her hair as she nestled into my chest.

"I'm not." Liv's breath warmed my cheek. "I would be if we were in your room, though."

"Let's change that." I quickly stood up and pulled Liv with me. I changed my mind about wanting to wait as I dragged Liv up to my room.

AN: So, uh, yeah. Next chapter has some stuff in it. If you're uncomfortable with sexy times, skip it. If you don't mind it or of you like it, read on.
