AN: Holy shit. I haven't updated for four days. FOUR DAYS! I feel bad. On the Brightside, I am writing my first Supernatural fic. Yay! Thanks AhnaMacneil for the inspiration!

"Alright students!" Ms. Tanner's voice rang out, startling me. I heard Liv give out a quiet giggle. I nudged her with my elbow, only to get one in return.

"Today, we will discuss, drum roll please." Ms. Tanner drummed her hands on her lab table. Several students joined her, Liv and I included.

"Drum roll?" Liv asked me. I shrugged in response.

"She has is do this to get excited about what we're going to learn." Liv nodded in understanding.

Ms. Tanner stopped drumming and held up her hands, a sign that she wanted is to stop as well. A grin found it's way to Ms. Tanner's face.

"We are going to learn about serotonin!" She clapped her hands happily. "The chemical that the brain produces to make us happy!"

"Thank you serotonin." I muttered to myself. Liv, apparently, heard it and nodded her head in agreement.

"I don't want to see what Ms Tanner would be like if her brain wouldn't keep handing out serotonin like it was Skittles." Liv whispered to me. Now I was the one nodding my head.

"The formula for serotonin is C10H12N2O, which you will need to know." Ms Tanner spoke as she wrote it on the board. She began to draw out the molecule and labeled it.

"We will be doing some activities to see what will affect our mood levels." Ms Tanner walked over to her desk as she talked to grab some papers. She began to hand them down the rows. "You will be monitoring your partners mood at every lab station."

Liv and I received our papers and looked over them

"This'll be different but fun." Liv poked me in my cheek. I shrugged.

"Maybe." I said as I got up from my chair and pushed it in. Liv followed me, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Hey," she grabbed my arm. "You alright, Dee?"

"Yeah." I nodded my head slowly. "I'll be okay."

Seeing a sad look flicker over my face, Liv pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged her back, tears threating to show themselves. Laying my head on her shoulder, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Did you just smell me?" Liv asked, amusement behind the words. I shook my head.

"Nope. But you do smell nice." I said as I broke the hug. She playfully smacked my arm.

"So I've been told." She flipped her hair, tossing it behind her shoulders. "Now, let's go experiment."

After school had ended, I found myself arm in arm with Liv. We had fifteen minutes to be by ourselves before we reached home.

"So, you want to talk about anything?" she asked me as we walked.

"Well," I began. "It's my brother. His nurse, Gabriella, and his doctors say that he could be waking up soon."

"That's amazing, Dee!" She wrapped an arm around my shoulders, placing my head on her shoulder as we walked.

"I would love to meet him when he wakes up."

"I'm sure he would like to meet you too." I nudged her with my hip.

"So, anything else?" Liv asked, voice doused with concern.

"Um," I nuzzled her shoulder before speaking. "My mom and dad are thinking about getting back together. I think Gabriella is falling in love with Henry." I shrugged. "Stuff like that. Although, I actually ship Gabriella and Henry. They're cute together."

"Ship?" Liv questioned. I laughed at her.

"It's a fandom thing. You wouldn't understand." I poked her in the ribs, making her jump. Liv tightened her arm around my shoulders, effectively making me laugh.

"Ticklish much?" I teased. Liv's beautiful face blushed a brilliant crimson.

"I might be." We continued walking.

We laughed together until we reached our houses. I noticed that my mother's car wasn't in the drive way. Liv noticed that too.

"Your mom out meeting your dad?"

"Probably." I shrugged. "Want to come in?" I asked. Liv nodded vigorously.

"I'll take that as a yes." Unlocking the door, I held it open for her as she did for me the other day. "After you."

"Thank you, ma'am." Liv tipped and imaginary hat to me as she walked in.

"Make yourself at home." I have her a tour of the house, putting my things away in my room when we got there.

"Dude, nice room." Liv whistled as she looked around my room with awe on her face. (Hence the pic for the chapter)

"Thanks. My mom calls it the dorm."

"Would you like to do something sometime?" Liv suddenly blurted out.

I raised an eyebrow at her, curious as to see what she meant.

"Like a date?" I asked. Liv blushed again and nodded.

"Y-yeah, like a date." She messed with her fingers. "Would you like to go on one with me?"

"Yes." I smiled at her, earning a bright smile in return. "I would love to."

So, I'm sorry for the short chapter after four days of no updates. I had major Writer's Block on this chapter, but the next chapter is going to be up either Saturday or Sunday night. I would put it up tomorrow, but tomorrow night is going to help me write the next chapter. I'm going to Fear Fair with a few friends and that's what I'm basing their date off of. Ta Ta loves!
