TEN

Teddy woke up at 8:58, remembering the meeting. He shot up and ran to the other boys, waking them up and bringing them downstairs with him. He went up to Callie's dorm (You think he's Remus Lupin's son and he doesn't know how to get past a simple charm?) and woke her up.

Callie was not having it, so Teddy carried her to the ROR, giving her time to wake up.

James had his dad's cloak, so that's what they used to get to the ROR. It was quite uncomfortable, the four of them under the cloak. Brady prayed that Victoire hadn't been like them and actually remembered the meeting.

Once there, Brady walked past the wall three times before a door appeared. James rushed ahead and opened it, allowing the others to go in before looking around to make sure the coast was clear and going in himself.

There, not to their surprise, was Victoire, already waiting patiently in a French armchair. "It's about time you all got here!" She exclaimed, standing up when she seen them enter.

Callie was wide awake and glaring at Teddy at this point, as Teddy made sure her ride was quite bumpy.

Teddy grinned sheepishly at her before turning to the others.

"No one's seen anything suspicious yet, have they?" He started, looking between them all solemnly.

"No," they all chorused.

Teddy breathed a sigh of relief. It was only the first evening back, but he wouldn't put anything past Marvello.

"Okay. We all just need to keep our eyes open. Though, if Marvello is really trying to mimic his father, then he'll wait until the end of the year to attack," Teddy responded as he made his way to an oversized armchair.

"That's what Aunt Elle told me, so I bet that's what he's going to do," Callie reminded them tiredly. Why was this so important that Teddy had to drag me out of bed?

Brady nodded, taking a seat in another French armchair beside Victoire. "Exactly. I think we're all good for now. There's no new professors this year, so we don't have to worry about anything happening there."

Now it was James who nodded. He was still standing, looking everyone over. "And he was quiet over the summer. That could be a good sign or a bad sign."

Teddy was taking the lead in this meeting, since he knew that Callie was too tired to be her normal bossy and sassy self. He stated, "Knowing him, it's probably a bad sign. It means he's planning something. And after what he pulled at the End of the Year Ball, he's probably planning to catch one of us at a time. Too many people were around to help us last time."

"Right. What if he's planning to take each one of us out this year? Don't we need to be vigilant now?" Victoire inquired, leaning forward in her seat and looking at her perfectly manicured nails in worry.

"That's a good point, Vic. He's tried everything else. That means we can't sneak out of our dorms at night anymore," Brady agreed.

"So when are we going to have the meetings?" James asked in a small voice. This was all he had, besides pranking. This was what he loved.

"We'll have them on the weekends. It's safer and there will be too many people wandering around for him to sneak in and look for us," Teddy responded firmly, crossing his arms.

The rest of the group nodded their agreement. "How about every Saturday right after lunch? We can all come together," Victoire suggested.

"Sounds good," James and Brady responded at the same time.

Callie yawned again, leaning against the wall with her eyes half closed. Teddy seen this out of the corner of his eye, so he told the group that that was all they needed to talk about.

Victoire was the first to leave. She was the best at stealth, and she didn't have the cloak. James and Brady went next under the cloak. Teddy assured them that they would be fine without it.

Callie changed the room from the couches and chairs to just one giant bed. She didn't quite feel like walking all the way back to the common room and risk getting caught.

Teddy grinned at her, to which she responded with a sleepy smile and a shrug. She got in bed first, with Teddy following not long after.

They'd fallen asleep in each other's dorms before, as well as on the couch in the common room and at home during the summer so it wasn't anything new.

Callie curled into his side, with his arms going around her immediately. Callie was asleep almost instantly, which wasn't surprising at all given how tired she was.

Teddy laid awake for a bit longer, studying her. He loved how innocent and carefree she looked when she was sleeping; like all her problems had been lifted off of her shoulders. Her curls had been pulled up into a ponytail, so Teddy could really see the peaceful expression on her face. Callie shifted slightly in her sleep, curling even more into him. This made Teddy's smile even bigger. He couldn't wait for more nights like this in the future.

I'm going to marry her, Teddy thought before he finally drifted off into a blissful sleep, the love of his life sleeping peacefully in his arms.

Sorry for the short filler chapter! This was the best spot I could think of to end this chapter, as next chapter is a month or so later.

I love Callie and Teddy together!! What would their ship name be? Tallie? Caddy? Feel free to comment and vote ;)

Elle and Fred will be back next chapter, don't worry!
