Scott's POV

It's been a few days since I left, I ran to an ice spikes biome far away from my friends. It's nice here but I often get lonely.

I started learning to control my powers, I managed to make a huge ice castle. I tried my best to make my new place look at least a bit like Rivendell by adding some ice antlers.

I was sitting on the cliffside beside my castle when I spotted an owl flying towards me, it looks like one of my empires owls but how did they find me?

I held my hand out for the owl to land on, it landed on my hand. "Hoot hoot!" It said, luckily I could understand what it was saying. "You were sent by Aeor?" I asked, it nodded.

"Hoot hoot hoot." It said flapping its wings, "There's a way to cure Gem?" I ask, it nodded again. "Hoot hoot." "I have to go back?"

"Thank you for telling me." I said sending the owl back into the sky, I have to go back to my empire? But what if I hurt somebody again? No, I can already sort of control my powers so maybe it'll be fine?

I decided to go back anyway, I had to do it for Gem. I breathed in and out before shooting into the sky, it will probably take around an hour of flying to reach Rivendell.

After flying over many biomes and mountains, I finally arrived back in Rivendell. It looked the same, just with more snow. The ice spikes were still here but they stopped growing.

I could see a bright light shining from the church of Aeor, I landed right outside of it and walked in. The warm aura inside made me feel a lot more calmer about being here.

I saw a lectern with a book on it, I walked up to it and started reading.

Scott, my champion.

I see you have gotten my message. As you know, your friend GeminiTay has been injured.

She has what's called the frozen heart, when your powers went out of control it sent ice shards into her heart freezing it.

If she doesn't get cured, then she will be permanently frozen. But there is a way to cure it, that's by swapping the ice shards.

If you agree to cure her, you must know that you will be the one permanently frozen. The choice is all up to you, just know that in a span of 3 days she will go completely frozen as her body is too weak to fight the cold.

If you agree, there will be a book in your enchanting tower. Touch it and the shards will be swapped.

I froze her heart? Oh god...

I have to cure her, she had always helped me, she's always been there in my darkest times other than Jimmy. She always helped me, now its my turn.

I closed the book and headed to my enchanting tower, I walked inside and saw a book sitting on a lectern. It was glowing white and blue.

I hesitated but placed my hand on one of the pages, it started glowing.

My eyes widened as I felt a sharl pain in my chest, my head was spinning and I fell onto my knee's. I feel dizzy...

My body felt cold as my body dropped onto the floor, I let the darkness take over me.

Gem's POV

I'm just getting colder and colder. We were at Katherines to see if she could help me, Pearl came along since she was also worried for me. She's always been that protective little sister figure to me.

My hair was still white and nothing was working, Katherine was trying out a bunch of potions but nothing happened, Pearl was helping her make the potions while FWhip stayed by my side.

"Okay uh, try this one!" Katherine said handing me a healing potion, I opened it and drank it. I felt a little but warmer but still cold.

"How is it?" Katherine asks worriedly, "I'm a bit warmer but still cold." I replied, Katherine just sighed.

"Maybe we could try the ingredients in my castle." Katherine said leading us to her castle. As we walked inside, I felt a sharp pain in my chest. My head started to spin like crazy.

Is this an effect of the potion!? I clutched my hood and fell on my knee's with a thud. Everyone looked back and ran to me, FWhip ran to my side. "GEM! WHAT HAPPENED?!" He asks holding my waist, "I-I don't know.." I replied, the pain was unbearable.

"GEM PLEASE STAY WITH ME!" Was all I heard before darkness consumed me.

FWhip's POV

"GEM PLEASE STAY WITH ME!" I yelled as Gem fell unconscious. I could already tell I was crying, her white hair started turning back to her original ginger coloured hair.

"GEM!" Pearl yelled running over to Gem other side, "Put her in my guest room, we'll have to wait till she wakes up." Katherin said walking over to her guest room.

I picked Gem up and ran to the guest room and set her down on the bed, "Do you know why she fainted?" Katherine asked, "No, she just fainted." I replied, "I mean it couldn't have been the healing potion. It doesn't have any side effects." Pearl spoke.

"I guess we just wait till she wakes up."

-A Few Hours Later-

I saw Gem stir in her sleep, she slowly opens her eyes. "KATHERINE! PEARL! SHE'S AWAKE!!" I yelled, Gem sat up and looked around confused. Her white hair was gone and was replaced with a dark orange.

"GEM!" I yelled hugging her, Katherine and Pearl ran in. "Gem! Thank god you're awake." Katherine said letting a breath out.

"What happened?" Gem asks scratching her head, "Well, you fainted." I reply, "Oh, at least my hair is back!" She said looking at her hair, "And I'm not cold anymore! I think I'm cured!" Gem exclaimed happily.

I smiled. As long as Gem's safe.

"GEM I NEED YOUR HELP!"

Jimmy's POV

"GEM I NEED YOUR HELP!" I yelled landing inside Katherine's castle, "Jimmy! What happened?!" Katherine asked running to me, my tear stained face and red puffy eyes definitely didn't go unnoticed by them.

"SCOTT'S GONE!" I yelled sobbing once again, "What do you mean by Scott's gone!?" FWhip asked, "HE'S GONE! HIS CLOTHES, HIS CROWN, HIS ARMOUR, HIS-" I yelled getting cut off by another sob.

Katherine wrapped her hands around my waist hugging me, I hugged her back and sobbed into her shoulder.

"H-HE LEFT EVERYTHING BEHIND! EVEN HIS RING!" I yelled, "His ring? The one you gave to him?" Katherine asked, I nodded. "Alright, calm down Jimmy. We'll find him." Katherine assured.

I calmed down and lead them back to Rivendell, I took them in his house. The ring, clothes, armour, and crown were still sat at the same place.

"Oh dear." Gem muttered, "Yeah, Scott's definitely gone." FWhip said looking at his armour. "I think its because of me." Gem said looking down, "Because of you? What do you mean?" I ask, Gem explained everything to me.

Now it all made sense, no wonder Rivendell was so cold. I looked out the window and saw what looks like a person passed out on the floor of Scott's enchanting tower.

"I see someone in the enchanting tower!" I said running downstairs, everyone else followed behind. I crossed Scott's little bridge and walked into his enchanting tower.

I froze, my eyes widened, I put a hand over my mouth to stop me from screaming. Everyone else had gone quiet and stopped dead in their tracks.

On the floor was Scott, his mark was glowing, he had snow on his hair, his clothes were different, his wings were blue and frozen, his hands were white and frozen.

What happened to you Scott?

I ran to his side picking him up and setting him on my lap, I hugged him tight, "Scott..." I sobbed, he was ice cold but I could hear his heart beating. Katherine ran to his side checking for any injuries. Luckily there were none.

"Did you not see him like this when you first came here?" Gem asks kneeling beside me, "No! I went to his house and found his stuff. Then I went to Lizzie to ask her if she's seen Scott but she hasn't ever since the trade." I explained.

I felt Scott stir in my arms, "Scott!" I half-yelled hugging him again, "Ngh, Jimmy?..." Scott muttered. I looked him in the eyes, his eyes were brighter. Scott looked around the room and panicked once he saw everyone.

He pushed me away and crawled out of my grip and stood up, "W-Why is everyone here?!" He asked, "Scott, its fine-" I assured reaching my hand out for him only for him to back away, "NO! STAY AWAY FROM ME! I DON'T WANT TO HURT YOU." Scott yelled, his mark was glowing blue.

I was about to say something when Scott ran outside to an empty area beside the tower, "WAIT SCOTT!" I yelled running after him, I can't loose him.

Everyone else followed behind me, Scott was running and was about to take out some rockets when I gripped his wrist stopping him from doing so.

"JIMMY LET GO OFF ME!" Scott yelled trying to pry my hand off of his wrist, I stayed still. "NO! YOU WON'T HURT ME AND I KNOW YOU WON'T!" I yelled, "NO! I ALREADY HURT GEM AND I CAN'T RISK HURTING ALL OF YOU ASWELL!" He managed to pry my hand off.

"SCOTT! LOOK! I'M NOT HURT ANYMORE, I'M CURED!" Gem yelled, I could tell by Scott's expression that he knew something. "EVEN IF YOU ARE I CAN'T RISK HURTING YOU AGAIN!" He yelled.

We kept on trying to reason with Scott and telling him that he won't hurt us, Scott looked scared and his mark started glowing brighter.

"ALL OF YOU ENOUGH!" He yelled, there was a flash a blue and white, we all yelped as many giant ice spikes sprouted from the ground. There was ice and snow everywhere, Scott's mark was glowing the brightest I've ever seen it glow. His eyes look like they were glowing blue.

Katherine and Pearl were holding onto eachother while Gem was hiding behind FWhip. I was holding my arms out in a defensive position. I let them down and stare at my husband. He looked hot-

ANYWAYS- Scott seemed to snap back into reality, his eyes widened as he realized what he had done. "I-I hurt you... I hurt you all... I'm a monster... I-I have to go..." He says, I was about to reason with him but he just flew off to who knows where.

"S-Scott..."
