Prologue

Long ago, there were 3 siblings who created the world we walk upon today...

The youngest, Notch, who ruled the Overworld, and gave mortal man a hospitable place to call home. Giving water, earth and air to the vibrant land scape.

The middle, Endris, who ruled The End, and gave mortal man the powers of magic and enchanting. Guiding the moon that was her blind eye that gave light during dark nights, and stars to tell stories to the sky.

The Eldest, Herobrine, who ruled the Nether, and gave mortal man the gift of fire and lava. Showering the people of the world with warmth for chilling nights and environments to allow man to explore in areas otherwise deemed impossible to cross and thrive in.

The 3 maintained order in the world, and watched the mortals of the land. However, one day, The eldest, feeling bitter and spiteful to the mortals who saw him as a monster, lead an invasion of his creatures from his realm to the overworld. The creatures slaughtered all they could, turning towns to rubble and painting the world red with blood. Destroying the lands He had helped make.

The eldest threatened to destroy the world they all worked so hard to create and cast all those into a void of nothingness, back from wince the world spawned.
In revolt, the middle and youngest, combined their strengths to battle their brother, and they were locked in a great battle that nearly destroyed the world as a whole; many mortals caught in the crossfire.
During the battle, The eldest was blinded by the youngest, giving him white eyes that glowed like fire.

In the end, the two younger siblings overcame their brother, and sealed him away in his realm the Nether below. Sealed and forgotten...
However, doing such made the oldest loose half of his power, lost like his blood dripped from his body, and the siblings could not act without risking destroying reality itself as all had to balance out to create order.
The two gave up half their power and cast it away to somewhere in the known universe to retain balance.

The legend has been passed down, and the sight if two white eyes has become a fear to all mortals...
The siblings had hoped eventually the tales of their dear brother would be forgotten...

...Or so the legends go...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My feet land hard on the grass of the dark forest as I run and run as fast as my legs can carry me. I gripped my arm, with an arrow shot in it, dribbling blood. I took small leaps down hills and didn't stop for anything. Tall, thick and dark trees obscured the sky and my vision as everything was a blur and obscured, only able to make a feint outline of objects.
Looking behind me, I saw nothing, but I knew HE was there. I didn't stop, and my heart felt like it was burning because of my exhaustion. I looked up though a hole in the thick leaves, and saw no moon in the sky, leaving me to run in darkness.
I came to a cliff, a drop into a shallow pool of water that would certainly cause harm if I jumped. I skidded to a stop and glanced down in awe at the height.
However I herd a cracking sound, and the stone gave out from beneath me. I fell 15 meters down into that shallow water, and I was stunned, unable to move out of the shock.
But I herd hard footsteps, and opened my eyes wide once I herd them. I got up in pain and ran. My right foot was so sore. I saw some red blood leaking from it, and it seemed swollen. No matter as I shrugged it off and limped as fast as I could, knowing that if I was caught, that fate would be far worse then any pain in my foot. I saw the forest part up a head and into an open field of grass, and I smiled hoping this would be my escape.
But I smiled too soon.
There was a sound of rustling leaves and I was tackled to the ground by a heavy force. My body was shaken and I felt the back of my head crack a little on a piece of rock as I slammed to the ground with the weight of another person on me. Stunned, I rolled onto my stomach and tried to stand up, but I was pinned down by an axe poised at my neck and shoulders.
I felt dizzy and it was hard for me to concentrate. I felt warm liquid seep down my forehead and streak down my face until it dropped to the grass. I was helpless, no weapons to defend myself. I felt the aura of a human lean down to my neck and smile.
"You summoned me, and now you'll learn what mistake you made." His heavy breath breathed on my neck caused shivers down my spine. I squeeze my eyes shut and didn't look at him.
I knew this man, he has been messing with me forever. I would loose sleep and hallucinate. I would rip at I own fingers the more I saw him, or what I thought was him. He was in my dreams often and all of them ended with him trying to kill me. I would feel my skin crawl and shivers down my spine seeing anything that may be a sign of him. The trees being bare of leaves, seemingly random tunnels and traps, all of these were signs of him being near. Who was he? He was-- no, I can't say it, just saying His name is a curse!
He got off me, but I was still down just by sheer pain. He came right in front of me and knelt down. He grabbed my head by my chin and forced me to look at him, right into his blank white eyes. I was terrified.
"There IS no escape; not even in death for you. I must regain the power I once had..."
He let go and stood up and turned His back to me before grabbing His axe and coming right at me. I frowned knowing my fate. I was waiting for Him to kill me, but He seemed to hesitate. He just held his axe above me, not slashing down. He seemed to grimace at me, or act like He remembered something. He smiled at me
"Actually... no. I want you to suffer... more. Suffer a lot more. You want a sweet release of death? Ha... haha- No. Take this as a warning; if you don't end your own life soon, you never will, and you'll forever be in terror from me."
He stood up and I felt a sheering pain on my neck for a brief moment before darkness all around me. And I fell into arms of unconsciousness...
Hopefully this prologue was good for all of you. This is a story I've gone back and forth in my head for literal MONTHS deciding on if I should or shouldn't post it because it was based off a dream. Mostly deciding because this story will break from the 'Minecraft Norm' and I don't know how people will like that. Plus I am not the best at describing surroundings, characters, etc... I will try however and make artwork for the characters!
Regardless I hope this prologue was good and that you'll enjoy the rest of the story. I have a good chunk of chapters written, but their older compared to the later ones and may need some tweaks.
With that, I'll leave you till next time
Chapter updates every week until chapter 20, then updates will be when completed
