I ran and ran through the dark wood, it was chasing me, the majestic creatures was chasing me. I was the prey and it was my predator, for him I was food and from the look in its eyes it was hungry... Hell it was starving.

I was stupid. Stupid to think that without my wolf I was strong enough to escape my abusive pack and navigate through the forest which separated me and my freedom. Beyond this forest would be the human world, the highway from what I heard which shall lead me to my freedom. For that in just survive... No one can ever come between me and my freedom unless he was my mate. Only my mate shall possess any power over me and only to him shall I ever bow.

To meet my mate or to escape to the human world I must lose track of this ferocious lion who thinks I will be a tasty meal, what does it see on me, I hardly have flesh on my body, I am just an out frame of a human with no flesh on me. I ran through the next patch of trees till I fell, tripping over the long roots of the plants growing around. I looked up and saw the majestic mane of the lion chasing me, it was crouched down ready to pounce on me. I screamed. Not that I expect any help in this forest but I still screamed. Natural human instincts. Sorry my mate before I even got to know you I am going to die and become someone's meal.

I waited for my death but after a while I heard snarling and roaring. I looked up and saw two beautiful must I say majestic midnight wolves in front of me, growling at the yellowed brown maned monster.

That was what my body told me. Yeah I may be devoid of my wolf but I had all the emotions of a wolf . Strange right?
I saw the big cat retreat, badly wounded with pieces of its fur missing.

The growling stopped once the Felinine was out of sight . The two midnight wolves turned and stared at me with their emerald orbs in which many emotions swirled.

"Mates? " I said and they nodded and slowly made their way towards me and sat down in front of me with a bit of respectable distance between among us.

"Won't you two shift? " I asked and they whimpered but shook their heads.

"You can't shift? " I asked and they nodded.

"Oh... Well I can't shift into my wolf either. How will we make this work? " I asked as they stared at me

"Don't worry. I won't reject you. I have been waiting for my mate since a long time. I didn't expect to get two but I guess when God is in the mood of giving, he makes sure to give you extra. " I said and they barked, a happy barked.

"Are you two twins? " I asked and watched them nod.

"I am Isabella black. I was running away from my former pack. They were going to kill me. I was going to the human world. But now that I found you two I'll stay with you two. Together we will make this work and get the two of you to shift. May a touch you? " I asked and they nodded.

Slowly I stood up and walked over to the Woody smelling wolf and scratched him.

"Can you tell me your name?Do you know how to write? " I asked and he nodded.
He extended his claw and wrote in the muddy ground illuminated by the moon light
Gabriel.

"What a wonderful name. " I said and kissed his forehead and he licked me and sniffed my butt.

I walked over to the other wolf, he smelled as cinnamon and oak. Lovely.
I scratched him behind the ears. He was timid and frightened but allowed me to touch him
"What's your name sweetheart? " I asked and watched him write in elegant writing
Nathaniel. Beautiful.

"Both of you have lovely names. I already like you two. I hope you like me and won't reject me. " I said and they looked at each other before pouncing on me and licking me.

"Okay okay I get it you would not think reject me and your happy to see me. To be honest I am happy to meet you two as well " I said and they wagged their tails.

I looked up at the sky and saw that that the clouds were towering over us and were growling at each other.

"A storm is brewing. We need to find shelter, food and some kindle to light a fire. " I said and they nodded

We got up and I gathered some Kindle while one of the boys hunted a few rabbits. I grabbed some berries which I knew were edible and while walking we came across a cave.

The boys marked their territory by peeing ever where. Thank god ware wolves do that pee on their mate to mark them. I don't think I would be very fond of that.

I lighted a fire while the boys munched on the rabbit. I cooked some for myself and had some berries. The storm had began and it was raining cats and dogs. I cuddled with my two mates as sleep overpowered me. All I knew was that Nathaniel allowed me to sleep on his tummy and use him like a pillow while Gabriel wrapped himself above me like a blanket.

"Goodnight my sweethearts" I said and as a reply I felt them lick my head.

Tomorrow we will find a place what we could actually call home.
