A wave of shock hit Meenakshi from inside.Her eyes refused to blink for even a second.It all started back to her as if her past was standing in the form of a man for whom she felt something - once.

Vikram took a step forward and kept staring at the eyes he has been yearning to see.He could never forget the face which held same grace and beauty as it held before.He was finally seeing her and reached his destination.

He was to take the final step to inch gap between them when heard her voice.

M-"Stop.right there."

He frowned his brows and looked around.There weren't much people around.She had come outside to wash her face and he took perfect chance.He sensed something and without thinking a second he placed his hand on her mouth and took her to a deserted place.

Meenakshi fought and she was at her best.She struggled in his hold till they reached some corner and he still had his hands covering her mouth.

V-"Meena please.I will let you speak only if you allow me to say what I want.Please.for once."

She sobered and he did what he promised.She was short of breath.Her eyes fumed with rage and tears.He knew from the look he had been getting it was obvious.

M-"Who the hell do you think you are.How dare you touch me."

V-"Meena."

M-"Meenakshi.Meenakshi Suhaas Sahae.."

He laughed making her flinch at his reaction.

V-"No wonder I had this on mind.You want me to believe what your identity is when I know your still the Meenakshi whom I knew."

M-"Huh knew?Wow.Why only knew.you dont have guts to speak the truth or you think I am still that foolish village girl whom you lured with your fake promises and ruined her life.Left her behind to die."

V-"No Meena.I.I agree I made a mistake but.that was all out of compulsion I was.I had no other option."

She felt disgusted as he tried to touch her hand.

V-"Meena I .I could never get you away from my mind.You are still in my heart and hold same place as before.I love."

A tight slap right across his place and Vikram stared at the fierce woman standing in front of him.Her face showed disgust towards him and she moved away taking steps to go when he again tried to stop her.

M-"Dont touch me."

She slapped him again and he clenched his fists.

He grabbed her from shoulders and found her giving him back with all her strength.He had his eyes on her.

M-"Leave me.Or else."

V-"I did that mistake once.Not going to repeat this time.Believe me I love you from all my heart and have been always."

Meenakshi stopped her struggle and he got confused to see her smiling.With much sarcasm and balanced tone she mouthed each word on his face.

M-"Your love let me get raped at cost of fulfilling your bloody selfish motive.Mr Vikram?Or I was one of those deals for you for which you get an amount and let me warm someones bed.I swear I have never seen a moron like you in my whole life."

V-"Meenakshi.You dont know the truth.I did feel worse with whatever happened with you.I was also broken."

M"Hahaa.Broken?Why.because I was still alive and if things would have revealed part of your deal then throwing me away from your path was best decision wasnt it?A cunning rascal."

V-"I can see from where you have got these traits.So much change.That bastard has filled you with venom."

M-"You let him.Didnt you?My would be husband had striken a deal to let an intruder have me for his pleasure and for what reason?To keep that head of yours high at cost of bringing me to death, destruction."

The last few words escaped from her mouth as she choked hard.It was difficult to even remember that night.Part of life she loathed.

V-"All made up stories.he must have brainwashed you.You have to trust me Meena."

M-"Sorry.but your words are not going to have any effect on me.I loath you."

She turned around and her back facing him.She wiped the tears which nearly burnt her cheeks.

V-"RISHI PRATAP SAHAE.Do you know whose name s this?Your beloved husband.Do you know history of your husband.And he is not only a rapist but a murderer.Involved in illegal activies and one of heads supporting such business here."

Her feet halted at the mention of that name.Yes thats what he is called by Raju.She never cared to inquire and did not feel the need.But Raju was someone who knew every single thing about him.Suhaas or Rishi he has been hiding himself under layers.

V-"I know I did this big sin by leaving you on that condition.I searched for you when you went lost.I can swear how I have been looking for you day and night.I realized my mistake long back and.You have been wronged.dont you want justice"

Meenakshi raised her eyes and her head was not letting her think beyond anything at the second.She refused to believe the person.

V-"If you want I am ready to bear any punishment for my crime.Meena I need your help to punish a criminal for his deeds.I know that Meenakshi is still alive inside you.I need you even if for this purpose please.I have proofs you can decide on yourself then.For once.come with me."

An hour passed and Suhas has been searching for her like crazy.He caught his head in worry and frustration.The guards were sent to search every possible place and he left no stone unturned to trace her.

Suhaas felt a lump down his throat for first time.It was his mistake that he feared to leave her anywhere and because of him what if she had to face consequence.His heart went through a trail of emotions and he went almost numb.

Biting his lips in anticipation, he reached outside the mall and fixed his gaze there.He could hardly sense the vibration from the phone on his hand.Realization struck him and he put the phone close to his ear to hear Raju's voice on other side.

R-"Rishi.Move out of that place right now."

He frowned his brows as the words could hardly get in sync with him.Within a second he felt a sensation on his body and his vision blurred.The phone fell from his hand in a fraction of seconds and slowly his body collapsed on the ground.He ran out of breathe and a sharp pain hit his back.He was shot.All he managed to see was being surrounded by people and his guards in a moment and his hand touched something wet.It was blood.
