Taehyung POV

I was sitting on the sofa with my head leaned backwards and my eyes closed, my hands were folded on my chest.

I was enjoying the peace when the door slamed open. I heard pair of shoes running inside, followed by someone shouting, "GIVE ME THAT SLICE BACK! IT WAS MINE!"

"NO~" the one who ran inside said and laughed.

I slowly opened my eyes and they fell on an angry Lee Know, standing at the door. "You ate the whole pizza!! At least let me have the last slice!!" He said angrily.

Liya who was now standing on the other end of the room, behind the sofa I was sitting on, let out a wicked laugh, "Nah~ Last slice tastes the best!" Even though I couldn't see her face, from her voice, I was sure that she was having the time of her life.

"YOU LITTLE!" Lee know screamed and ran towards Liya. She laughed and ran away, resulting Lee know to chase her around the room.

I let out a sigh and closed my eyes, trying to ignore the twins.

This wasn't something new anymore. I was kinda used to it by now.

The world we live in was not normal. About 95% of the beings that exist in this world have different special abilities. Some can manipulate elements, some can manipulate gravity, some can copy abilities while some can absorb them. This world does not only have humans but also other species, 90% of the population consists of the Haumans while the remaining 10% consists of creatures like vampires, warewolves and maybe a few banshees.

Werewolves usually lived in packs under their Alpha. Only they among themselves would know who the alpha is. It was usually hidden. As for vampires, they mostly lived on their own. Both the vampires and werewolves always kept their identities hidden. They would blend in with humans and live as them. It was hard for any normal human to identity. Both vampires and werewolves could eat human food but for vampires, they needed at least 2 packs of blood per week, for which blood banks were made and it wasnt a myth that vampires burn in sunlight, they did burn but to prevent that, certain pills were invented. One pill once a month would keep them safe.

Human, vampires, werewolves and lastly Banshees.

Banshees were the rarest of all the species. At some point, everyone thought they were just stories, no one really believed in them, even I didn't until I saw one myself.

A few months ago, one of my friends, Stella, was kidnapped and when we finally found her, she was no longer a human and had turned into a bunshee. That's when we realized that bunshees aren't born, they are turned. The question was how? The answer to which no one knew.

Since the human, vampires and werewolves lived together, there was a law that no species could hurt the other. If they did broke the law, they were sentenced to death. The one who made this law was an organization called SPARK.

SPARK was an organization that maintained the world peace since decades. They provided protection to the ones who needed it and created different laws to ensure their protection. They also invented special weapons that could injure the vampire and werewolves. They had agents excelling in different criteria working under them. There were two well known agent teams consisting of 6 agents each and it was rumored that there were more secret agents under them. The police forces were also under this organisation.

The head of the SPARK was called Czar or Czaritsa. Since SPARK was the organization that protected the world, it also was the organization that ruled the world and Czar was basically the ruler of this world. The title of Czar was passed down to the Zoldyk bloodline since ages. The Zoldyks were all werewolves, but the ones working under them, working under SPARK were mostly humans, giving them a chance to get stronger.

20 years ago, when the Czar was 30, he fell in love with the vampire. They soon got married. Marriages between vampires and werewolves were very rare and not easily accepted among the people. There were myths that if such marriages were to happen, there was a chance that one of their child would be cursed. It would be the strongest. Some wanted this while some feared this, but the Czar ignored this and married the love of his life.

They lived a happy life for 6 years but then something unfortunate happened and the whole Zoldyk bloodline was wiped, including the Czar. The only person alive that was close to Zoldyk bloodline was the wife of Czar. Since then, it was her who ended up becoming the Czaritsa. It was the first time since the beginning of the organization that it was a women who was the head and also a vampire. She had been a great leader. She was responsible for any action taken under the name of SPARK.

Where there is good, there's always evil too. For a Hero to be born, there needs to be a villain first.

Just like that, there were gangs that opposed SPARK. Among them, the two strongest were Dark Knight and Black Roses. They were considered villains while SPARK was the hero.

This was how it was supposed to be, but was it?

I was a member of the Dark Knights. We were the villains, but SPARK was not our only enemy, Black Rose was our enemy too.

It was like that until about six months ago but then everything changed. We encountered a member of Black Rose. We were about to eliminate her, but she figured us out. After the encounter, instead of fighting among ourselves, we decided to fight together and defeat our common enemy first, that was SPARK.

It wasn't an easy task though...

I met a girl, she changed everything...

Misa...

I fell in love with someone I couldn't be with...

She was an agent working for SPARK, I knew we weren't meant to be, but before I realized it, I fell for her.

She saw in me the things no one did, she wanted me to forget my past and  accept myself...

But like everyone, I lost her too...

She betrayed SPARK for us and was eliminated by them. It's been two months since that happened..

Stella and Jungkook blame themself. I knew it wasn't their fault though...

After that incident, we lost our gang leader and Jungkook ended up getting that position, but he wasn't ready for it. He hadn't fully recovered yet. Seeing him trying to carry the burden even though he was injured, the leader of Black Rose decided to step forward and completely merge the gangs temporarily and lead it.

So here I was....

The leader of BR, Lee Jong suk, called everyone today for a meeting and so here I was, waiting in one of the rooms in the headquarters when the twins broke in and started chasing each other. They were always like that..

I was snapped out of my thoughts when someone shouted, "Lee Know and Liya, Stop it both of you!"

I opened my eyes and saw Lee Jong Suk, standing at the door with his hands folded on his chest and a stern look on his face. His black hairs were pushed back. He looked the same as I saw him that day at the graveyard.

Liya and Lee know stopped and gulped.

"Judging by your looks, it seems you again forgot to complete your jobs." He gave them an annoyed look. "To the training room. Both. Now."

They lowered they heads and walked passed their father, bickering among themselves once they were out.

Once they were gone, Jung suk let out a deep sigh and shook his head. He walked towards the sofa and sat beside me. "Those kids are really gonna be the the death of me." He sighed and threw back his head.

I chuckled.

"Uh...by the way can I ask you something?" I asked, not sure if I should actually ask it.

"Go ahead." He grinned.

"Umm...During the meetings...you look so old, but in reality you are not that old...how?" I asked.

He laughed, "I have many enemies, I cant risk revealing myself to them...so this is the real me."

"Oh."

A comfortable silence fell between us.

"Are you okay?"

I turned my hea9r towards him and just stared at him, I was taken aback from his sudden question.

"I guess you are not." He gave me a gentle  smile. "I know you are going through a lot, but dont be too hard on yourself. You are still a kid, there's a lot ahead of you. You need to accept what happened and move on. But before doing that, you need to let it all out."

I dont know why, but the way he talked....it reminded me of my dad...

"I know it's hard but you need to let it all out. You cant bottle up everything inside you..you need to let it out. Dont act like it doesn't hurt."

I turned away, not being able to look him in the eye. It was like he could see right through me...

"Let it all out then move on... cherish what you have left now... dont turn back in your old self and be the person she made you... she would want the same." He got up and messed my hairs, "Dont be hard on yourself kid."

I looked up at him, "Thank you."

He grinned and turned around to leave the room, "Call your emo buddy too, we got a meeting."

Stella POV

It was around 4pm when I entered the Black Rose's HQ and knocked on the door of leader's office.

Todays meeting was not the whole gangs meeting. This time, the leader called only particular members for god knows what reason. Like usual the meeting wasn't in the meeting room, instead it was in the leader's office.

I heard a 'come in' and opened the door. I looked ahead and noticed that the large window in front of me, that I accidentally shattered the time Liya challenged me to shoot her, was now completely renewed.

I still had my powers back then..

Everything was different....

I snapped out of my thoughts and shook my head. I turned towards my left and there behind the table, seated on the chair was none other than the CEO of starlight entertainment.

I guess Liya was right, her old man indeed was the CEO.

He raised his head and smiled, "Glad you are here Stella. You can take a seat, we will start when the others get here too."

"Okay."

I turned towards my right and was startled when I saw Liya sitting on one of the couch and doing some paperwork.

This was NOT a usual sight.

I walked towards her and held her shoulder, "Hey Liya...Are you alright???" I asked with wide eyes.

She looked up, her upper face was covered in hood but she wasn't wearing her black mask, making her lower face visible. I realized, this was probably the first time I was seeing her lower face. She had no makeup, but her lips were naturally pink.

She bared her teeth and hissed, "Get lost."

I laughed and sat opposite to her.

"Are you done Liya?" The leader asked from the other.

Liya snapped her head towards his direction, "I'm still working on it." She replied with gritted teeth.

Soon after, one by one everyone came in and settled on the couches around the coffee table.

Once the leader thought it was time, he got up and walked towards us. All of us turned towards him. "I think that's everyone! Let's begin now."

I was kind of surprised when I realized that there were only 9 members including the leader present in the room.

Liya, Lee know, Jimin, Jungkook, Taehyung, Suga, Yuna and I were the only ones beside the leader.

Jong suk took a seat, "You guys must be wondering why it's just the eight of you. It's because what we are going to discuss today is something dangerous. I dont want to take chances." He gave us a stern look. "Starting today, we'll start the mission DOS and it'll be only between the nine of us. As a leader it's my job to trust you guys, but if you break it, there wont be mercy. Any questions?"

Yuna raised her hand, "What is DOS?"

"Destruction of SPARK....duh." Liya said as a matter of fact and even though I couldn't see, I could feel her rolling her eyes.

"Liya." The leader said sternly.

"Sorry." She mumbled.

Jongsuk cleared his throat, "So moving on, we need to plan everything thoroughly. We cant afford any mistakes." He looked at everyone, "I assume all of you are greatly skilled? The best among you?" His eyes stopped at at me, "Except you."

I gulped and nodded, "Yes sir."

"Before starting the missions, until we come up with strategies, I expect you guys to continue training hard in  things you excel. Everyone will be assigned a particular position." He picked up a folder and started scanning through it, "Suga, you'll try improving your hacking skills even further. Jimin, work on your tracking skills along your fighting. Lee Know and Jungkook work together and train in hand to hand combats and guns. Yuna will be the sniper. Taehyung and Liya, you guys wont have any particular position, you will be expected to do anything that's needed. Along with this training, practice using your powers too. I bet none of you is a human, I know you guys aren't comfortable revealing it, but train yourself in that too."

"Yes sir." Everyone said in unison.

"As for Stella...you will go through an intense training, harder than anyone here." He said as he looked at me.

"Yes sir."

"And the one training you will be," I suddenly grinned, "Liya."

My eyes widened. Liya snapped her head towards her father, "Why am I just hearing about this?!"

"That your punishment, princess."

"Yes. Sir." Liya said and thre back her head.

"So...to begin with, let's discuss about what we know so far about SPARK." He turned a page. "I ordered some of you to go and investigate Misa. What happened?"

"We did went to her apartment and every little place she visited, but.." Lee know hesitated.

"But?" The leader asked.

The next thing I heard sent shivers down my spine,

"But...

........its like she never existed."
