-Wang Mansion-
11: 00 PM

He walked into the Wang Mansion through the great, rusty gate. Black paint peeling off at some places, the humongous but rusty iron gate built at the entrance creaked as he swung the gate open, the sound tearing through the stillness of the damp, cold night.
Taking brisk steps towards the ancient but gigantic Wang Mansion, his boots sinking a little on the soaked ground, he walked forward as his trunk dragged behind him.

"What's the matter?"

"No, it isn't MY fault, you should've taken care of it in the first place!"

"Why do you always have to blame me for no reason? Did I not amend some past sins, that I got a partner like you?!!"

Crashes and clatters of breaking china could be heard, echoing outside and clearly audible to him.
He let out a low sigh and continued walking, imprints of his boots on the rain-wet ground.

"Alohomora", he muttered softly as the entrance opened, revealing an antique but splendid interior of the Mansion. Somehow, even though the place exuded magnificence and a royal aura, the air had a dark, almost depressing tension hung in it.
It gave him chills.

Ignoring the feeling, he made his way through the grand flight of stairs and took slow steps towards the room from where the chaos was ensuing.
He opened the slightly ajar door completely, only to come in face-to-face with a bloodied woman holding a broken bottle of Vodka and an injured man clutching a piece of mirror glass. They both seemed to be attacked each other, but were interrupted just in time.

He sighed sadly.

" Mom, Dad. I'm home."

"Platform 9¾, I'M HERE!!" Taehyung shouted before Kookie clapped his hand over Taehyung's mouth.
The people around looked curiously at the group of four youngsters. Thankfully, they didn't pay to them attention for long.

"Shhh- Idiot, you'll expose yourself and us-" He said, smacking his head.

Taehyung mouthed a "sorry" while Chim and Namjoon chuckled silently.

"Hurry up, the train's going to leave any moment. Jungkook, you first, followed by Namjoon, Chim and Taehyung. We'll follow after", Jungkook's father said, checking his watch.

They entered platform 9¾ turn-by-turn.
The shining silver, black and red exterior of Hogwarts Express was in clear view, adult, children and aged wizards and few muggles scattered on the station, bidding farewell to the students and wishing them luck for the new session.

A quick goodbye session followed by tears of the mothers, and the Hogwarts Express blew its final warning whistle.

The group finally settled into their compartment as the Hogwarts Express left the platform, filling the sky with whitish-grey smoke and whistling loudly.

Once they were comfortably adjusted, Namjoon opened up his new book of Hogwarts: A History and started reading it, adjusting his glasses. Chim, or Jimin, pulled out his headphones and played his favourite playlist while making random movements in the air, eyes closed.
Jungkook and Taehyung stared at him curiously.

"Why are you both being creeps? What's the reason for staring at me like that?" Jimin asked, removing his headphones, an amused expression etched on his face.

Taehyung pointed towards the headphones casually and asked him, "Muggles stuff? What's that and what does it do?"

Jungkook looked at him and then at Jimin, waiting for the answer.

"Oh, this? Yes, they're called headphones. You could listen to music on it."

"Oh.. I'll ask Halmeoni to get one for me then. Sounds cool", Taehyung spoke, returning back to staring outside the window.

" Did you know-" Namjoon piped in, but someone cut him off as their compartment door slid open.

"Kim Namjoon? Is that you?" A tall, black-haired guy with broad shoulders, dark brown eyes and rather plump, pink lips appeared before them, the HEAD BOY badge showing itself prominently on his Gryffindor robes.

Namjoon took off his glasses and placed them on the open pages of the thick textbook.

"Yes? I'm Kim Namjoon. Kim Seokjin, isn't it?"

"Yes", he nodded and gave him a slight smile.

"Could you meet me outside the Gryffindor Common Room after the Arrival Feast? Professor McGonagall has some business."

"Oh- What is it?"

"I don't know", he shrugged and continued.

" Anyways, I'll take your leave now. I got other business to do too. Being a Head-Boy, loads of responsibilities, you know-" He said, shaking his head slightly. Turning at his heel, he marched away, an air of confidence and smugness surrounding him.

Namjoon didn't take another glance at him and continued reading his book. Jungkook and Jimin scoffed at the same time, while Taehyung just sat there, unaware of the whole exchange between both of them, staring outside.

"Why is he so self-centered? Who does he think he could defeat by being Head Boy? I think Dumbledore went bananas while he was choosing who to be the Head Boy", Jimin drawled, with a dark look on his face.

Jungkook nodded vigorously and stuffed a handful of Bertie-Botts Every Flavour Beans into his mouth, which he had carefully sorted out earlier, throwing away the disgusting ones.

The Hogwarts Express let out another loud whistle, its whitish-grey smoke clouding the already hazy sky as the black outline of Hogwarts came into view.

"Well, we must get changed into our robes, Hogwarts is nearly visible", Taehyung spoke up for the second time during the whole journey.

The boys agreed and changed into their robes. After 25 minutes, the train came to a screeching halt, whistling for one last time before all the Hogwarts students left their compartments and crowded on the platform.

" AYE! Y'ALL FIRST YEARS, LINE UP! OVER HERE, LINE UP!" Hagrid, the Hogwarts' Game Keeper roared as he gathered the tiny first-years and ushered them into two neat lines.

"Ey Hagrid", Jungkook greeted him as the other three smiled at him.

"Oh, 'Ello there, Kook, I'll be- STOP TALKING SO MUCH!" Hagrid bellowed, silencing the chattering first-years as they made their way towards the Great Lake.

"This session is going to fun. Do you think we'll get any more clues?" Jimin turned to Namjoon and questioned him.

"Well, I don't know, but I've got a premonition that this year's going to be one of the bulliest years ever."

The younger trio looked at him, wide-eyed as he hopped into the nearest boat.

"Since when did Hyung start using the words like that? I thought he'd use another of his intelligent and non-understandable words", Jungkook whispered softly to the other two.

" Same, Kookie, same", they both whispered back in unison and stepped into the boat.

~In Front Of The Gryffindor Common Room *le time skipeu*~

Namjoon waited in front of the Gryffindor Common Room entrance. The portrait of the Fat Lady gazed at him as he took lazy steps around.

"Hello there, let's not waste any time and go straight to Professor McGonagall", Seokjin arrived at the place and without any further ado, marched quickly towards the Professor's Office.
Namjoon followed him, taking brisk steps behind him.

" Kim Seo-"

"Just Jin, please. You're one of those persons I'm allowing to call me that, besides my family and my best friend, Min Yoongi. So you better feel special", he turned his handsome profile sideways a little to face Namjoon. And did an unexpected move.

Namjoon's jaw dropped as Jin winked at him. He gazed at the boy in disbelief as they entered McGonagall's office, before shutting his mouth close again.

McGonagall turned as she saw the top two brightest students of Hogwarts standing in front of her. She was proud to have both of them in her house.

" Well, well. I'll make it quick to you both, Mr. Kim and Mr. Kim", she stated, amused and adjusted her spectacles.

"This year, the Wizard Schools from all around the world are taking part in the International Wizard Youth Festival, and you both will be representing Hogwarts for the 'ACADEMIC MASTERS' category. So prepare for it well. I'm informing you in advance, because you'll be partnering up and so you both need to work together. Is that clear?"

"Yes, Professor McGonagall", they both answered at the same time.

" Good, now go sleep. And don't let Peeves or Filch or Mrs. Norris find you out."
