"You stayed at Grays?!" Levy shouted in panic.

Lucy gazed at her in question. She was acting as if it was a crime or something utterly horrible.

But she nodded. "Yes, I quite like it there too. Why, is there something wrong?"

Levy sat back down at the table. Around them the guild was lively. Several members had mugs full of booze.

One girl sat on top of the bar counter with an entire barrel of booze in her lap, taking massive gulps every few second.

Gray was being chased around by a girl he had described to her last night. Her name was Juvia Lockser, she was a water mage. He told her that Juvia had a bit of a terrifying obsession with him.

"Its just because Gray has never allowed anyone to know where he lives. Not even Juvia knows. She tries to follow him home nearly every day." Levy explain to her.

"Hmm. He invited me over when he saw me wandering the town. Said I shouldn't be out by myself in the city." Lucy replied.

"He was right but...you don't have to stay at his house you know. You could always stay with me." Levy suggested with a slight smile.

"That's very nice of you to offer but I think I'll stay there for awhile. I feel like there is something you aren't telling me though. I don't think you'd be objecting this much if the only reason was because no one has been allowed to see his house." Lucy spoke.

Levy looked down at the table. "You are right, that's not the reason at all. It's just that Gray is a guy, and you are a sweet innocent girl. I'd just hate to see him try to take advantage of you."

Lucy's eyes were full of question. "I stayed with Natsu, who if I'm not mistaken is a guy. You didn't make any fuss over that."

"Well, Natsu is much different than Gray. Honestly, I doubt Natsu would even know how to take advantage of someone or if he even knows what it is." She explained.

"Are you calling him stupid?" Lucy laughed slightly.

"Eh, more like dense." Levy's mouth curved into a lovely smile.

Lucy nodded."I do appreciate your concern, Levy. But I don't think I have to worry about Gray laying a finger on me."

"Why is that?" She questioned.

"Because he knows my whole story. He swore on his life he would never harm me or let others harm me." Lucy answered with a bright smile.

Just then the door's to the guild opened. Lucy looked up to see who had entered. Her eyes landed on Natsu and all of a sudden her smile faded away.

"There you are, Fire Breath. I'd like to have a word with you." Gray stood up from his table a few feet away, walking over to Natsu.

Natsu raised his eyebrow and nodded his head. "Okay."

The two walked off to one of the far corners of the large room, leaving Happy standing there in the center of it. Lucy jumped up off the bench and run to him.

"Happy!" She started.

Happy's eyes landed on Lucy, a sad look took over them. "Lucy..."

"Can I talk to you, just for a moment?" She asked as politely as possible.

"I don't know...Natzu doesn't want me talking to you." He replied.

"Please Happy, just hear me out!" Lucy begged.

Happy let out a sigh. "Okay, but I'm going to get in trouble."

Then Happy began to walk away, motioning to Lucy for her to follow him. She did exactly as he wanted and trailed behind him until they reached the second floor.

They sat at a small round table in a corner. "Alright Lucy, what did you want to talk about?"

"I want to know why Natsu didn't so much as give me a chance." She answered.

Happy looked down. "It's complicated Lucy..."

"AHHHH!!" A scream was heard from down on the second floor.

Lucy shot up out of her seat and darted to the railing. Her eyes widened at the sight beneath her. The guild doors were wide open and Magic Council guards were flowing in like a river.

"We know you have been sheltering the Celestial Mage. Bring her to us now and no one gets hurt." A man in a mask spoke boldly as he raised his staff.

"Why don't you go bother a different guild." Gray stepped forward, his shirt had been taken off, revealing a dark blue Fairy Tail symbol on his chest.

"Watch it, Ice Mage." The man spoke again.

"You can either leave willingly, or I will force you to leave." With that Lucy watched as Erza stepped up.

Suddenly an entire wall of people stood between the guards and the second floor. Lucy's mouth dropped, every single person has standing there ready for a fight. Even Natsu stood with flames in his hands.

"You get one last chance, give me the mage and I wont destroy this guild." The masked man threatened.

"You'll never have her." Mirajane stepped up along with Erza.

"As you wish...Men! Find the Celestial Wizard and burn Fairy Tail to the ground for sheltering a wanted criminal." On her orders the small sea of guards began to attack the members of Fairy Tail.

It became suddenly clear to Lucy that this guild was much more powerful than it had seemed. When she was in prison there were two men who would worship Fairy Tail and its might.

Lucy wanted to join in the fight, help the people who were fighting for her. But sadly, her spirits had yet to come of of their gates when called so she would be utterly useless on the battle field.

Then she was spotted, several guards climbed the stairs to reach her. Using their lightning staffs to harm her. Lucy fell to the ground,her eyes closed, her arms wrapped around her body in pain as ear piercing screams filled the air.

"Lucy!" She heard Gray's voice call.

Before she knew it the pain stopped. Lucy's eyes opened slowly, though her vision was slightly blurred. Standing above her was a man with dark pink hair and fiery hands. Anger spread across his face.

"Natsu?" She questioned in a weak voice.

The guards around her were unconscious on the ground. Natsu turned to her and picked her up off the ground.

"Get up." He started. "So the mighty Celestial Wizard can't even defend herself? How pathetic."
