I walked up to Dranias house hold and knocked on the door. My hands came together and they nervously played together. I have been thinking nothing but about this the whole time. It was making me so anxious and I think I can't hold it back anymore if I don't hear Helene plan right now! Ugh, I hate that I'm so impatient sometimes.

I hope whatever she has in mind will work and she'll do it.

The door opened and Helene gave me a warm smile, "Come in, Jesse.", she said, stepping aside. I walked and she closed the door behind me. She went into the kitcken and I followed her, "Would you like something to drink? I'm making this special tea my mother showed me. It's like green tea, but has a slightly different, but it's suppose to make you more healthier.",

"Another gypsy remedy?", I asked before I could stop myself. My hand flew up to my mouth. She probably thought I was making fun of her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that.",

She smiled, "It's okay and no.",

My cheek heated up, "Well, sure. Thanks.". I sat down at the small round table that was in the kitchen while she made the tea. It was akward silence until she came over with to cups of hot tea. I thanked her and took a sip, surprised at how delicious it taste, "That's pretty good.", I said.

She nodded, "Yeah, my mother best. She was good with herbs and plants.",

"Not to sound noisy, but when did you come here? To America I mean.", I asked.

"In 1972, I was pregnant with Daphne. I wanted to have a better life here in America, so my husband and I escaped from our village and immigrated to North Carolina. It was hard, but we got here. My husband knew little English and it was hard to get around, but we manage. And it helped when Daphne grew up and she could translate for us. ", she said.

I nodded, "Oh.",

"Do you know story about how the curse became?", she asked.

"Yeah. Lucian raped one of your ancestors and the girl mother put a curse on him for revenge.", I said and she nodded.

"Yes, but I will tell you, Eliza was not perfect. She was rebellious. The story from our side is told that she was rude, wasn't happy in her engagement after what happened, flirted a lot with other husbands, and at least tried to run away from her mother at least twenty times in her life.", she said.

I just grew confused, "So what's your point about it? He still raped her.",

"I don't think he did.", she said, taking a sip of her tea. "I think Eliza lied. I think she tried to get pregnant by Lucian so she could get married and escape but when her father found her a husband after, she got scared for on they're wedding night, she wouldn't be a virgin. So I think she lied, saying Lucian raped her to cover up. Story does say he denied it.",

"Do you think that could be true?", I asked.

She shrugged, "I don't know, but it's my opinion. Girls don't just sneak out of the village unless they're getting food. People saw her with him. It was pretty unusual and people talk--from both sides. She was a teenager with hormones. She thought she knew everything and had it all planned out, but she did not. She got pregnant and because of what she did, the baby was killed.",

My eyes widen slightly, "They killed her baby?",

"The child wasn't full blood of my people and they thought Lucian raped her. They called it a bad spirit child and will end up doing the same thing as he did. To them, they were doing the right thing.",

"And she let them?",

She shrugged again, "She had no other choice. Once the baby was born, she didn't even get to hold him. They took it outside and let it freeze to death in the forest.",

My hand came up to cover my mouth a little, "Oh my god, that's horrible.",

She nodded, "Nai, I agree. Which is why I'm going to help the best I can. No matter what side of the story is true or not, this curse has gone on enough.",

"Andria seems to think other wise.", I said.

She chuckled behind a close mouth, "That is because Andria very much likes the story, but she has always been on Eliza side, believing what happened to her. She feels like she has a close contention with her some how. In spirit, I mean.",

"And do you believe that?", I asked.

She shrugged, "I do belive in spirits, but I don't believe Andria has any contention with Eliza.",

"So what do you think you can do to take the curse off?", I asked, feeling anxious again, wanting to shake her down until she answers me quicker.

"I can't take the curse off you boyfriend.", she said. I sighed, wishing she was actually going to tell me she could. "But I can take the curse off the future generation for the family.",

I gave her a confused look, "What do you mean?",

She thought for a second on how she could explain to me. "The males that are born now, I cannot help them. They're already been born with it but I can save their children from having it.",

"So, your saying if Kaden has a child, he wont be a Lycan?", I asked and she nodded. Well, I guess that can work. Kaden does say he doesn't mind it and it's the only way that can end this curse. It can't help the ones that are already curse, but we can help the next generation. "I think whatever you can do, we'll take it. I'll talk to Kaden dad about this and we'll see what the family say.",

She nodded, "Okay. I must know soon though. And every male of Lupei family must be there, either if they Lycan side had come out or not. It's important they're there. Adult and child.",

"Okay. I'll get the family to gather up and then what? Do you just do a spell or something, then it's over?", I asked.

"I must have at least have blood--Lycan blood, the oldest one in the family since the blood was be stronger and more powerful. Not like sacrifice amount of blood, but enough for the spell. Don't worry about it, I do it all. You just get the whole family together and we must meet in the woods, right when the moon full.", she said.

"Full moon.", I repeated, more to myself. A full moon from what it says on my calendar is next Saturday. We only have one week to plan everything? Jeez. "Okay.",

"Good.", she said, taking another sip of her drink.

"You went to see her without me?", Kaden asked, his voice in disbelief and anger. I just got finish telling him everything that Helene told me.

I shrugged, "She only wanted me there, I had to respect that, Kaden.",

"But I should have at least known.", he said. "You shouldn't have kept it to yourself like it's some big secret or something.",

"Well, it doesn't matter now.", Joe said. "We have a way to end this curse and it's going to end now. Thank you, Jesse.", he said, putting his hand on my shoulder and gave me a light squeeze. I smile and felt proud of myself. "I just can't believe that a possibility we got cursed is because a girl might have lied.",

"Doesn't matter anymore.", I said. "We're going to end it. I'm just sorry I couldn't get the curse lifted off you guys too.",

"That doesn't matter either, we all accepted our fate. Just as long as the next generation doesn't have to deal with this.", he said. "So, we only have a week. We can get the whole family together by then to meet.",

We all nodded and Joe went off to make calls to the family member. I looked at Kaden and gave him an annoyed look, "You aren't really mad with me, are you?",

He sighed, dropping his look to look at me, "No, not really. I'm just...I just want to help with this.",

"You are, Kaden.", I said. He just nodded and I took his hand, "Your helping taking this curse off with me. This is your family, Kaden. Your saving the children your going to have one day.",

"You mean our children.", he said.

My cheeks blushed up, but I gave him a small smile, "Yeah.". He smiled to and leaned over to kiss me.

A moment later, we heard Joe cry out loud. I jumped and heard him cry out loud again, but it wasn't scared or crying sound, but an excited one. "Thank you. Thank you! Thank you so much!", we heard him say from upstairs. We heard him run upstairs and down the stairs with this smile on his face and blue eyes sparkled like he just won the lottery, "She woke up! She's going to be fine.", he cried, grabbing his jean jacket and put it on. "Come on, Kaden. We have to go pick up Angela and go to the hospital.",

Kaden eyes were wind, "You go ahead dad, we'll meet you there.", he said, a smile on his face too.

Joe dad didn't hesitate, "Okay, but you better be there.", he said, pointing at Kaden seriously before grabbing his keys and quickly walked out of the house.

I smiled at Kaden, "This is great, Kaden.", I said, wrapping my arms around his neck and his arms went around my waist. I laid my hand down on his shoulder, taking up his warmth.

Kaden arms loosen and I lifted my head. He pressed his lips down on my roughly and I giggled, "It's more then great, Jesse. Everything finally going to work out.", he said as he kissed me.

The door to Kaden house open and we broke apart, snapping our head to see who it was.

"Oh god.", left my mouth when I saw Melanie and Logan looking us dumbfounded and shocked. My cheeks burned up and a plague of guilt felt like it was splashed on me. Logan face then turned to anger and he turned, quickly walking out of the house. I quickly got up and ran over to the door, "Logan, wait, let me explain!", I said. He got in his car and slammed the door shut. "Wait!", I said, running up to the car, but he speeded off when I was five feet away.

Oh god, this isn't good. Logan caught me kissing Kaden and must think I'm a total slut! Jeez, I feel like one too. I felt dirty and like I just commit a crime. Not that I regret kissing Kaden, but I still feel bad. I'm still with Logan--though, I don't believe I am anymore now that he caught us.

I turned back around and walked back in the house. Melanie mouth was dropped as he stared back and forth between Kaden and I, "Uh," she said, pushing her hair behind her ear. "I was just coming over to see if you were still going to Brent's party tonight.",

I ran my hand down my face, "It wasn't what it look like.", I tried, but my voice failed to sound convincing.

"So, you weren't just about to let Kaden stick his tongue down you throat?", she asked and I gave her a shocked look. She looked pissed now, "I never took you to be the one to cheat on your boyfriend, Jesse. I would see it coming from Tabby, but not you.", she said, walking over to me, but stopped when she was in front of me. "I don't know why you were kissing him, but I'm just going to say this; Logan was the best guy you could have dated and you just ruined it for some jerk.", she said, scowling at Kaden before leaving the house.

Tears picked up in my eyes. She just basically called me a slut and I didn't like that. Kaden got up and came over to me the tears escaped from my eyes. He wrapped his arms around my, but I kept my arms to my side, feeling frozen. I can't believe this, my best friend since forth grade who always said Kaden and I should just get together called me a cheating slut.
