"You both will have a week and half of detention.", Principle Hanley said. Tabby and I were in front of his desk and not only was Tabby given off steam, but so was I. I wanted to just finish what we were doing in the caf and ruin that pretty face of hers! "Since you both haven't gotten in trouble this year so far, I'll give you both a break. Jesse, I see your not a girl to get detentions really and Tabby, the only detentions I see listed are only because of a few homework assignments missing from the las couple of years. I wont call your parents, but if you two ever cause something like you just did, I wont hesitate to call them and suspend you both for three days. Do you both understand?", he asked and we nodded and said 'yes sir". "What were you two fighting about anyways?",

"Nothing.", I said the same time she said, "She stole somebody from me.",

I looked at her in shock, though I was more then pissed, "Stole him? He wasn't your to began with.",

She scowled at me, "You knew I wanted Kaden!", she hissed.

"He was my best friend!",

"Yes and I thought you were my friend too!",

Before I could yell back, Principle Haney spoke, "Ladies, stop! You were really fighting because of a boy?",

I ignored him, "You slept with Logan five seconds after I broke up with him--literally! Nice of you to follow the girl code.",

She snorted, "That codes ends when your friend is a lying backstabber!",

"Backstabber? What about you! You kissed Jamie Rolled last year when you knew I liked him!",

She rolled her eyes, "Oh get over it! He wasn't a good kisser anyways.",

"Ladies!", Principle Haney yelled, smacking the desk. He rose from his chair, "Look, I really don't want two suspend two girls just because of teenager boys! You shouldn't let boys come between your friendship.",

I snorted, "She's hardly my friend anymore.", I muttered.

Tabby just rolled her eyes.

Principle Haney sighed heavily, "Look, you two just get to class.", he said as he started to fill out hallway passes. "I mean it, you both go to class. I don't want you two around each other at school until you two can be around each other without fighting. I don't want to see you two back in here unless it's for something else. Understand?",

We just nodded, "Yes.",

We stepped out of the office and before she went her separate way, she said, "Slut.",

"Trailer trash.", I came back before walking away, but not missing the satisfying gasp coming from her.

So Hayden High has two different detention rooms. One was next to the gym and the other one was near the entrance of the school. It was a normal size like a teachers room, but their were only tables and a desk.

I just got in the room and happy that Principle Haney separated Tabby and I in different room. I sat down near the back and happy that they're was only two freshmen guys in here, but they were in the front, completely ignoring me.

The door opened and Logan came in. My mouth dropped a little and so did his when he noticed me. My anger grew and I just looked down at my hands as they played together. He comes anywhere near me, I swear, I'll hurt again this time.

He choose the seat the was in the back, but far away from me. Good.

Five minutes and the teacher closed the door. He went back to his desk and starting grading some papers. I took out my homework just to do it so I wont have to worry about it later and can just be with Kaden.

A minutes later, I felt Logan gaze on me. I turn my head and he quickly looked away. I rolled my eyes and went back to my math problem.

My phone went off loudly and I jumped. I quickly reached into my bag and as the song continued, my cheeks heated up so bad, I wouldn't be surprise if my face look like a tomato.

I kept repeating to myself to hurry as I dug throw my bag until I found it and pressed a button for it to stop. I saw it was a text message from Logan, but before I could open it, the phone was snatched out of my hand.

"You can get this back when detention over, understand Ms. Karsh?", Mr. Price asked and I nodded.

As he turned around to walk away, I turned my head and glared at Logan who had this apologetic look on his face.

Fifteen minutes have passed and I just got done doing my math homework Mr. Price cleared his throat, "I will be right back in five minutes. I have to go back to my room and make some copies on some papers. I don't want to hear any talking when I come back.", he said and got up. He walked over to the door and looked at us serious, "No talking unless you want another detention and we both wont want that.", he said and left.

A moment passed and I heard Logan chair screech and I gave him a confused look as he walked over and took the seat next to me, "I need to talk to you.", he said.

"No.", I said simply and put my homework in my bag. "Go away. I have a week and half of detention already. I don't need to add more the list.",

He snorted, 'Five minutes my ass. Mr. Price isn't really going to go do that. He's going Mrs. Hudson room to get laid.",

My eyes widen, "What? Your lying, she's married.",

He shrugged, "So, she doesn't care but most people don't seem to care when they're cheating.", he said and both our faces dropped in shock. My nose scrunched up and I grabbed my bag to move, but he grabbed my arm, "Wait, I'm sorry! I didn't mean it like that.". I felt gazes on us and we turned our head to see the two freshmen staring at us, "Mind your damn business, niners.", he said in his senior threaten voice and I just rolled my eyes as they quickly turn they're heads around.

"I have nothing to say to you, Logan.", I said, trying to snatch my hand out of his.

"I was drunk and high! I don't even remember doing that. Hell, I don't even remember even sleeping with Tabby.", he said. "Please, just talk to me. I'm sorry.",

I snatched my arm back, "What about what you did in the caf? Are you sorry for that? Your such a jerk, Logan.",

"I was angry, but now I realized I was stupid.", he said as he got up from the chair. "Look, if it wasn't for Kaden dad who said just go on in, I wouldn't have found out. You were cheating on me for god sakes.",

"Yes, but I felt really horrible for doing it.", I told him. "I want to apologize that night and hoping you'll understand that it wouldn't work out. Instead, I had to pull you off me and see you screwing Tabby a minute later.",

"I was drunk and high-",

"Doesn't excuse what you did.", I told him. "They do say your true side comes out when your drunk. Is that what you want from me? Just to have sex with you?",

"Of course not.", he said quickly. "I was being stupid and shouldn't have done that. What we did that day, we both did wrong.",

Taking a moment to understand that he was right about that. "I guess that does show we are meant to be together.",

"Jesse, please, don't.", he said. "Seeing you with Kaden is hard enough. What I had with Tabby is over.",

"Logan, it wouldn't work anyways.", I told him. "Kaden is my best friend and I think it would be better if I was with him instead.",

"Why?", he asked. "He's a jerk. He's rude and possessive. Just because he's your best friend doesn't mean you should choose him over me. I treated you right.",

"I'm not saying you didn't.", I told him. "But believe me, there is something deeper between me and Kaden.",

"Like?",

"We have a past.", I told him. "Kaden and I have a past together. We grew up together and have been there for each other no matter what.",

He seemed taken back and couldn't respond to that quickly, "I guess I can't compete with that.",

"I'm sorry, Logan.", I said. "Look, I'm sorry for hurting you and I didn't mean to, but you have to understand it wouldn't work. It's your senior year, you should be partying and having the time of your life. Making bad choices and getting into trouble. Not spending the weekend at my house bored."

"I didn't mind that, though.", he said. "But, if your happier being with Kaden, I guest I can't stop you from being happy.",

"Thanks.", I said and sat back down on the chair.

"But I wonder how happy Kaden being the same detention room with Tabby.", he said and I looked up at him confused.

"What?",

"Uh,", he said, scratching the back of his head. "I kind of picked a fight with Kaden. We got a week of detention.",

"What?", I repeated, but more demanding.

"Sorry, I didn't-",

"Kaden in the same room as Tabby?", I asked, feeling my blood pressure rise. The thought of Tabby around Kaden made my blood boiling. I made my way towards the door, "The shank better not try anything--hey!", I yelled when Logan grabbed my arm and turn me around.

"You really want to piss off Mr. Price and get another detention for leaving?", he asked and I groaned, forgetting that I was in detention.

"Dang it, I forgot.", I said and sat down at a random desk and put my hand under my chin. "We still go thirty five minutes left.", I said, more to myself.

I quickly walked up to Mr. Prince and gave him a child like smile, "Hey, I'm sorry my phone went off in class. I really thought I turned if off after I called my parents.", I said. Mr. Price is a handsome man with pushed back dark hair in his later twenties.

I just never took him to be the one to have an affair with a married woman.

He handed me, "Next time, make sure it's off. And one thing, I hear enough Taylor Swift at home with my daughter, so make sure it's off.",

"Yes sir.", I said and took it. As I walked out of the room to see I got a message from Melanie also. I checked to see what Logan sent me and I stopped walking when I read it I'm sorry, I miss you. You look very beautiful today.

I sighed heavily and a little guilt built up, but it did my best as I approached the entrance of the school where the other detention room was. I saw Tabby come out angrily and when she noticed me, she scuffed, pushed her hair back, and stomped out.

That made me feel a little relax.

I was a inch closer when Kaden came out and he jumped back, "Damn, I thought I could make it to my car before you got here.",

"Hmm, nice try--what is this?", I asked, putting my hand on his chin to turn his face to the right and saw a pink lipstick mark on his cheek. I dropped my hand and my hands balled into a fist, "I knew I should've left.",

"Relax, Jesse-bug.", he said and I scowled at him for calling me that. "I pushed her away after she did it, but I will admit it got three more days of detention for it.",

"You pushed her?", I asked.

"She was working up my last nerves, but be lucky I didn't shift. That would have been messy.",he said. "So,", he said, sounded annoyed. "How was your detention?",

"Well, did you know Mrs. Hudson is cheating on her husband with Mr. Price?", I asked.

He nodded, "Yeah. Everyone in the twelfth grade knows that. She's a real slut, though. She also screwed Principle Haney",

"What?", I asked in disbelief as we walked out of the building. "How do you know this?",

"Marcus had to go see him and saw them. He took a picture so people would believe him, but it was mostly of her--naked.", he said and my nose scrunched up. "So, did Logan say anything to you?", he asked as we got in his car.

"Yeeaah.", I said slowly and hesitantly. "He apologize and we both talked. It took a minute, but I got him to understand that I'm with you now. Now tell me about this fight you two had.",

He turned in his seat to look at me, "Okay first, he started it. He tempted me and I couldn't stop myself from punching his face.",

"I know, he said he started it.", I told him. "Well, at least now I know I'll always have a ride home until next week.",

We chuckled, "I would have waited until you were finish anyways. I don't like you walking around alone anyways.",

"I'm not a little girl, Kaden.",

"Yes, but the need to have you always safe is dwelt inside me.", he said. "But I'll admit, I would have left to go get a coffee and something to snack on.",

"Oh, so you would leave just to go get food. Nice to know how much you care.", I sarcastically said. He chuckled and put his hand under my chin and leaned over to kiss me.

"Come on, I want to go to the woods.", he said as he pulled away and started the car.

"The woods?", I questioned as I raised an eyebrow.

"Tabby irked the shit out of me the whole time. I guess me not given her attention back must've irked her back from the way she left class.", he said. "I need to be in my wolf form or I'll be moody all day.",

"Okay.", I said, even though I wanted to admit I was nervous to see him as a wolf.

I leaned against a tree when we got into the woods and walked for about half a mile in. Kaden took off his jacket and shirt, "You can look, but not touch.", Kaden sarcastically said and I just realized I was staring. My cheeks burned up and I looked away.

I heard something crack and my head snapped up to saw it was coming from Kaden as his hand clenching in and out into a fist and I stepped forward, "Kaden?",

"I'm okay, it's normal--argh.", he groaned and fell on his knees. His hand went to his knees and he undid his pants. He quickly took them off and I looked away right when he took his briefs off. Suddenily, a growl filled my ears.

I looked back and a pair of grey eyes stared back at me from a giant dog that stood my height. I felt nervous, scared, an anxiously. I bit the right side of my lower lip and when it stepped closer to me, I jerked. He lowered his head a little and walked up to me.

With it's nose, he nudged my shoulder and my upper body turned a little along with it. He brought his mouth to my face and I felt his breathing from his nose. His tongue came out and licked my cheek.

My nose scrunched up and my fear left, "Ew, Kaden. Your tongue all big and sloppy.", I said, wiping my cheek with the back of my hand.

He breathed out his nose heavily and just did it again. I smacked at his nose gently as he went to do it again and he bit down on my sleeve on my jacket and swung it behind me. He put his nose in the crock of my neck and shoulder and exhale long and breath out a moment later.

I wrapped my arms around his big neck and I ran my finger in his fur and scratched behind his ear. He purred a softly and I took comfort into his soft fur.

A moment later, I felt his paw go on the back of my leg and push forward, making me fall back on my butt. I scowled at him and I could just imagine him chuckling. He lowered his head and put his nose at the top of my head.

He lower his body and placed his head on my lap. I rubbed the top of his head and leaned down to kiss the top of it.

"My best friend, a Lycan. Never in a million year I thought I would say that.", I told him and he just snuggled his head on my lap.
