Why would I say that!?

Ugh, I'm an idiot.

Kaden eyes widen and he leaned up, "Whoa, okay. New game.", he said, grabbing my baby blue shirt and threw it to me and my belt.

People argued and said no, but Kaden just continued to throw everyone things back and they grumbled under their breaths about how lame he is. My cheeks were burning as I slid my shirt on and putting on my belt. I sat back down next to Logan who raised an eyebrow at me.

"U-um," I said, pushing my hair away. Why'd I have to go and say that? I don't even know why I said it. It just kind of came out of my mouth without my control. I hate Kaden for making me have that much courage.

He chuckled and leaned over to my ear, "If you and Melanie kissed, don't worry, I don't mind. It's kind of hot if you think about it.", he whispered and my whole face redden up. Of course it's not true, but it still made me blush for some reason.

"Okay, I got one.", Tabby said and she grabbed an empty bottle from a table next to the couch. "How about spin the bottle?",

"That's really middle school, Tabby.", Melanie said and I agreed.

"Yes,", she said, pointing at the bottle at us. "But theses boys still get to get free kisses or if we're lucky, a boy kisses another boy.", she chuckled.

A guy name Derek raised his hand, "I'm in for kissing Tabitha and Sammy.", he said and he slapped the guy next to him his as they chuckled.

Tabitha grinned at him, "If your lucky. We'll make this interesting; whoever you land on, you have to go in a that closet for a whole minutes and do whatever you want with each other or be a punk and kiss here. Make this mature. Deal?",

Everyone laughed and agreed. I just grinned and shook my head at Tabby idea's. She gave Melanie the bottle since the last game stopped at her and Melanie spun the bottle in the middle of the table and it landed on a Derek. Derek grinned at her and Melanie blushed hard, but leaned over the table and they kissed.

I saw Jason roll his eyes and Melanie leaned away three seconds later. Jason went and surprisingly, it landed on Danny. "Oh hell no!", Jason yelled as he laughed.

Danny pointed at himself, "What? What's wrong with me Jason baby?", he sarcastically said and we all laughed. He waved Jason off, "Oh whatever! You weren't my type anyways.",

The girl that started the first game spun and it landed on the girl next to her. They grinned at each other and got up and went over to the closet as guys watched with lustful eyes and groaned--but Logan and Kaden.

A minute later, the two girls came out and had grins on their faces still. This kept going until it reached Kaden and he spun and it landed on Tabby. His eyebrows raised and I saw a playful smile on his face as he looked at me. I felt my blood starting to rise to my neck and my hands balled up in a fist. He wouldn't kiss her!

Their lips touched and he wrapped his hand around her neck. It took all I got to control myself from lashing out toward them and ripping them apart. I saw Kaden on his eyes and look at me and he grinned when he leaned away. My mouth dropped.

That asshole, I cursed in my head. Calm yourself down, Jesse. Who cares? You shouldn't.

The game continued to play and one girl land on Logan, but he just quickly pecked her. Logan turned came up and he landed on Jason and they both quickly rejected. I spun the bottle then and it landed on Logan. Before I could lean over to kiss him, he got up.

Oh.

Well, payback is a bitch.

I gladly took his head and gave Kaden grin as I got up and walked over to the closet with Logan.

We went into the closet and Logan grinned down at me, "Finally, alone time.", he said and when he leaned down to kiss me, the door brust open and Kaden grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and threw him out.

My mom dropped as Kaden came and held closed the door, holding the knob since the door doesn't lock. Logan started banging on the door and demanding Kaden open it.

"What the hell?", I hissed at him. "What are you doing Kaden?",

"You really think I was going to let him kiss you? I'll be damned if I let that happened.", he hissed back.

I crossed my arms over my chest, "You are damned! Remember?",

He faked chuckled, "Very funny. Now, come over here and kiss me.",

My eyes widen, "Excuse me?",

He shrugged, "Why not? You admitted you liked it.", he grinned.

My cheeks and neck burned up, "I-I lied about that.",

He snorted, "Yeah right. Like your really going to tell me you were talking about Melanie. And I saw that pissed off expression when I kissed Tabitha.",

My nose scrunched up, "I could hardly care.",

He chuckled for real this time, "Come on, the quicker you do it the quicker Logan will shut up.",

"No.", I said.

"Yes.",

"No.",

"Yes.", he said, grabbing my upper arm and pulled me forward to him and I stumbled onto his chest and he quickly wrapped his hand behind my neck and pressed my lips up against his. It was like fire was lit up all over my body.

Suddenly, Kaden fell backwards and the door opened and we fell on the floor and both groaned.

"Jerk.", I groaned as I leaned up from his chest.

"Brat.", he said back.

Logan helped me up and he scowled down at Kaden, "I wouldn't dare do that again, Kaden.", he said as Kaden got up.

Kaden took a step closer and got in Logan face, "Yeah? What are you going to do about it if I do?",

Logan pushed Kaden away and Kaden grabbed Logan shirt, "Stop it!", I yelled, putting a hand on Kaden shirt to stop him. I looked at Kaden seriously and he breathed out his nose heavily, but let Logan go.

Kaden house phone went off and surprisingly, so did mine? We looked at each confusingly. He went over to his house phone and I reached into my pocket.

"Hello?", I said as Kaden said, "Yes?",

"Is this Jesse Karsh, daughter of John and Sarah Karsh?", a lady asked.

More confused, I answered, "Yeah...?", hesitantly, wondering why she wants to know.

"Hi, I'm a nurse from Clamber's Hospital. I wanted to inform you that your parents have been in a car accident.", she told me.

I froze, staring at Kaden who's eyes also widen and he looked at me. My parents were with his parents. Oh God. Are they alright? Oh my god, please let them be alright!

"Jesse?', the nurse said.

I finally spoke, "I-I'm here. A-are they al-alright?", I stuttered, feeling my eyes water up and Logan put his hand on my shoulder and Melanie got up and came over to me.

"Yes, they're both fine. Your father neck was injured, but not seriously and had one broken rib. You mother broke her arm and she has some bad bruises, but other then that, they're both fine.", she told me and I sighed in relief, but Kaden cried out.

"What? My mother in a what?", he yelled and a moment later, he slammed the phone down on the table and grabbed his keys and walked over to the door.

"Can I come and see them--Kaden, wait up!", I yelled as I ran after him.

"Yeah.", the nurse said and I didn't even say bye and hung up.

I got in the passenger seat and looked at him. "What's wrong?", I asked as he stuck his keys in the ignition.

"My mom in some kind of coma.", he said and drove away from his house. "Doctors say it's serious--god damn!", he yelled when we got to a light and quickly stopped the far, swing me forward, but I placed my hands on the dashboard.

"Kaden, calm down.", I said, reached out and touched his arm, which was unusually hot, making me move my hand away. He looked at me, his chest rising and lowering. "What did they say?",

"Our parents were in accident with another car. My dad got a few cuts, but the other car slammed into my mom side and they're car hit your parents. My mom was badly hurt and she--she wont wake up.",

I didn't know what really to say to that, so I just stayed quiet the whole time we rode to the hospital. When we got there, we got out and I had to jog to keep up at how fast Kaden was walking. The doors slid open and we went in and went over to the counter.

"Hey, I'm here for Joseph and Claire Brooks. They just came in about an two hours ago from a car crash.", he said.

"And I'm here for John and Sarah Karsh.", I told her.

She nodded and typed some stuff in and pointed at Kaden, "Kaden Brooks and Jesse Karsh?", she asked, pointing at us and we nodded. "Okay, both your parents are in the on the same floor. Jesses, your parents are in room 617 and Kaden, your father is in room 620.",

We both thanked her and we quickly walked over to an elevator. When we got in, I looked at Kaden, "You alright now?",

He was staring at the doors, "Yeah--I mean, it's just a coma. She isn't dead, I just needed to calm down.", he said, but I saw that he was have an adreline rush since he kept tapping his foot against the floor until the door open.

"I said where the hell is she!", we heard Joe yell and we looked at each other confused and ran out of the elevator turned to our right.

"Sir, please, calm down.", we heard a doctor.

"You don't tell me where the fuck she is, I swear to god.", Joe growled and we went into his room and saw three strong looking guys holding Joe back from the doctor who was getting a needle ready. Joe used his elbow and punched the guy on his right and did the same to the other guy.

"Dad!", Kaden yelled and ran over to him and held him back before he could attack the doctor. "Dad, calm the hell down!",

"Kaden, let go of me now!", Joe yelled.

Kaden used his knees to kicked the back of Joe legs and Joe fell on his knees and the doctor quickly stuck the needle in his arm and a few moments later, Joe eyes began to flutter and he passed out. The two nurses took Joe and put him back in his bed.

"God, what's went wrong with him?", I asked as I walked over to Kaden who watched his father.

"Mr. Brooks woke up and wanted to know what happen to Mrs. Brooks, but he wouldn't give us time to tell him she's fine, but in a coma.", the doctor said. "In all my seven years, I have never seen a man that worried for his wife.", he said in amazement to himself.

"My dad loves my mom very much though.", Kaden said, taking a seat down next to his dad. I went up behind him and put my hand on shoulder.

"Doctor," one of the male nurses said as he walked over to the other side of the bed. "Didn't this man come up with cuts on his face and arms.?",

"Yeah, why--what the?", he questioned when he looked down at Joe scratches body. "That's impossible.",

Kaden just put his face in his hands and rubbed his temples.

A few minutes later, I told him I was going to go see my parents and he nodded. I walked out of the room and went on the opposites side of the hallway until I came to room 617. I opened the door to my mom and dad on beds. My dad had a neck brace on and my mom had a cast around her right arm.

"Hey," I said, bring they're attention to me.

My dad winced and groaned as he leaned up on his bed and I went over to help him. He thanked me and smiled, "Thanks Jesse-Bug.",

"Your welcome.", I said and grabbed a chair and put it in-between they're beds. "How are you guys?",

"We're alright.", my mom said. "How's Joe though? We heard him yelling.",

"He's...alright, too. But he's worried about Claire.", I told them and they both nodded--well, my mom did. My dad cursed under his breath when he tried.

About fourty minutes later of talking and the nurses telling us they can go home in two days, visiting hours were over and Kaden and I walked out of the hospital, but I grabbed his arm.

"Can--can we go for a walk?", I asked, pointing the hospital direction where his car was.

He looked confused, "Uh, sure.", he said and we headed towards a near by park.

I had a question that's been bugging me for a while now. "Why'd you tell me?", I asked and looked down at me confused.

"Tell you what? That's I'm a Lycan?", he asked and I nodded. He sighed, "Cause Jesse, the lie was killing me and you had the right to know. Even, I wanted you to stop digging threw my underwear draw.", he said and I punched his arm. "No, really, I wanted to tell you cause lying to you felt like it was killing me on the guilt. I can't hide things from you Jesse, it's like a weight of horrible guilt.",

"What happened the night of your birthday?", I asked.

He looked down at the ground, "It was a family reuion, but we only have them when the boys our family turns eighteen. We're gathering in the forest and making a huge circle around a camp fire and retell the on how the curse was made. Then they chain us up.",

"Why?",

"Cause we have no control of ourselves for the first few times like I said before. The older Lycan holds the chain as we shift slowly and painfully. At ten thirteen is when my changing began and it didn't stop for at least twenty minutes until I was fully a wolf. That's when we're free of the chains and the other Lycans quickly turn in they're wolfs and they each battle me down until I change back.", he said and sighed. "I swear, I thought I was dying that night.",

"Does Angela know what you are?",

He nodded, "Of course and she promise to keep the family secret.",

"Where were you guys the days after that?",

"My mom and Angela were at our cousin house while I continued to change. I was at another house with my dad and some of the males in my family as they continued to help me with the process. My dad wanted the family to be together and that's why my mom and Claire stayed. When it got around the time my dad can the only one to take care of me, that's when we came back.", he told me.

We got the park and we went over to a swing set. I sat down with a sigh and looked up at the sky, "So, the whole only turning on a full moon isn't true?",

He chuckled and sat down, "No, it isn't true. Most of that Hollywood shit isn't true. But we can heal fast and can't touch silver is.",

I looked at him, "Really?",

"Do you ever see silver in the house?", he asked and rasied an eyebrow.

Realizing I never have, my eyes widen, "Oh, wow. Does it burn you or something?",

He nodded, "Yes.",

"Why would the gypsy give you the ability to heal?", I

"Cause if your Bounder didn't come to you and if you get hurt, then you can't die unless you fully shot yourself in the head.", he said. "It's was consider a curse back then to heal quickly and not dying until old age and natural causes--alone.",

"Oh.", I said. I looked back up at the stars, but I felt Kaden eyes on me.

"Now it's my time to ask something.", he said. "Why wont you be with me, Jesse?",

I bit my lower lip and closed my eyes tightly. I sighed heavily and opened my eyes to look at him, "Cause I'm with Logan and he didn't do anything wrong to just leave him. I like him a lot.",

"But you love me.", he said, not really making it a question.

Not really arguing with that since we both know that's true, I just looked in his purplish-blue eyes. I opened my mouth and hesitate, "I-I know, but still. I just don't want to break up with Logan and be with you. It feels wrong and it'll look mess up that I'll suddenly just end up being with you the next day.",

"But do you know what's it's like for me?", he asked and I raised an eyebrow. "It's like I'm going threw depression and all I can think about when I see you with him is that there no hope to even live.",

"You're being dramatic-",

"It's true, though.", he hissed and got up. "It's how I feel--literally. It's how a Lycan feels when their Bounder isn't near or with them. I can't help but feel alone and how I see the world is so much different. It's like how you feel on a rainy day--depressed and lonely.",

I just looked up at him, not sure what to say. I felt so terribly bad and confused. I didn't know what was right anymore. I knew I shouldn't leave Logan just because of this curse and cause Kaden wants me to. But I don't want Kaden to feel like that anymore.

"Just look at it like this Jesse,", he said. "You'll be the reason for my death if I die.",

Ah, hell.
