When Kaden pulled up to my house, I got out before he could even turn his car off. I threw my purse over my shoulder and crossed my arms over my chest angrily as I made my way towards my house.

"Jesse, wait up!", I heard Kaden say as he got out the car.

"Leave me alone, Kaden!", I yelled to him.

Kaden at least tried to pick two fights with Logan! Ugh, he was being so annoying the whole time at the festival! Along with his possessive and demanding ways, he pretty much ruined my night! He even almost punched Logan in the face for tell him off when he wanted to drive me home instead of him.

I felt an hand go around my upper arm and turned me, "Just talk to me!", he said.

I pulled away from him, "Why?",

"I'm sorry, okay.", he said quickly. "I know I was being an ass, but I couldn't help it! He was tempting me!",

I snorted and rolled my eyes, "Whatever, Kaden. He wasn't the one being possessive and rude.",

"Yes he was!", he shouted.

"Yes, but you started it!", I shouted back and turning back around to go up to my house. I opened the door, but before Kaden could come in, I slammed the door behind him and locked it.

My mom came out of the dinning room, "I heard shouting, what's happen?", she asked.

"Kaden's what happen.", I said as I walked up the stairs to my room. I closed the door and went over to my bed and laid down. I took my pillow from underneath my head and laid it over my face and screamed behind it. Once I took all my anger out by screaming, I took it off my face and laid it on my stomach. "Kaden, Kaden, Kaden...", I repeated his name in disapproval as I shook my head.

A few hours later...

Tap, tap, tap...

I groaned and grimace when I woke up to Kaden tapping on my window...again. I was hoping that he'll get that when I'm angry, I don't want to see him. Why in hell would I want to see him now after what he did today?

I leaned up and opened the window, "Go away, Kaden.",

"I wanna go somewhere. Come with me.", he said, taking my hand.

Shocked by what he said, I looked at him like he was crazy, "Huh? What are you talking about?", I asked as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.

He smiled, "It's a surprise.",

"Can't it wait till the morning?", I asked. "Even, I can't just sneak out. My parents would kill me if they realize.",

He lightly chuckled, "They haven't realized I been sleeping over for the past week.",

"That's different.",

"How?", he asked, arching an eyebrow.

I took a moment to think of how it was, but then I realized it wasn't. I sighed, "I'm still not going. For all I know, you could be kidnapping me.",

He grinned, "Doesn't sound like such a bad idea.". I just pursed my lips at him annoyingly. He tugged my hand, "Come on, Jesse. Rules are made to be broken. I promise we wont be gone for to long time. I'll bring you right back before the sun come up.",

"I don't know...", I slowly said.

"Come on, it's not like I'm asking you to kill someone. I just want to take you somewhere so we can hang out.", he said.

"We hung all week.", I said, feeling tired again, ready to go back to bed. I snatched my hand out of his. I laid the blanket over me as I laid back down, "Go home.",

I snuggled up against my pillow, but next thing I know, Kaden arm wrapped around my stomach and pulled me out of the window. Kaden closed my mouth when I squealed in surpise. He sat me down on the roof of the porch as I started to kick at him.

"How the hell did you do that?", I whispered, but hissed it. "You can't be the strong!",

He grinned as he stood up, "You'll be surpise how strong I am.",

Next thing I knew, he jumped off the roof. I gasped, ready to hear his yell in pain. Just because the roof it above the porch doesn't mean it isn't high! As he gone completely insane now?

"Jesse, jump!", he whispered loudly to me.

"What?", I whispered loudly back. "Are you crazy? I'm not breaking my neck because of you!",

He chuckled, "I wont let that happen! I'll catch you, I promise.",

I gave him a fake laugh, "I'm still not doing it. You must be crazy if you think I am.",

"Just do it.", he said. "Or I'll come back up there and get you myself, but I rather just catch you instead of risking waking your parents by your fussiness.",

I pressed my lips together, "I don't throw fusses!",

"Yes you do. You doing it now. Look, if you don't slid down, I'll just raise my voice louder and say your name. I'm not scared of getting caught.", he said. When I didn't say anything back, he said loudly, "Fine, I guess-",

"Shhh!", I hissed when his voice raised. "Fine, I'll come down.", I said.

Hesitating at first, I slowly slid down the roof till my legs dangled over the edge and I became afraid of slipping and falling off the roof.

"Come on, just slid off. I'm right under you.", he said.

Taking a deep breath and closing my eyes, I let myself slid off the roof and quickly land in Kaden arms. But my arms quickly wrapped around his neck as I held onto him, feeling myself shake. Sure, it may not seem like nothing to you, but to me, it was scary. I don't just jump off things that are more then ten feet! I'm starting to wondering how Kaden gets up there.

Kaden chuckled, "Dropping off roofs are we now. Real dismal in distress move, Jesse.",

I lifted my head and scowled him, "Shut up, Kaden.". I finally just realized something, I have no shoes on. Just socks. "Nice job, idiot. I'm wearing no shoes.",

"Ah, see, that's where I thought ahead. I remember you left a pair of sandles in my car.", he said and smirked. I just pressed my lip roughly together as I shook my head and he walked over to his car. He opened the front door for me and finally put me down.

"Kidnapper.", I mumbled under my breath and all he did was laugh as I got in the car.

As Kaden pulled up to lake, I gave him a confused look, "Why did you bring us all the way out here?",

"Cause," he said and grinned. "We're going for a swim.",

My mouth dropped, "Are you crazy? What if someone comes by and see us?",

"Jesse, it's two in the morning and completely dark out. No one going to see us, I promise.", he said as he opened the door and got out. He bent down to say to me, "Come on or we're going to be out here all night.",

I crossed my arms over my chest, "You're insane, you know.",

"I know. You kept saying it the whole way here.", he said and grinned. "Look, if you wont get out, I'll just drag you out and you know I will.",

"It's to cold to swim.", I said, even though I know he knows I'm lying. It's pretty warm out to tell you the truth.

"Not ah.", he said. "Come on, it'll be fun. It's not like I'm saying we should go skinny dipping. I mean," he said, grinning bigger, " unless if you want to.",

I rolled my eyes and groaned as I unbuckled my seat belt. I grumbled under my breath about how stupid and idiotic this is as I got out the car. "You car going to get wet afterwards.", I told him as we made our way towards the lake.

He shrugged, "I'll open my windows in the morning to dry. It's not like it would be the end of the world.",

We continued to walk in silence until we got to the dock. Kaden quickly slid off his shirt and I was in shock, "Your actually going to go in?", I asked.

He chuckled, "Why else would I bring us out here, Jesse?",

"Why the hell would you bring me out here anyways?", I asked. "I'm not going in there!", I said, pointing at the water.

He undid his pants as he said, "Yes, you are. I'm not swimming alone.". He dropped his pants and I looked away, my cheeks burning now when I quickly looked at his briefs. Jeez, he sure did grow out of boxers. He laughed, "Ah, there's those virgin blushes.",

"Shut up!", I hissed. I looked back at him, "And it's no different from your swim trunks, jerk.",

"Sure.", he said with a smug look on his face. He kicked off his shoes and socks. He raised his arms above his head and jumped in the water. A moment later, he swam back up to the top and ran his hand threw his hair, "Jump in already.",

I shook my head and crossed my arms over my chest, "No.",

"Do it.", he ordered.

Again, I shook my head, "No. I'm not crazy like you.",

"Oh come on.", he said. "The water great.", he said as he splashed some cold water up at my legs.

"No.",

"Yes.",

"No.",

"Yes, or I'll get out of here and get you myself.", he said. "Your making this hard, Jesse. If you'll just loosen up a little, you'll know what real fun is. Let your hair down for once.",

"My hair is down, jerk.", I said, rolling my eyes.

He gave me an annoyed look now, "You know what I meant, brat.",

After a moment of glaring at him, trying to make him disappear, I slipped off my sandals and socks. He smiled and swam backwards, making room for me. I hesitated before letting my pajama pants down. I'm just happy it was at least dark enough not to see my booty shorts. I kept my green tank top of as I jumped in the cold water.

I already felt myself shaking in the cold water as I swam back up to the top. I took in a deep breath as I got to the top and pushed my hair backwards, "Damn, it's freezing!", I said and brought my hands up to hug myself.

"You'll get use to it in a minutes.", he said. He took my wrist and brought me closer to him.

I jerk backwards, "Oh my God Kaden, you didn't! Please tell me you didn't! Your gross!", I said, kicking away when I felt the water around him was a little warm. That was such a childish move to pee in the water! Ugh.

He got what I meant, "Don't be stupid, Jesse. I'm not an anima--nevermind. But just trust me, I didn't.", he said, taking my hands again.

I let him drag me over to him, "Then why is a little warmer over here?",

He shrugged, "They do say when you go in closer to the middle, it's the warmest.",

"Really, I thought when they say if you go out frather, it's the warmest.", I said, my eyebrows forwarding together.

Again, he shrugged, "Who knows. I don't remember. Just my guess.",

I put a hand on his shoulder and felt his hot skin, "Why is your skin so hot? Are you getting sick?", I asked.

"Um," he said, biting down on his lower lip nervously. "No...my blood just naturally hot. Runs in the family.",

"Oh.", I said, my mouth forming an 'O'. Changing the subject, I said, "I still don't forgive you for what you did yesterday.",

He frowned, "I'm sorry, Jesse. It's just...I don't want to lose you.",

"Your not going to lose me, Kaden.", I said. "Where on earth would you get that idea?",

"I don't know.", he said as he shrugged. "I guess...I guess because I'll be graduating this year, I wont see you once I go off to college and it might be far away. I just want to spend as much time with you as I can.",

The thought of him leaving me here in Hayden made my eyes water up. I don't want him to leave New Mexico. I want him here with me so we wont be separated. Why does he have to be two years older than me? It's not the end of the school year already and I miss him. But I can't ecstatically tell him not to leave. I'll be ruining his future.

Kaden noticed my sad look and pulled me closer to him. We hugged each other and I laid my forehead in the space of his shoulder and neck.

I blinked the wanting tears back and swam backwards when I knew I wasn't going to brust out in tears. I gave him a fake smile, wanting to change the subject. I bopped my head fruther out in the water, "Come on, I'll race ya.",

After an hour of playing the water, Kaden and I got out the water all wrinkled up and tired. When we got on the dock, we laid down on out backs tired and laughing.

"I think that's the most exercise I did in a long time.", I said as I laughed for no reason why.

Kaden chuckled, "Eh, that was like a walk in the park for me. It was fun though.",

I nodded, "Yeah.". I stared up at the crescent moon, "The moon looks really pretty tonight.", I said, but meant to think it. It just came out.

"Yeah, it is.", Kaden agreed surprisingly. "I never took in interest into it before, but now, I don't know. I think since there's no street lamps around it make the stars and moon stand out. It make it seem like it's closer then you think.",

I nodded, "Yeah, it does..". I chuckled at a memory. I lifted my hand in the air and held my thumb up to the moon, "My thumb as big as the moon.",

He chuckled along with me, "You must have a pretty big thumb.",

I turned my head and scowled at him as I hit his shoulder, "Shut up, jerk.",

He just grinned as he stared up at the moon. I saw in his eyes the blue seem like it was growing. Eyes can't change color, can they? I mean, I know they can. But hazel eyes can't just suddenly change to bluish-purple color. It's impossible.
