(Jesse)

Melanie came over an hour later and I couldn't stop myself from telling my best friend about what Kaden did tonight at dinner and my little make out session with Logan in the car.

"No he did not!", she excitedly said. "Kaden was actually rubbing your leg...at the dinning room table!",

I brought my index finger up to my lip, "Shhhh, Mel! Any loud and my dad will hear you!",

"Sorry," she said, lowering her voice. "Kaden was feeling you up?", she asked and giggled. "I knew that boy had balls, but to do that! Damn, he must really want you.", she said.

"Mel, that isn't the point. I feel a little guilty for letting him do that with Logan right there.", I told her. "I feel like such a bad girlfriend.",

"Oh," she said, her smile dropping. "You right, it was wrong of Kaden to do that.",

I nodded, "Yeah and not to mention so akward. How can I look at Kaden the same?",

She shrugged, "Ignore him for a couple of days.",

I hardly doubt that'll be possible right now with how Kaden acting. He's so possessive and demanding now and really, it was kind of...hot. God, I'm such an idiot. I bit my lower lip before telling her, "Mel, Kaden kissed me last Monday.",

Her mouth dropped, "What? And I'm just hearing about this now?",

"We decided to act like it never happened.", I told her. "And we were able to do that, but then last Saturday he came 'close up' to me.", I said, making hair quotes around 'close up'. She gave me a confused look, "I mean press his front body against my back and he bit my neck. He's acting so weird."

"Did you like it?", she randomly asked and I felt my cheek burned up.

"H-huh?", I nervously asked.

"I'm curious, did you like it? Did you feel...horny--haha!", she laughed as I pushed her off my bed. "You did!",

I grabbed my pillow and chucked it at her, "I did not.". Lie. "Mel, I'm serious! Help me. I don't know what to do. I want Kaden to back off and let me be. I need some breathing room and all he want to do is spend time with me!", I said, giving an annoyed look. Though it was annoying me, I kind of like it at the same time. He was choosing me over his friends made me feel a little special. All he does now is go to school, play soccer, and hang out with me. He even made me go to second try outs. He made the team for sure as everyone already knew he will. He'll be getting the announcement on Monday, though.

"Easy," she said. "Tell him that. Tell him to back off, that you want to hang out with your boyfriend--alone!",

I gave her annoyed look, "I have and he said 'no'.",

"Really?", she asked, raising an eyebrow.

I nodded, "Yeah. He came out Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with nothing but a straight out 'no.",

"Damn. He sure like to act like you father.",

"I know right!", I said loudly, feeling a headache come on.

Ding! The chat on my Facebook dinged and I grabbed it to see it was from Logan asking me if I'm going to Chace, both Kaden and Logan friend, cabin party tomorrow night. Hmm, I heard nothing about. I couldn't go to parties last year since I was only a freasman, but ever since the summer, I began getting more invitations.

I finally noticed I had a message and I clicked on the message button. It was one of those chain message where you can add different people, but an invitation from Chace, saying I could to his party.

"Hey Mel, check you Facebook on your phone.", I said, reading the direction on message.

"Kay.", she said, taking out her iPod and going on the internet. A moment later, she smiled, "Chace also ask you to come?". I nodded, "Are you going?",

I groaned sadly, "Doubt it. Like my dad will let me go to a party at night.". The only parties he'll let me go to is the one happening in the morning like pool parties.

I started to write back to Logan with my answer being know until Mel suggested, "You could always say your sleeping over at my house.",

I froze, looking down at her. "You think that'll work?", I asked.

She nodded, "Yeah. Jesse, your a goodie to shoes and they wouldn't think something up. You come over and get changed there. Then, we'll go to the party and you can sleep over for real. So really, your not lying.", she said and smiled at me.

I thought about it for a few moment. That can totally be pulled off! I smiled, "Sounds like a plan!",

"Good, cause we're going to need a ride and at times like this, it's a good thing your best friend has a boyfriend who can drive.", she said and chuckled. I pursed my lips at her, but knowing she's right.

I backspaced the whole message and smiled as I wrote back, 'Yeah. :). But you have to drive me and Melanie, or else. ;).'. He IM'd back saying that was okay as long as it'll be and him most of the night. I doubt I can make that as a promise since I'm sure Kaden going to be there. But he'll just have to deal with it!

Next Night

I was wearing nice skinny jeans and shoulder off blousy top with a some black flats. I turned around to Melanie, "How do I look?",

She looked over me and smile, "Casual, yet hot. How about me?", she asked. Melanie was wearing Denim dark shorts and strapless cheetah top with some one inch heels, "I don't look like I'm trying to hard.",

I shook my head and smile, "No, you look great. Even, there will be more reveling outfits there. Are you going to hanging out with Jason tonight?",

She nodded and smiled as she looked down at her hands which were playing with each other nervously, "Yeah," she said, but she sounded like she wanted to talk more.

I raised an eyebrow, "Well, what else? I know you want to say more.",

She hesitated, then walked over to her dresser draw and grabbed something. She walked over and held out some blue and a small square box. My eyebrows forward together and I took them. My eyes widen when I realized what they were. A box of condoms and a blue jacket with birth control. I took of the pack of pills out and saw the last three weeks were empty, "You going to have sex with him tonight?", I asked.

She nodded and bit down on her lower lip excitedly, "Yeah and I'm know I'm going to be fine just in case one of them break since that's my second pack and I haven't missed a day since I started.",

"Why am I just finding this out?", I asked, sliding the pack back in the blue jacket.

"I didn't know what you would say.", she admitted. "And no, I don't love Jason. I'm just tired of being a virgin and just wanted to get over it. So, if I get drunk, I wont feel much pain until the next day...I hope.",

I stared at her in shocked, "You're serious about this?", I asked, holding the box of condoms up."Cause sex is a huge thing, Mel.",

"I know that, Jesse, but if I have sex now and a few more times, it wont be painful anymore then when I do fall in love, I can make the guy night good and not be the hopeless virgin.", she said.

Well, it's not like I can stop her. Melanie known for doing things her way and not listening. "Um, okay, I guess. But I'm just saying, you should think a little more about this.",

She took the box of condoms and pills from me, "I have, Jesse. Ever since I got the first pack of pills. And even, Jason fine with it.",

I crossed my arms over my chest as she stuck the box and pack in her purse, "Of course he is.", I sarcastically said.

She pursed her lips at me, "Don't go mother role on me.",

"Speaking of you parents, do they know your doing this.", I asked.

"My mom does.", she said. "She didn't like the idea to, but she thought it I'm at least being safe, I can have sex. She promise to keep it from my dad since that man never around anyways.",

It was true, Melanie parents aren't together and he lives to towns away with a girl who is at least ten years younger then him. I felt bad Melanie and she said she doesn't care, but I can see the pain in her eyes. She doesn't see him a lot since she hates him for leaving her mom for a younger women.

Beeeep!

We heard Logan car outside and we looked out the window.

"Party time!", Melanie cheered. She swung her purse over her shoulder and we walked out the room. "So, does watch-dog Kaden know about you going?", she asked chuckling.

I rolled my eyes, "No, he does not. He'll just get over it...I hope. Anyways, I'm hoping this party gets him to leave me alone and I hate to say this since it's wrong, but he ends up screwing some girl and hopefully that'll make him leave me alone.",

She chuckled as we got to the door, "You have big wishes, Jesse. We're leaving mom, love you!", she yelled since her mom was upstair in her room doing school work since she went back to college.

"Love you, too! You better be safe!", she yelled back and Melanie and I giggled. "I'm to young to become a grandma!",

Melanie rolled her eyes, but kept quite. We left the house and over to Logan car. I got in the passenger and Melanie got in the back. Right as I got in, Logan leaned over and kissed me. I blushed up, but smiled back, "Hey.",

He opened his mouth to speak, but Melanie leaned forward in-between the front seat, "For my sanity, don't forget I'm here so no mushy couple talk. You to can get all close and whatever at the party, but right now, move Logan or you'll hear my nagging and believe me, it isn't pretty.",

Logan and I chuckled and he left to the party that was twenty minutes away in the woods.

Logan pulled up to cabin and teenagers were everywhere dancing, drinking, and making out outside the cabin and I could tell it'll be the same thing inside. Chace's parents cabin was right next to the lake, so kids were also swimming.

We all got out and Melanie didn't wait for us since she jogged towards the house, looking for Jason. I chuckled and just shook my head. Logan took my hand pulled me close to him. Some people said hi to us as walked up to the cabin and inside.

We went into the kitchen where Danny and some of his and Kaden friends were joking about something they did on the soccer field.

"Well, look who someone else on a leash.", Danny chuckled when he saw me. "What? Let Kaden off for the night?",

I pursed my lips and rolled my eyes, "Shut up, Danny.",

He shrugged, "Hey, I'm just saying. That boy spends more time with you now then us.",

"And you think that's my fault?", I asked. "Really, if I could snap my finger and make him hang out with you guys, I would after the third day. He's been acting so weird.",

They all nodded, "Yeah, he has. He seems to got to much faster and more competitive over the summer or something.", Johnny said. "Have you guys noticed he play at least five times much better on the soccer try outs?",

They all nodded again, "Yeah. And I knew he ate a lot before, but he's always eating now every minute he can. And those mood swings, what the hell are they about?", Michael asked.

"It's like he changed while he was gone on vacation.", Danny said. "I'm sure that's when he changed since he was perfect fine before. You guys don't think he is really on drugs, right?",

"He's doesn't look like he's on drugs.", I said.

"Just because you don't look like your on drugs doesn't mean you aren't, Jesse.", Danny said. "But he's always shaky when he plays and being more dominate and possessive. Those are signs and I know this cause my older cousin Trey use to do drugs. Jesse, your going to have to find out if he is.",

I pointed at my chest, "Me? Why me?",

"Why else?", he asked like it was totally obvious. "The only person he wants to be around now is you. You can go into his room and look around.",

"That's is an invasion of space and privacy, Danny.", I told him.

He scuffed and looked annoyed, "Jesse, who cares? If he is on drugs, we need to help him before he overdoses or something. Do you want Kaden to die?",

I shook my head, "No, of course not, but-"

"There no 'but' to it, your better search his room soon.", he said before walking away and the other guys nodded and fallowed.

I sighed and let my head fall in my hands and groaned.

"No, he's right there!", I said as I pointed at Logan phone and laughed when the other guy shot him dead. We were in the back yard and he was sitting down on, but he pulled me onto his lap and took out his phone and had games on it since it was getting a little boring just dancing and we didn't feel like talking to anyone. So, we're being dorks right now and playing video games. "Your dead, my turn!", I said, taking his phone and re-starting so I could play.

"He got a lucky move.", Logan said, rolling his eyes.

"Nah," I said, "You just suck. I'm awesome at shooting games since I use to play them all the time with Kaden when we were pre-teens. Even, don't you think me beating you by two times makes me awesome?",

"Your awesome for many reasons.", he said. I blushed up and I tried to hid the smile from forming my face, but my emotions powered over me. I started as the next game and started playing.

A moment later, I heard people talking loudly and looking over at us, "He doesn't look happy.",

"I wonder why he's looking for her, she isn't his girlfriend.",

"Damn, I never seen him so mad.",

"She's right out there, man.",

Before I could wonder what they're talking about, I heard Kaden yelled, "Jessica Mary Karsh!",

I jumped and the phone fell out my hand onto my lap at the hard cold voice. I turned my head to the house and saw Kaden look so pissed off as he walked down the stairs over to me. "H-hi, Kaden.", I nervously said as I got up from Logan lap.

He grabbed my upper arm, "What are doing here? Do you know your mom and dad would kill you if they found out you came here? Your lucky I came here before they found out.", he said

"Kaden, let go of me!", I said, tugging at my arm for him to let. "God, what is your problem!", I yelled.

"You lied to me.", he said. "I asked you if you were coming here and you said 'no'! I was coming over to hang out when I got a text saying you were here.",

"Kaden, your over reacting!", I said. "You need to cool off.",

"Okay, I will once we get to your house.", he said, pulling me away.

"Whoa, what?", Logan asked, getting up, grabbing my other arm and pulling me back. Oh great, the tug of war game again and sadly, I'm the rope again. "Who do you think you are, Kaden? Let go of my girlfriend.",

"Logan, if you like living, I warn you to let go of Jesse.", Kaden growled.

"And if you like having that face of your, you let go of her!", Logan said back.

Kaden took a threating step forward, "You think you can take me on, Logan? You shouldn't fighting me when it comes to what belongs to me.",

My eyes widen. Did Kaden just describe me as an object? Oh hell no! I put a hand on his chest, "Kaden, your acting crazy and causing a scene!", I said, looking around the gathering people. I can seem some of them holding up phone. Ah, hell. "Just--just go home! If you care about of our friendship, you go home--what the heck?", I questioned, leaning forward to Kaden face. The splash of blue in eyes look to be changing color to a grey and the grey was spreading. What the hell?

Logan noticed, "Damn...", he trailed off in total surprise.

Kaden gasped and let go of my arm, "U-um, I have to go!", he said, running away into the forest.

"Kaden, stop!", I said, watching him run so fast, I think it's pretty inhuman. I slid my arm out of Logan and ran towards the forest after Kaden. There's something wrong with him and I have a bad feeling it isn't good. "Kaden, where are you?", I yelled after him when I didn't see or hear him.

"Jesse!", I heard behind me and saw Logan run up behind me. "You can't come out here! There are wolves out here, remember!",

"Kaden also out here, though!", I said, feeling my fear build up at the thought of something happening to Kaden. "We have to find him.",

"Kaden probably ran back remembering.", he said, tugging at my arm to go back.

"Logan, please, stop!", I said, putting my weight on my feet. "I have a feeling he's still out here. Please, just help me find him and if we don't find him soon, we'll go back to the party.",

He hesitated, then groaned, "Fine, ten minutes though.",

I nodded, "Okay, ten minutes.",

Ahroo-woooo!

I jerked at hearing the howling of a wolf. Oh, jeez, if I die tonight, I'm going to being haunting Kaden so bad!
