"Are you out of your effing mind?" Britney's high pitched voice tore through the still night air and I winced.

"Can you keep it low please? I don't want Mr. Archer barging into the apartment at this unholy hour. He has already sent way too many complaints of paranormal activity."

"My volume must not be anywhere near the top of your priority list right now. You are actually considering calling Mor-"

Britney stops short when she hears the low muffled voices in the hallway. We look at each other and speak at the same time.

"Run."

Sparks appear at my fingertips and everything arranged itself neatly in a little case not much bigger than a single grape which I grabbed and shoved in my bag pack that Britney passed to me and picked up the compact mirror and hurried out of the window just before I heard the ancient door open and the flashlights shine on the walls. I opened a portal just below the sill I was standing on, turned towards the window and let myself fall. The last thing I saw was the lights beings switched on and Britney jumping off the ledge.

And then darkness engulfed me.

I know that I am a complete waste of your time but who can blame me for this combination of Doomsday and Armageddon that we students call Terminal Exams. That name is rutty good summary of its nature: terminal. But anyways I am pushing the story forward, even if by an inch but raise your hand if you've caught that hint of the new character that will be introduced soon. And she has a very important connection with the drool worthy character played by Logan Lerman whom you will see in the next chapter. Trust me, that guy is gonna set fire to the story.
