I couldn't believe It!

I couldn't believe that my Autumn, my BFF Autumn since the first day of kindergarten  cursed me.

But then again, maybe she didn't.

But I had to find out.

After interrogating my family (cough..cough, group of idiots) I had no other choice but to go undercover and look for clues.

But it had to be done when they are all asleep.

So I had to wait through the long boring, tiring, hot, uncomfortable day.

I watched my sister play games till my head hurt.

I watched my brother make endless paper airplanes and shoot them in the air.

I watched my dad sleep all day like a baby.

And I watched my mom cook the disgusting meal we ate today (haggis - and we only eat once a day now!)

Bleugh!

Just imagine from having three course meals (sometimes even four) with turkey, pizza, shawarma.. ohhh I can't go on! 

To this...

(I'm sorry I can't put a pic, I was too disgusted. Just imagine eating your worst food everyday).

Finally, it was time to go to bed.

They went to sleep instantly, but I stayed awake and waited a little more, just in case.

At 10pm, I slipped smartly out of bed, tiptoed across the floor, crossed over my brother and dad, avoided the dead rat and the cat eating it, prevented myself from projectile vomiting and jumped out the window. (We stay on the ground floor just in case you were wondering).

Ah.. freedom at last.

I knew Autumn's address so I knew how to get there.

The only question was, am I ready for the 1000km hike to her house just to find out if she cursed me or not and probably have my hopes crushed if she says no and find out my adventure was totally useless?

Yes, Yes I am.

Finally, after one car stealing ride, motorcycle ride and help from a pelican (don't ask), I made it to her house.

It was just as I remembered (which was what - three days ago?)

Luckily, they were all probably asleep so I could sneak in.

I saw an open window and I climbed in.

It was dark in the room but at the end of it, there was a picture and candles were surrounding it - My picture!

What the heck was going on?

I walked to the front and I saw Autumn's familiar writing saying "Jealous" over and over again on the picture.

This was way too creepy.

She had a picture of my house, my family, everything I ever had or owned.

She even had a lock of my hair!

Then she joined everything together to my picture and circled my face over and over again with a red marker.

I had to get out of here!

I turned around and my heart skipped a beat as I saw a pale, frail, skinny girl with dark circles under her eyes. She looked like a demon.

But she wasn't a demon, she was Autumn.

She looked terrible and she was wearing a white dress with red stains on it. Talk about freaky?

"Autumn?"

She stared at me for a long time and I thought she was going to pull out a knife like some witch and stab me, but instead she broke down and started crying.

"What's wrong?"

"I-It's all my f-fault", she stammered.

Well, my journey wasn't useless after all. Hurrah!
