Here we are at Lucia's house watching The Conjuring. Actually, we came here to do a group homework. I am with, Imani, Rapmon, Jade, Vanessa and of course, Lucia, since this is her house.

I don't know why they find the Conjuring creepy when the One Miss Call, The Ring, and The Grudge were the movies, real scary movies that will make you pee at your chair. I snorted and shook my head as I observed them strained to crammed themselves in one sofa. The five of them. Why watching scary movie then cover your face with a pillow, your hand or simply hide your face behind your seatmates back? I don't get them.

Well, about Sally. It's been one week the day she died but our lives continue, the school did not even let us have a day break to overcome our trauma. Instead, they forced us to go to school and acted that nothing had happened which is damn impossible. Sally's family also did not kept her for long and deliver her to burial just 2 days after she died. Of course we came, we visited the funeral and I heard a lot of theories about her death and the most of it was about CURSE or BLACK MAGIC. I have a feeling that her death was very strange and terrifying but we cannot conclude without further evidences and besides was BLACK MAGIC even real? Moreover, what about the upside down cross? Only satanic people are connected to that, that's what I know.

"Quit it guys, I did not agree to this sleep over if not because of our project." I told them calmed, tried to get their attention but only Vanessa heard me.

" Why so obsessed with grades Zeph? Have a life, no one knows until when we could stayed here on earth." She stated still focusing at the movie.

"And besides, I am here. The topnotcher of the class. Leave it all to me and you girls just enjoy the night. "

Rapmon stood up from the couch and get near me. He sat down in front of me and get the book and read it. I watch him nod like a professor reviewing his lesson plan. After few moments he look up and smile at me that showed his deep dimples.

"You know, it's rude to stare."

I just rolled my eyes and snort. Does he think that I have some kind of crush to him? Of course none, I can't cheat to my love Jungkook.

"I did not stared, I was just thinking."

"Thinking 'bout what?"

I suddenly thought for awhile, but I am confuse. I really liked to know what happened that day if possible and also Amari. Amari were not gone to school anymore after that incident.

"About that day, about Sally."

Imani abruptly sat down beside me, she answered instead of Rapmon. "It's not about Sally, not also Amari but Camille."

The sound of the television went out, I glance at Lucia, Vanessa and Jade just to see their scowling faces. They paused the movie and approach us and also sat down. I am in the middle of Rapmon and Imani, then Lucia after Rapmon, Vanessa is beside Imani and last is Jade.

"I guess, we shouldn't talk about dead people."

I suggested when I felt sudden cold creep into my skin. Yeah, I know I like to know what really have happened and recognized who really Camille was but I am scared.

"You started the topic Zeph. You asked about Sally, right?"

Rapmon stated with his mocking voice. Alright, I was surrounded by the people with the most ego at class aside from Imani of course and I just wished that I could go out Lucia's house still have breath tomorrow morning.

"Yeah, and just like I mentioned earlier, it isn't about Sally or Amari but Camille."

I guess I have no choice now but to seek the truth since Imani here is hype to talk about it.

"Well, who was Camille? I rarely saw her last year. Since she was at the highest section and all I knew was her face."

I heard Vanessa sigh along with Lucia, like these two also known her very well.

"Well, she was quite popular since she was at the highest section. She wasn't our classmate but she's a close friend to one of our classmate last year."

Lucia started but stopped when Vanessa pressed her hand.

"Well, she was nice and all. Intelligent too, but since we really don't be friend to others, we sometimes got a time that we bully her. "

Lucia continued and tried avoided my stare. Yeah, I actually thought of her as nice person though I don't personally know her. I never once had a chance to talk to her, not even hello.

"But after our class out of town, she suddenly gone. Then one day people found her dead at the..."

"Let's stop this guys! I am scared!"

I exclaimed, well, it is true! I am truly scared now and besides I don't think Camille have something to do with this since she's dead. But Imani can't stop and still talk about her.

"And do you know that, last year this rumor spread among the campus?"

"Did you really bought that nonsense Imani?" Vanessa asked her sarcastically.

"What humor? I haven't heard about it. I was kind of busy aiming for good grades."

"It is about Camille knows how to use Black Magic!"

Rapmon was the one who answered and he seems like not taking it seriously because he is smiling huge.

"Guys, please stop it! She's dead year ago. Let her rest!"

Jade interrupted. I almost forgot that she was there. Well, she is a quiet person. However, Imani is just, into talking about the girl Camille.

"And one more thing! I know you all guys know that Amari have her doll bestfriend right?"

I nodded and so them. We all asked her "what is it?". Then Jade left us inside Lucia's bedroom.

"One time Amari approached me as I was eating at the cafeteria because her doll like to say something."

"That doll again! I don't know what's in her head that she named it after our dead ex-schoolmate!"

Lucia rolled her eyes gripping her pyjama. I don't know if she's scared or faking it to looked brave in front of us.

"Her doll told me that Sally will die because she is disgusting! Ha ha ha."

Of course, she laugh, alone. How can we laugh about someone's death? We are not crazy to do that!

"And the most intriguing part is the doll also told me that She is sad at deepest core so she will take her favorites to be with her! That Amari girl was insane! "

She laugh again, laugh like it was nothing while I cannot breath anymore. Was the doll cursed? But, how can a doll curse a person? Curse need rituals and everything... Still, even it is nonsense, Imani's news shivered my spine.

Almost all of us Jump from our seat when we heard the movie turned on and hear a loud long scream of a girl after the first line of the song Tip Toe Thru The Tulips. Rapmon stood up and check the screen but it did not change to it's last pause.

"Oh God! This is why I told you guys not to continue to talked about it."

I exclaimed as I embraced myself. Lucia and Vanessa embraced each other. We stayed like that for few moments until we heard Imani screech a laugh! So thin, that it can hurt the ears anyone could heard it.

"Why so scared? She won't hurt you unless you're not innocent!"

She continue to laugh louder. I cannot take it anymore because her laugh sounds so scary. I gather all my courage and grab both shoulder and shook her. However, she did not stopped so I gave her a strong slapped on her cheek.

She became quiet and throw us her deathly glare then she fainted.

I quickly went off the morning I wake up from Lucia's house. What happened last night was creepy. I don't care now if we did not completed our group project, all that matters to me now is get away from them.

My mom welcomed me with a warm hugged and sustained me to the dining area to eat breakfast. I don't have appetite actually and I am sleepy since we didn't slept overnight just to guarded Imani. My mom sat down on the chair across to me when this nonsense question slip from my mouth.

"Mom, is black magic true?"

My mom looked at me with her confused face. Trying to calculate if I am serious or not by my question. Yet, she answered.

"I guess, yes. But I am not sure. Since, not everything in this world could be explained by science."

I tried to scoop fried rice and small piece of scrambled egg to eat when my mom speak again.

"But we are at the modern world now darling, Black magic doesn't exist anymore. "

Then she force a smile on her face. I turn my attention to my food then I go upstairs to my room when I get done. I change to my comfy pyjama and ready to sleep when my phone vibrate, I have received a message.

"Hello, Zephyr! shall we meet? MY DOLL best friend like to tell you something."

From: Amari

I quickly deleted her message. I had enough last night and I will not butt in anymore about those creepy stuff. I lay down on my bed and put my cellphone on the bed side table when it vibrated again.

"Please, meet us. Or else she'll be the one to visit you. She said. "

From: Amari

I was stuck on my bed. Like my joints all over the body locks. I tremble in terror and my heart thump so fast. I force myself to reply.

"Okay, let's meet send me the time and address"

To: AMARI

I did not let go of my phone since I am waiting for her reply.

"I'm outside your house! She can't wait to see you! Come out! "

From: Amari

What the fuck? How did she knew where I live? I quickly get up my bed not minding to change clothes and went out my room. I saw my mom coming up the stairs so I called her attention

"Mom, where is your rosary?"

I finally confessed my feelings to him! Omg!!!! He is very handsome! And you know what? He said that he likes me too! My sibling is right! He likes me too. One more thing, he asked me again to come with him at their class out of town! I am so excited! But we are still not in a relationship, he said he likes us to know each other better first! And I love him for that! So gentleman! Anyway, about my magic, my light magic. I used it earlier at him. He has severe headache so I heal him and it works! Waaahh! I love it!
