No One POV:

"Haku! Let me go!"

It was in the forest as Haku was carrying Y/n. After witnessing Gaara's new form of strength, Naruto, Sasuke, and Haku agreed to take Y/n away. 

Now Haku takes Y/n away as Naruto and Sasuke deal with the sand demon. "I'm sorry Y/n but I won't. We have to get you out of there. Gaara is only targeting you--"

"Which is more reason why I should be there!" Y/n yelled. "If he's after me and I go to him then we might have a better chance at stopping him."

"But that's it, you said "might". We don't know what else he's capable of when he's in that state or if he gets stronger," Haku stated as he keeps on moving. "I'm sorry Y/n, but I'm not gonna lose you."

Suddenly a harsh wind came as it pushes Haku and Y/n. It made Haku let go of Y/n as both of them landed safely. "It came from the battle--!"

Haku and Y/n turn as their eyes widen. Hidden in the large smoke is a giant animal shadow. "What is that...?" Haku asks.

"It's him."

A yellow glow was shining as Y/n's pupils were shaking a bit. 'So, this is Shukaku!'

A sandy-brown colored tanuki, with dark blue markings all over its face, body, and tail. It has a jagged, concave mouth and the sclerae of its eyes are black, with yellow irides and pupils that each take the shape of a black four-pointed star with four black dots around it.

"He finally broke free."

"Gah!" They suddenly hear a scream as they see a figure flying away as if they got hit. Y/n's eyes widen as he sees blonde hair, "That was Naruto!"

"Y/n~"

They froze as they see yellow eyes staring at them. Ever since the day Y/n first meet Gaara, a strange feeling was stirring inside of them.

Despite the hatred they hold towards humans, there was no hatred towards the butterfly boy. It was something that confuses them, what is it that makes the boy different.

For starters, they didn't like how he would smile at the other males. Even if Y/n would have a fake smile, they still didn't like it.

It was like a feeling of an animal, finding its mate. Not wanting anyone or anything to take their mate away. And if it means killing others, then they would gladly do so.

They growled as they see Sasuke trying to attack them. First, they were able to hurt them, and now they try to stop them from going to their beloved.

Then a smell suddenly hit them. It was the smell of flowers that you can't take find. A rare smell as it was their first time smelling something so exotic.

They follow the scent as they see two figures. Their yellow eyes widen at one particular figure.

A young but muscular boy with a slightly pale complexion and round, pale green eyes, and a small beauty mark beneath each of them. 

His long, light pink hair fades into a purple color at the halfway point, which is braided with a butterfly ornament. Five shorter, choppy clumps hung over his face as voluminous bangs, with the tips being purple as well.

His outfit was a buttoned shirt with a white framed collar, a shirt pocket on top of the left breast, fishnet undershirt. Over his shirt, he wears a white haori, which has a butterfly wing pattern that fades into a pale turquoise then pink color on the sleeves and hem which are cuffed with a black and white dotted trim.

His long, saggy hakama pants are strapped by a white buckled belt that is tucked in thigh-high socks layered with the vertically striped lime-green socks and a pair of white zoris.

'My Y/n...' The way how the wind was blowing his hair and how his hoari was flowing along with the wind. It was like as if a real butterfly was flying toward him.

"Any ideas?" Haku asks. "We have to get the others out of here." Y/n answers, "After that then we can think of something else."

Y/n turned as he was greeted with the yellow eyes from Shukaku. They were staring down in a way Chomei shivers a little.

Suddenly Shukaku began to go after them, closing in at a speed that surprise them because of their weight. "Move!" Haku yelled as the two of them split paths to avoid the tailed beast.

Y/n sees Sakura being stuck as he quickly moves to her as he was closer to her. He remembers during the fight that Gyomei's breath style was able to penetrate through the sand.

"Breath of Stone, First Form: Serpentinite Bipolar!" Y/n comes flying upward in a whiplash motion with untraceable speeds as he slashes the sand off of Sakura.

"Gotcha!" Y/n spoke as he catches Sakura. He suddenly hears a dark growl as his eyes widen, the tailed beast was ignoring Haku as they were going after him as he carried Sakura on his back and sprinted away.

A large limb was reaching for him as Chomei was helping a little. Y/n moved Sakura around as she was now in front of him as he hugs her. Reaching out for his blade as the air was breathing in some heat.

"Breath of Love, Second Form: Love Pangs!" Y/n unleashes multiple powerful whip slashes around both himself and Sakura. Avoiding the multiple attempts of grabbing him and Sakura.

Suddenly a flash of blue and a cold shiver came after Shukaku. Stopping their attempt and giving Y/n enough time to create some distance as he puts Sakura back in her original position.

The air got colder as it was Haku who stood in front of Y/n. The branch was slowly getting covered with frostbites as some shadow was covering his eyes. Y/n knows that expression because he too had held such a similar expression.

"I won't let you get Y/n!" Haku yell as he drew his senbon. "Haku stop!" Y/n's eyes widen, "It's me they're after! If I go, then everyone will be safe!"

"N-No!" Y/n and Haku turn as they see Sasuke slowly getting up. "I won't...I won't let that thing get you. Not as long as I live!"

Shukaku laughs as it reaches far. "Then I'll finish what my host couldn't do. I'll kill every single one of you if it means I'll have my mate!"

"Y/n, get Sakura out of here!" Sasuke shouted as his Sharingan was activated. "You're the fastest so you can take her to safety and escape!"

"I'm not leaving you guys!" Y/n yells as he shakes his head, "I can get Sakura to safety and come back! Sasuke you can barely-!"

"He's right Y/n!" Haku quickly spoke. "Get out of here! Run and don't look back! I made a promise that I'll protect you to the very end!"

The air, the trees, everything was silent. The only noise was the sound of a small jingle as small butterflies were flying off.

Y/n was holding Sakura as he was flying off. He didn't look back as his lips were shut tightly. The lovesick look Shukaku holds, the thought of losing people, was clouding his mind.

What triggers him the most is reseeing Kanae's death. Knowing that it was something nonhuman, made him think that he might lose the people he cares about to a nonhuman.

His heart was pounding as he hears Sasuke and Haku's battle cries. 'I...I...I don't know what to do?!' Y/n screamed in his mind.

"Y/n..."

Sasuke's screams and the sound of ice crashing was the only sound as Y/n continues to flee. Leaving two of his teammates as he holds Sakura.

'Chomei, I just don't know what to do! I don't want to lose anyone, I can't!'

The lovesick tail beast's laughter echoed through his ears, taunting him as he pleaded to Chomei. Chomei understands a weird state where Shukaku is coming from. They too want to protect Y/n and if it means being violent towards others then they'll do it.

But he'll only do it towards enemies that would bring harm to Y/n, not harming others that treated Y/n well. The way how Y/n smiles, his kindness, and his skills in battle, are all the traits that can make a shinobi go weak and immediately fell for him.

But to have Shukaku have this high level of feelings, was something that Chomei never thought of. It was clear that Shukaku hate humans with every fiber of their being, even the previous hosts could feel the hatred. 

But now it changes with Y/n and Shukaku's mind is filled with only one person...Y/n. He wasn't gonna allowed to be stopped by humans who couldn't even handle Gaara.

"Y/n...It's up to you. I'm sorry, but I don't have an answer. Shukaku has never done this before, he never had such feelings toward humans. I'm sorry..."

Y/n's eyes widen, and Chomei doesn't know what to do. The wind blew his hair back as he can hear Haku and Sasuke's cries. The sound of lightning, ice, and many other jutsu was heard as Y/n continues to sprint away.

"Y/n! Where are you~?!" 

Shukaku's voice was booming through the air. Y/n's eyes widen as he hears the tail beast's voice. He knows that sooner or later he might be found, but never thought that it'll be this early.

"Come out where ever you are! I know you're there, I can smell your scent! I can smell your chakra!"

Haku's scream rang through Y/n's ears. They weren't battle cries, they were screams of pain.

"This is what happens when you keep my mate away from me!"

The yell made Y/n freeze as his mind was thinking of so many things. What's going on? What's happening to them? His mind was screaming at him as he knows hears Sasuke's scream.

"Just tell me where he is! If you do, then I'll make your death painless!"

"No, I made a vowel, a promise that I'll keep him safe! I will hold to the moment I no longer live!"

Haku yells as the ground shakes once more by the tail beast. 'No! I can't, I can't lose them again!'

"Stop!" A loud cry reaches out as Shukaku and the two shinobi turn as their eyes widen.

There he was the reason why Shukaku fights the two humans. The reason why he's feeling something besides hatred. Y/n Kanroji Kocho. His butterfly and no one else.

The thought made him relax as he sees Y/n but now with wings. Y/n with his insect wings by Chomei flew right in front of Haku and Sasuke as he was breathing hard. Shukaku is almost in joy as he sees the butterfly fly towards him in submission to him and only him.

"Y/n what are you doing?! Run!" Haku screamed. However, to his response, Y/n shook his head as small tears escape.

"No, I can't lose you guys. I can't...I don't want..." Y/n couldn't find the words to say but it was clear to them.

Y/n turn to stare at Shukaku, clenching his fist as he gazed into those golden eyes that were clouded with lovesickness. "Please, don't hurt them...I'll go...I'll do anything..." Y/n spoke as he tries to calm down.

Shukaku reaches out as he wraps his arm around the butterfly tightly, causing him to groan as both Y/n and Chomei try to stop him from squeezing out their lungs.

"These humans don't deserve your love and affection." 

Shukaku growl as he squeezes tighter, not wanting him to slip out of his grasp. However, he notices their strength then they felt a familiar warmth in them.

"I see...You are more beautiful than I thought."

Shukaku's eyes gleamed more as the butterfly and the beetle tries to break the tight grasp. "I can't...I can't breathe..." Y/n weakly spoke.

The tail beast loosened his grip, allowing Y/n to breathe. The grip was still tight, but it was confusing towards Y/n. He's like Gaara with being a Jinchūriki, how come he's struggling to make the grip not so tight?

"You also are a vessel with my brother."

Y/n's eyes widen as Haku and Sasuke's eyes slightly widen as well. 'Y/n...he's like Gaara?' Haku thought as Sasuke was thinking similarly.

"Although you don't have all of my brother's strength. That means someone else holds the other half of his power."

Y/n's eyes were getting blurry with his tears as the grip was still tight on him. However, his mind was processing what the tail beast just said. Someone else is Chomei's host.

"I don't know why you cry for them Y/n... They try to take you away from me...They deserve no they should plead for death! And you...You need to recognize that you're mine!"

Shukaku glare at Haku and Sasuke with hatred. Y/n gulped a bit as the attention was now back at him, feeling the grip getting tight.

"Say it!"

Shukaku tightened the grip more as it made Y/n's chest get bigger. "I'm...I'm yours!" Y/n spoke as the grip relaxed again.

"Yes, you're mine...Good boy."

Shukaku cooed lovingly as Haku was lost in thought. He turns but sees that Sasuke couldn't keep his consciousness as the battles were taking too much of him.

He had heard about the tail beasts or their other names, the bijū and the chakra monsters. Mindless beasts that have extraordinary and dangerous powers, with the people's fear seal them inside of a person.

However, now it's all fading away as he now sees the "mindless" beast showing affection over a human, over Y/n. But what's more, is what he had heard about the Jinchūriki.

A person who fits the description of the beast within them. Holding such power that they too have also become monsters but in human disguises. But again those words fade away as he sees those "monsters in disguises" are people similar to Y/n.

Haku weakly watches Shukaku picking up Y/n, the way he cried and pleaded for the tail beast to spare them and let them go. It stabbed his heart as Haku felt like he failed to keep his words.

But now fear crawls as he doesn't know what the tail beast will do next. Are they gonna kill him? Take him away? So many things were swarming his mind.

Haku wasn't a fool to his emotion. He know that he fell in love with Y/n, and so did many others.

He know that other people have feelings for the person he loves, but he doesn't show the emotion. He was taught to only be a weapon, not a person.

But yet when it comes to the butterfly, it's like his training has never existed. Having new emotions coming in, but the only thing that he wants is to have Y/n back. Even if it means that someone else must be Y/n's hero.

'Naruto...please hurry...Y/n needs you.'
