No One POV:

"Winner is Haku"

Haku nodded as he released the Jutsu Ino and fell to the ground unconscious. It was then that medical shinobis came and carried Ino out as he looked cold from being trapped in the ice for some time.

Haku made his way upstairs as he was greeted with a jump hug. "That was so cool! Was that a new Jutsu?! I saw you use it once!"

It was Y/n as hearts were floating around him and stars were gleaming in his eyes.

Y/n fell to the ground as Zabuza chopped Y/n's head. "Let's go," Zabuza said as Haku nodded before carrying Y/n. 

"Also..." Haku turned as Zabuza smirked at him, "That was impressive."

Haku was shocked by the sudden compliment, "T-Thank you, Zabuza-sensei."

Kakashi and Naruto watch them interact. Kakashi was glad that they were doing better and how well they were in changing their ways. 

Naruto was glad that Haku no longer consider that he was a tool that can be used so casually. Though...

'GAH! Why are they getting so close to Y/n! Why can't Sasuke be with them and I can have Y/n!'

He was then realizing how casually they were being around Y/n and was not feeling good about it. Especially after seeing Y/n hugging Haku when in his mind he sees him getting hugged by Y/n as he praises him.

'You're so awesome Naruto! So strong too! I can already see you becoming the next Hokage!'

Naruto then felt a smack behind him as he turns to see Kakashi looking at him. "Don't daydream Naruto. You have to be prepared for when you get called."

Half was true to what Kakashi said. The other half is that he knows that Naruto was fantasying something and see that Y/n was getting close to Zabuza and Haku, it was probably that.

Though Kakashi felt something...off.

It was a slight pain in his chest, it makes him so confused. The last time he check, he was perfectly fine. But seeing how Zabuza is being towards Y/n makes him feel the pain hitting his chest over and over.

Needless to say, he doesn't like it.

The screen light up as it shows to competitors for the next match. It selected the next match,

Tenten Vs. Temari

The two competitors came down as they were prepared for the match. 'Seeing those matches made me all fired up!' Tenten thought as she was shocked from seeing the matches. However, she was mainly fangirling on Y/n's sword.

Temari looked neutral but he look up seeing Y/n as he look back at him. Temari smirked as he winked at Y/n. 'If Kankuro gonna makes a move on cupid, might as well join in.'

Y/n blushed as some caught the move and they all glared at Temari.

"Go Tenten! Do your best! Kick his butt!" Lee cheered, seeing how Temari made a move on his angel he want revenge. "There's no limit to the power of your youth!" Guy sensei also joined.

"The sixth battle. Tenten, Temari, come forward!"

The two walked over to each other and they glared at each other. "Begin!"

Temari smirked at Tenten as she notice and jumped backward.

They stayed for a while before Temari begin to speak. "Are you planning to wait out and see how I make my move? Let me just tell you, once I start my attack you'll be over in a second."

"Eh! I wish I have his confidence!" Y/n whined but on the inside, he was struggling with who to cheer for. 

"You don't to Y/n! You're already cool! Believe it!" Naruto gave him a thumbs up. Y/n blushed as he quickly nodded. 

"He's right, you don't have to change yourself." Haku joined. Y/n covered his face as it was red, "Thank you."

Tenten decided to make a move as she start by throwing her shurikens. It looks like a clean throw to him. 

However, Temari smirked as they missed. "No way!" Tenten said. 

"What was that, a warm-up? Or are you scared and your aim is off?" Temari mocked.

"I can't believe Tenten's attack missed!" Lee said.

"It's unbelievable indeed." Guy joined. "Tenten's weapons always hit the mark ten out of ten times." 

"That's right...she didn't miss," Neji said. "There's something that made her miss then."

"You know, you can always count on Temari to put up a good show." Kankuro gave a closed smile. 

"How foolish," Gaara said.

He was watching with a neutral look in his eyes. Though he would silent take a quick look at someone as it made his blood rush.

"Oh man, this is embarrassing," Shikamaru commented. He was leaning on his arm as a pillow for his head. Naruto was confused. "Sand wins again."

"We don't know that yet," Naruto said.

"It's over," Shikamaru repeated.

"How? How do you know? Explain it so I can understand." Naruto said.

"He can't Naruto."

They turn as they can tell that they agree. "I would like to see Tenten's skill but given how she was easily thrown off by something as missing, then it means that something's wrong," Y/n said. 

"I agree, her aim was precise. However, something made it miss and we couldn't catch it. It shows the difference between them." Haku said.

'They're right. I have to stay calm.' Tenten thought as she was measuring her distance. "If it's gonna get dodged, I just have to make it impossible to!'

'So she's measuring the spacing, next one is gonna be a big attack.' Temari then starts to put his hand on the giant fan behind his back. Tenten caught it.

'So, that fan is the secret. If so...' Tenten makes a move.

She started to run around him as he was just standing there. She stopped as she jumped in the air. "Alright, try this!"

Tenten pulls out a scroll. Spinning around really fast she summons a variety of weapons from the scroll as she begins to throw them at Temari with precise accuracy.

However like again she missed. The weapons started to land around him. 

"No way!" Tenten said. "My flying weapons! Is there a secret mechanism in the fan?" Looking at it they notice that it was slightly open. There's a purple circle design to it.

Temari laughed a little. "Take a look. This is the first star. There are two more. When the third star appears, you will lose." 

He was smiling at Tenten's face as she was glaring at him.

"Tenten! Don't be taken in by your opponent, be calm! Be calm!" Lee shouted.

 Y/n was now curious where this was going. Seeing how that means a quarter of the fan is open, what would happen once the fan is completely open?

'I know Lee, I intended to use this in the main battle, not the preliminary round but it looks like I can't do it that way.' Tenten thought before pulling out two scrolls.

"What's with the scrolls?" Naruto asked.

"She's probably going to summon something since the last scroll was on weapons," Y/n answered.

Tenten placed the scrolls on the ground. "Hah! No matter what you do, it won't work." Temari smirked.

Tenten was having it as she begin to motion handsigns.

"Rising Twin Dragons!"

Large smoke appeared as it covered Temari's vision. The two scrolls flew up as Tenten jumped up the same height. 

She then summon more weapons as they were targeting Temari.

"Even if you increase the amount, it's still the same!" Temari opens the fan more as it shows the second star. "Move number two!"

Making a single motion to the fan, created a powerful wind that blew off the weapons.

"I'm not done yet!" Tenten yelled.

Pulling her hand, the weapons were floating up. They can see a reflection that the weapons were attached with wires. She rethrew them as Temari was shocked by it. 

'Ha! I got you now!'

However, Temari chuckled as he swing his fan again, however, it made a bigger wind impact. Making Tenten fly back and hit the ground hard. Tenten looks at Temari as she realizes that there was a third star. 

"Move number three."

Temari hide behind the fan as he disappeared. Y/n something above him as he sees Temari riding the fan. 

He smirk as he gave Tenten a whistle, making her look and see Temari gliding as he landed.

"Ninja Art! Wind Scythe Jutsu!"

Temari creates a powerful gust of wind that is laced with wind blades. Tenten tries to hang on but the wind was strong enough to knock her off her balance as she got caught.

"I see." They turn to Zabuza, "His chakra is enfolded in the wind. She fought well, however, she can't escape."

Tenten got out of the wind as she landed on Temari's iron fan, making her cough a little blood.

"W-Woah! That guy's ruthless." Naruto said.

"How boring." Temari sighs but smirks a little. "At least I was able to show someone what I can do."

"To think he completely intercepted Tenten's weapon attacks," Guy-sensei said.

"That's ridiculous!" Lee said.

"What's going on with him?" Naruto said as he was shaking a little.

"It's just like Shikamaru said, it's the Sand's win," Choji said.

"There's no reason for us to lose here," Kankuro said. Gaara made a "Hmph" sound.

"Temari wins the sixth match."

Temari smirked as Lee notice what was going to happen. Temari tossed Tenten off of his fan as Lee came in and catches her. 

"Nice catch," Temari said.

"What are you doing?! Is that something you do to an opponent who fought to the utmost?!" Lee yelled. 

"You're annoying!" Temari slammed his fan. "Take that trash away already!"

Lee go annoyed as he charges at him. His team tells him to stop but he didn't listen. "Leaf hurricane!" 

Lee went for the kick as Temari blocked it with his fan.

"Not even close. You're dull too." Temari said.

"What did you say?!"

"Lee stop!" Guy-sensei came.

"But-" Lee was going to speak but he got cut off.

"Temari."

They turn to see Gaara. "Come up quick, you've been declared the winner. Don't keep company with that awful-looking guy and his chaperone forever."

"What?!" Lee glared at Gaara.

They started at each other until Guy placed his hand on Lee's shoulder, "That's enough Lee." He turns to the sand ninjas. "Gentlemen of Sand, I wonder if I may give you a word of warning. This kid is strong. You should prepare yourselves."

"I see that he must be the leader of the group," Haku said as Zabuza grumble. "If you guys have fought him then maybe it'll make them shut up with bragging."

Y/n patted their heads. "Come on now, think of it like this! Only Panda hasn't made a match yet and we got to see his friends. So if we get to fight them during the main match..."

"Then we'll know what to do!" Naruto joined.

"Yep!" Y/n smiled.

The screen appear as if it was about to show who was going to fight. Naruto and Lee were ready for them to fight....but instead, it showed someone else.

Shikamaru Nara Vs. Tsuchi Kin

Shikamaru looks like he's done with life as he goes down there.

"Good luck!" He turn to see Y/n was cheering for him. He sighs, "At least he isn't going overboard."

'Man this is such a drag. I mean give me a break, I got to fight a girl. What's worse is that she knows my jutsu and I don't know her Jutsu.' Shikamaru thought.

"Begin!"

"I can only do this." Shikamaru put his hands up as the sound girl caught it.

"One trick pony, huh?" Shikamaru looked annoyed. "Ninja art, Shadow Possession Jutsu!"

His shadow started to stretch going after her. "It's nothing if I just pay attention to the movement of your shadow!" 

She moves to the side, dodging it as she throws her weapons. He dodges it as it was needled with bells.

"Heh, that's a classic. Next, you'll throw Senbons with bells and Senbons without bells at the same time, right? I'll respond to the sound of the bells, intending to dodge them, but I won't notice the quiet Senbons, and, ouch. Am I right?" Shikamaru said.

She ran as she throw more needles, "You talk a lot, don't you!"

Shikamaru dodges it, however, he hears a jingle. He turns and sees the Senbons with bells jingling. They were attached with threads. "Darn it!"

"Too late!" 

She throws them as they hit Shikamaru in the arm. "He took that pretty bad," Naruto commented. 

"Yeah, but it only hit his arm and not anything major," Y/n said.

"F-For the moment I dodged a fatal hit." Shikamaru pulls the Senbon out of his arm. "Now it's my turn!"

"Sorry but that was your turn." She pull the threads that were attached to the bells as they make a sound. 

Suddenly Shikamaru was wobbling a little, "W-What the?"

He suddenly kneels as he sees the girl smirking at him.

"That happens to anyone who hears my bell. The sound vibration of this special bell reaches the brain directly from the eardrum. And then it will make you hallucinate."

The bells rang again as Shikamaru tries to block the sound. It was hard to get the ringing out of his head.

Suddenly he sees multiple, the hallucination already started.

She throws three Senbons at him as they hit his left arm. "That was three. Next time it'll be five, I'll continue until you become a hedgehog."

"Y-You're lying, you brat!" Shikamaru said.

"Huh?" She question.

You'd end it soon. That's what you said in the beginning, isn't it?" Shikamaru said.

"I see, you can't endure the pain and want to be eased." The bells rand again. This time she only pulled out three Senbons. "Well, I'll finish it here. It's your death warrant."

Suddenly she slowly pulls down her arm. "W-What?!" The hallucinations stopped. "C-Can't move...my arm!"

Shikamaru smirked. "At last, Shadow Possession Jutsu is a success."

Everyone looked shocked. "W-What are you saying?" She asked. 

"You don't realize it yet?" Shikamaru asked. It clicked to her, "I-It can't be."

"It's just that, you fool! A thread at this height can't have a shadow." The thread's shadow came more clear as it was Shikamaru's shadow. "I can stretch and shrink my own shadow."

The shadow was getting thicker as it show that anything Shikamaru does, the girl would mirror. "But...how do you win with that? I'm just gonna move the same way as you."

"Annoying. Be quiet and watch." Shikamaru said.

He reached for his pocket as the girl know what they have in that pocket. "Idiot! If you continue like this and attack, you too will be wounded!"

They both pull out shuriken as Shikamaru was about to throw it. "I know that. We're gonna throw shuriken at each other. How far we go?"

"Fool, stop it!" They threw it as they started to target one another. Shikamaru bends backward as he dodges it. 

'You're only talking...' The girl thought. She bends backward but she hit the back of her head on the wall hard. Knocking her out.

"If you're a shinobi, you have to grasp the situation and the layout when you battle. Even though we made the same movements the distance of the walls behind each of us was different." Shikamaru explained.

"The winner Shikamaru Naara!"

"That was so cool!" Y/n said. 

"Yes, that was impressive." Haku agreed.

"I'm more fired up!" Lee shouted. 

"You know I just realize, half of us are left." Naruto suddenly said.

"Yeah, now that Naruto just said the people left are one Sound ninja, me, Hinata, Naruto, Choji, Neji, and Lee. And that Sand guy." Kiba counted.

"This year's rookies look quite challenging," Neji said. He glanced at Hinata as he slowly look at Neji but quickly back at the screen.

The screen light up as it shows the next match.
