"There you are!"

The battle between Sasuke and Gaara continued. With Gaara taking on a new form, it increased his power. Putting Sasuke in a bad position.

Gaara's new arm stretch as Sasuke tries to dodge it. However, he got jabbed on the side of his stomach. Smoke came as it was now a log.

"I'm here!" Sasuke was now behind Gaara. He throws some kunai as Gaara countered by using the same arm as a shield.

He chuckles as he sees Sasuke displeased expression. "I'm returning them to you!" Gaara launches them back but once again it wasn't the real Sasuke.

"So that was a clone..."

Sasuke was breathing hard before catching his breath. "Bastard!" He was hiding under Gaara as he observes him.

"Sasuke...Uchiha...!" Gaara smirks as he looks around. "Why won't you come at me?!"

Gaara suddenly screams as he uses his human arm to hold his head. He screams in pain as he was now on his knees.

"Why...do you flee?!"

Back Flash Jutsu:

"Ready! Over here!"

Multiple kids were playing with a ball as they were from the Sand Village. They smiled in joy as they were played with a ball. However, one young boy was sitting on the swings alone while holding a stuffed bear.

"Over here! Pass!"

As the kids continue to play their small game the boy continued his small swings. "Good! Go! Go! Go!"

One of the kids kick the ball as it went over a rock wall. The boy notices the ball as the kids was now upset. "Oh man, what're we gonna do?"

"I don't know." One of the kids' answers. "We don't know any wall-climbing techniques or anything..."

Suddenly the ball was floating down as chunks of sand were underneath it. It went into the boy's hands as the kids now see the young boy. "Y-You're..."

The boy was shy as he slowly looks. "He-Here... This..." He suddenly sees the kid's expression.

"It's Gaara..." One of the kid's whispers. All of them were now frightened as they were shaking.

"He's creepy..." Another kid commented.

"R-Run!"

All of the kids started to run as the young boy Gaara was in disbelieve. He could hear the fear from them as they were running as if a monster was gonna get him. His eyes started to water up.

"No! Please! Don't leave me alone!"

Suddenly some sand started to rise as it grabbed two of the running kids. They screamed in fear as they were trying to crawl away.

'I don't...want to be alone anymore!'

His eyes show a new color as the sands' grip became tighter. "Please let me go!" One of the kids pleaded.

'Never again...!'

"Gaara! Please calm down!" 

A young man came and stopped Gaara. He has sandy-blond hair, fair skin, and violet eyes, which made him look somewhat feminine. He wears a simple, dark blue, kimono-style shirt with white trim that was held closed by a white sash along with grey pants. 

"Yashamaru..." Gaara whispers.

Present Time Jutsu:

Gaara scream as his voice roared in anger wanting to be released. "No escape! I won't let you escape! Sasuke Uchiha!"

He thrashes around as trees was getting destroyed. He laughs as Sasuke was covering his eyes from the wood dust.

'You've gotta be kidding! What's with that outrageous strength...?' Sasuke continues to watch Gaara.

"Are you afraid of me?" Gaara continues to look around. 'It's too overwhelming...'

"Sasuke Uchiha! Are you afraid? Are you afraid of my existence?!"

Sasuke's eyes widen. He felt large shadows were behind him. One with reptile eyes while the other had red eyes.

"What's the matter?! Sasuke Uchiha! Are you afraid of me?!"

Sasuke stayed silent as the shadow was covering his eyes.

"Your hatred and intent to kill...have they given way to fear?" Gaara smirks devilishly. "Is that the extent of your existence?!"

"Fight me...and confirm it! Your value! Your existence!"

"Come at me!"

Multiple birds started to fly away as Gaara challenged him. Sasuke clenches his fist as veins was showing it. His head was still down as he slowly gets up.

The shadow appears again. The shadow with the red eyes.

'I was allowed to live...Only...myself. Expressly for what reason?!'

Sasuke did hand signs as his hand grabs his other wrist. Lightning started to rise as his hand glows.

'No... I know the reason. The reason that man left me alive was so he wouldn't be tormented by a sense of guilt for having killed an entire clan...'

His hand glows brighter as it creates a bird-like sound. The lightning started to rise as some circuits out of his hands.

'Itachi chose me as the avenger... to have me kill him!'

His read raises as his Sharingan is now activated. His head has some veins showing as his face shows anger and blood lust.

Gaara turns as he sees the lightning glow. Sasuke turns around as he made himself appear to Gaara's eyes.

"Now, let me have some fun...Sasuke Uchiha!"

Sasuke clenches his teeth. "I'll finish it with one blow!"

Scene Change Jutsu:

It was back at the village with the battle between Sarutobi and Orochimaru. Both men continue to fight as they breathe hard. Orochimaru could still see the Reaper as it lusts for Orochimaru's soul.

Sarutobi was shaking as he tries to fight the pain. The sword still pierces through his body as he tries to have the Reaper take away his enemy's soul.

"Hurry up and die, release yourself from your misery," Orochimaru stated with venom. "You silly old fool..."

"I believe I told you..." Sarutobi slowly speak as the Reaper's hand started to pull the snake's soul, "that you would die too!"

"Bastard!" The sword continues to pierce more as Enma tries to stop it. 

"Let go, you old fool!" Orochimaru screamed. His veins started to show was now enraged with anger.

"I will not let go! I refuse to let go..." Sarutobi coughs out some blood. "Until I have pulled out your soul!"

Orochimaru looks at the Reaper. It licks their lips as they place the blade to their mouth.

'At this rate...'

Scene Change Jutsu:

Sasuke and Gaara launch towards each other. One with the lightning's glow. The other with the sands wind.

They scream as they make their move. The lightning pierces through a chunk of Gaara's sand arm. Screaming in pain as Sasuke coldly looks back.

'Looks like... it worked.'

A dark chuckle came as Sasuke's eyes slightly widen. Gaara was getting up as he was now laughing with joy. Echoing through the trees as his laugh was louder.

"I see! That's what it was!" Sasuke was breathing hard as his eyes were back to normal.

"I just realized the reason...why it's so fun!" Gaara grips onto his shoulder. "This pain...to take down an opponent who wounded me... and thoroughly destroy him...! That will make have him! That will make me have my love!"

Sasuke suddenly smirks. His veins were showing as the shadow was covering part of him. "Y/n..."

Gaara lower himself as he heard Sasuke. "Y/n, my love! Y/n, my Desert Rose!"

"What the?!" Gaara's gore was breaking as sand was pouring out. Now forming an animalistic tail as it swings around.

'What the hell is this guy?!' Sasuke was in disbelieve as he was now showing more anger. 'One after another...'

Gaara screams as he launches at Sasuke. Sasuke's eyes quickly change, 'He's even faster!'

He jumps as he barely dodges Gaara's attack.

He sustained a small cut on his forearm as he landed safely. Gaara turns around as his arm catches him.

'I can't dodge unless I read ahead of his movements. If I didn't have these eyes, I'd have died long ago.'

Gaara slings himself as he goes for the attack again. 'I can no longer use Chidori...' Sasuke acts fast as he put his hands together.

"Fire Style, Fire Ball Jutsu!"

Sasuke released flame out of his mouth. Gaara acted quickly as he uses his arm to create a barrier around him. Still charging through the flames.

'So the Fire Style doesn't work against sand...' Sasuke thought with hatred. 'Not only that, this level of Jutsu won't...'

"Die!" Gaara yells as he goes for the attack.

'Apparently...it needs to be Chidori!' Sasuke covers his face as Gaara punches him.

The impact made him fly as he was crashing through multiple trees. Crashing on a thicker tree as it made an impact mark.

"What's the matter? Does the value of your existing amount only this much? I'll be blunt..." Gaara smiles with joy.

"You are...weak!"

Sasuke's head was down, but he was still conscious.

"You're too optimistic. And it's because your hatred is weak! The power of hatred is the power of the intention to kill! The power of the intent to kill is the power of revenge! Your hatred is weaker than mine!"

"Shut up..."

"Do you understand the meaning of this?!"

"Shut up!"

"That means that you...You are weaker than me!"

Sasuke stands up, 'Itachi chose me to be the avenger...to have me kill him!' Lightning glow as his Sharingan rises again.

'I am an avenger!'

Gaara smirks at the sight Sasuke charges at Gaara. Gaara jumped in as the lightning's glow suddenly faded. Gaara screams as the two do their blow.

Both landed as neither one moved. Sasuke's face was covered with shadow as Gaara was smirking.

The sand arm started to fall...the lightning's glow still raises.

Sasuke's eyes glow as his body was now covered with marks. His lightning glows brightly as the lightning roars.

Gaara screams in pain as his other arm was now being covered with sand. Creating another set of animal-like arms around his.

Sasuke groans in pain as the lightning disappeared. He fell to the ground as he was slowly losing his control to stay standing.

'The Curse Mark again...'

Gaara turns as he looks at Sasuke with anger in his eyes. He got hurt twice by him. He wanted blood.

He roars as he charges at Sasuke. Desperately tries to stand up Sasuke's body won't let him. 'Darn...! My body...'

Gaara reaches his arm as he goes for an attack.

Until a fatal kick landed on Gaara's head. The trees were covered with some ice as some butterflies were flying around.

"Dear me, aren't you cutting it rather close?"

Sasuke's eyes widen. He felt a slight cold hand, "Are you alright?"

"Haku...Y/n." Haku gave a small smile as Y/n turned to look at him. "But how...?"

Sasuke notices a butterfly flying down as he remembers it. "You can thank Shino for giving us the direction," Y/n stated.

"Y/n, my love...Y/n... my Desert Rose!"

Y/n turn as his eyes slightly widen. He could see the beast slowly coming out of him as his stomach was turning.

"Panda..."

This chapter had me on a roll of a roller-coaster. For starters, it's awe for seeing little Gaara. Then it'll be okay, are we having character development Sasuke?

Then it'll be Sasuke getting rock while I'm like, "...What happens to the development." And then it's the repeat of 'Itachi chose me to be the avenger', like okay I'm over it.

But it'll change to laughter when Sasuke would say things like "I am an avenger!" Like boy sit down.

Also, I don't if it's just me but if you guys aren't aware of the show Black Clover, there is this girl named Fana the Hatred. I feel like both Gaara and Fana would be good hatred friends.
