Not me realizing that this is the first Sakura picture in the book!!

No One POV:

"Damn you!"

Sakura charge at Gaara but he quickly countered. He quickly punches Gaara as she crashes to a tree. "S-Sakura!" Y/n yelled in shock.

Suddenly smoke appear as Sakura was now a log Gaara's eyes widen. "A substitution!"

"Aaahh!" Sakura appeared behind Gaara as his tail wrapped around Sakura. Swinging her around as he released her towards Haku.

Haku catches her as both of them grunt from the impact. "Damn it!" Naruto had enough as he now charges at Gaara, however the same fate happened as Naruto was pushed off.

'Darn it!' Naruto yells in his mind, 'Things will be bad if it stays like this...!'

He turns to Y/n who was slowly beginning to go down on one knee. 'I'll have to...'

"I'll have to save..." Naruto looks back to Haku now coming to him, "everyone for sure!"

Gaara heard Naruto as he chuckles. Soon turned into laughter as he laughs hard before glaring at both Haku and Naruto.

"So, you two will fight for keeping my love away from me?!" Gaara challenges, "My Desert Rose!"

"I'm sick of listening to you talk!" Naruto and Haku pull out their kunai as they went into action.

Naruto charge from above as Haku was coming from the opposite side. Meanwhile, Y/n was breathing a little hard as he was now on one knee.

'Ch-Chomei! I need-need some help!'

"On it!"

Y/n felt a rush of power as he was slowly standing up. Gaara felt it as he quickly countered Naruto and Haku's attack. Using his tail, he knocked off Naruto and it then grabs Haku.

"Gah!"

"Urgh!"

Haku was stuck as he could feel the tail tightening his grip. Gaara suddenly groan in pain as he was holding on to his morphed side face.

Flashback Jutsu:

Young Gaara was crying as he sees Yashamaru slowly dying. Tears couldn't stop flowing as he put his head down Yashamaru coughs while looking up.

"W-Why...?" Gaara pleaded, "Why is it?! Why Yashamaru...? Why did you, why...? Why...?"

"Love is...a heart that desires to serve a precious person who is close to oneself, to love and watch over that person. Just like my older sister did."

"You are a precious person who is close to me, Gaara!"

"Always..." Gaara rubs his eyes as he tries to stop his tears, "only Yashamaru would always...Me... always me..."

Yashamaru was crying a bit as he wipes Gaara's tears. "It was on order."

Gaara's eyes widen, looking at Yashamaru who was also crying. "I... I was commissioned to kill you...By your father...Lord Kazekage."

"My father...?" Tears were once again leaking out of Gaara's eyes. "Why did my father...? Why...? Why me?"

"Gaara, you who were born and possessed by the Sand Spirit Shukaku..." Yashamaru confessed as he closes his eyes, "have been watched over as an experiment. However, Gaara, you couldn't control the living spirit Shukaku, the Sand Spirit which possesses the power of the sand. Eventually, your existence would become too dangerous for the village. Before that occurred..."

"So Yashamaru, you had no choice..." Gaara suggested as he looks at him. "But to comply with my father's order...?"

Yashamaru cries once more, "I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I never wanted you to have this...You were everything to my sister, and at that moment, I knew that she would be upset over herself because she wasn't strong enough to protect you."

Gaara slowly wipes away Yashamaru's tears as his hand was carefully touched. "I know that your life would be different...But I didn't care. I wanted you to be happy, protected, and feel safe...But I failed...The wound of the heart that could never heal, everything was too much to bear."

"Unlike a wound on the body, there is no ointment and sometimes, it doesn't heal for one's entire life."

"A wound of the heart?"

"Your name...is the name my sister gave you..."This child's name is Gaara...A devil that loves only itself..." But I didn't believe that...Please...Don't hate--"

Suddenly an explosion came, and small smoke appeared as the chunks of sand were visible. A now dusty kunai was spotted between the protected Gaara and the now-dead Yashamaru.

"I believe that my sister loved you, Gaara."

"Love?"

"The sand which automatically tries to protect you is like the love of a mother. Or even the butterfly that is on top of your hair, giving you comfort. I believe that those two are filled with your mother's will."

"Love."

Glass shattered, the end of Gaara's passionate world. Red eyes show like a demon now rising as the sand twirls around Gaara.

Charging at Gaara's forehead as it now bears a symbol. A symbol in which he believes in the future.

Present Time Jutsu:

Gaara slowly turns to Y/n who is now pushed off the morphed arm as he breathes hard a bit. "My Rose, why do you resist! Why care for these creatures?!"

Gaara's tail tightened again as Haku groaned in pain. "Haku!" Y/n's eyes widen as he turns to Gaara, "Let him go!"

Y/n swiftly as his eyes suddenly widen. He hears the sound of sand and something morphing. He looks down as he sees Gaara's entire body changing shape.

'He...He's transforming again!' The sand was taking over Gaara's body as it made the tail snap off the piece that was holding Haku.

Y/n quickly catches Haku as he turns to see Naruto with a small toad with him. However, his eyes were still set on Gaara or the tail beast.

"Shukaku/Shukaku!" Y/n and Chomei spoke however Y/n's eyes widened as he realized what he said.

Gaara and Temari's eyes widen as he turns to Y/n. 'How does he know that name?! No one outside of the village-!' Temari's eyes widen as he remembers something.

It was the fight between Y/n and Sakura. A pair of red eyes as stares at Sakura, but it was also in a direction that the Sand Siblings will see.

'Could it be that he's also...?!'

"Sand Shuriken!" A swarm of sand started to charge at Naruto, Sakura, Haku, and Y/n. Y/n quickly escapes as Sakura and Haku follow.

Meanwhile, Naruto grabs the toad and escape, but he was too late as he got attacked. "Naruto!" Sakura's eyes widen.

"Watch out!" Sakura gasps as she was suddenly pulled into a tree. Before she had time to do anything the sand piled up before she went unconscious.

"Sakura!" Naruto yells as Y/n's eyes widen. They turn to Gaara as they notice something about his eyes.

'Such lonely eyes...' Both of them thought that Naruto had a deeper connection to them. 'This guy is also turning into a monster...the same as me. I hated every last one of them. I didn't understand who I was, why I was so hated, why I even existed.'

"In other words, you're the Nine-Tailed Fox who killed Iruka's parents and ruined the village! You've been deceived by everyone in the village all along!"

'When I learned that the Nine-Tailed Fox was inside me, everyone in the village seemed even more cold-hearted... I was so deeply troubled...But...'

"You're right I am upset. No, I'm pissed that the village would do this to a child! As far as I see, it was the tailed beast, not Naruto! So, If You wanna go to him then you have to get through me!" 

"When you found out about it you were also surprised as if you never knew. So how can you be called a demon if you never knew about it?"

"However even if they survive, they would've wanted me to be friends with you and I bet they would probably think about adopting you."

'Y/n and other people appeared who acknowledged me...That's why I became all right, even though there was the demon fox inside my body, or even if the people of the village looked at me with cold eyes. Because...I wasn't alone anymore! I never imagined how happy and fortunate I could feel. How really...really...great it was. How truly great it was to be here. I was relieved to know I am allowed to be here, to exist!'

'That's why it scares me to think about the past...That suffering is agonizing...It's all pitch-black hell!'

'If...I had remained that way, all alone...That's precisely why I understand!'

"So, what did I have in this life, why did I keep living? This is the answer I came to...To put it simply, my reason for living is in to have my love. And make sure that I am the only one to have him. Even if in the killing of others just to have him, then so be it."

'This guy's always been suffering all alone...And now that he has something or someone that treats him with warmth...He doesn't want it to let go...'

"What's the matter?!" Gaara challenges as the sand's grip on Sakura became tighter, "Are you afraid of me? To fight for claiming my love? To fight for claiming my Desert Rose? I won't let you...I won't let you take him away from me!"

"Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Multiple clones of Naruto appeared as they charge at Gaara. "No Naruto!" Y/n was about to go after him, but Haku quickly hugs him from behind, "We have to go!"

"Wh-What?!" Y/n's eyes widen as hatred swarms into Gaara's eyes. "No!"

"Wind Style! Infinite Sandstorm Devastation!"

Gaara inhales with these and his regular mouth, causing his body to swell up. He then exhales this wind, mixing it with sand that's been coated with his chakra. The resulting sandstorm covers a wide area in front of Gaara and is very powerful, enough to knock down trees and deal extensive physical damage.

Naruto was harshly blown off as he roughly crashed into a tree. 'This isn't good...He got me.'

"First, I'll toy with you without killing you!" Gaara stated with glee and sadistically. "Then I'll get rid of you, and take my Rose far away from everyone!"

"We need to go!" Haku quickly takes off as Y/n's eyes widen. The two of them quickly took off as a roar was echoed through the air.

"My love!"

"My Desert Rose!"

"My Y/n!"

I know that Yashamaru in the original series secretly hated Gaara, but not this one!

Overall, these character needs therapy! This entire chapter has been about trauma, neglect, and psychotic thoughts!
