No One POV:

It was now morning as Y/n got up as he groans and roll around. Leading him to fall off of the bed. He groans as he got up and makes his way downstairs

He headed to the bathroom until he hears a loud crashing noise. He rushes to the noise as it came from the kitchen. He looks to find Zabuza on the ground with pans.

"Moshi Moshi." Y/n greeted as it took Zabuza off he looks up and see Y/n's confused face. 

"Aw, you're finally up," Zabuza grumbles.

"Morning to you too but what happens?" Y/n ask. He looks around and sees some flour and some on Zabuza's head.

"I was about to make breakfast when the flour wouldn't open. It did and got some on me, leading to this." Zabuza answered.

Y/n covers his mouth trying not to laugh seeing Zabuza's face. He turns to see Haku now entering and seeing the mess. 

"M-Moshi Moshi!" Y/n said as his cheeks were turning pink.

"Good morning, Y/n. I'm done with the bathroom so you can get in while I help Zabuza." Haku said calmly. 

"Thank y-you," Y/n said as he rushes to the bathroom before laughing hard.

He stops as he brushes his teeth and fixes his face before heading to his bedroom to change. He got his outfit on as he also got his sword.

He went down to see the kitchen now clean and Zabuza no longer looking like a devil clown. He decided to make them breakfast since the mess.

He started to work in the kitchen as he gets the food making. He hears some footsteps he knows that it's Zabuza and Haku. 

Zabuza's footsteps when he's not in ninja mode are heavy and almost dragging. Haku is light as if he's tiptoeing.

"The food is ready!" Y/n cheered as he set the food down. 

Haku and Zabuza's stomachs grumble when they smell and look at the food. It was better than what they had to eat for some time as they were hardly any time to cook up something without being in a rush.

"Thank you for the food!" They prayed as they started to eat. 

So far things have been settling ever since the mission. Zabuza and Haku explained how the bridge was done and that the people there decided to call it the Naruto Bridge.

Y/n was surprised once he heard how when he was asleep recovering from the... incident... Inari would stay in the room he was in to see if Y/n would wake up.

Y/n felt devastated, and a little heart hurt as he listens to them about how Inari felt when he saw Y/n laying on the ground with an open wound. Inari even was close to having a panic attack saying that he was getting a flashback of his father.

"Just when I was able to find someone that bring hope! Just when I was able to find someone that bring cheer! Why now?! Why him?!"

Y/n can almost feel and see the event happening in his eyes. He made a mental note that someday he plans on going back there to see Inari and the others.

The three of them talk a little as Y/n wanted to see how they were doing in the village. "It's not the worst. I'm only doing it for Haku, and you since I almost brought you to death." Zabuza answered but Y/n knows the truth.

"By the way Y/n, aren't you supposed to go to the bridge?" Haku asks. 

Y/n's eyes widen as he now remembers that. In a second, he vanishes with butterflies trailing him, "I'm late! I'm late! I'm late! I'm late!"

Haku laughed a little as he sees a small note on the table, he grabbed it and read it.

'Don't worry about the dishes! I'll clean then! Just have fun and explore a little in the village if you like!'

Haku signed as Zabuza grunted wanting to know what it is. Haku passed the note to Zabuza as he read. He sighs as he scratches his head.

"The brat is practically spoiling us." Zabuza as he put the dishes away. 

"You have to realize Y/n live here alone for a long time. He's probably not used to having someone live here, so he wants us not to worry." Haku reasons as he also tries to find a solution.

"Still, all we've been doing is just laying around as the only interesting spot is the training ground. Plus, you saw the look that the people gave us." Zabuza mentioned.

When they first entered the village one of the ninjas commented that Zabuza was in their village as many people were afraid and when they notice a boy being bandaged and asleep, many assume that it was them.

They receive some darted glares of hatred as they also hear some whispers.

"Is that Y/n!?"

"What happens to the boy!?"

"It must've been that Naruto's fault."

"It has to be those two! Look at their headband."

"They should just kill them!"

"Disgusting demons!"

Haku sighed as he knows that he wasn't going to be any kind of open arm when they walk into the village. But to them, they don't care. 

It was private to those two that they were only staying because of Y/n. The leaf's butterfly was able to bring some hope to the two mist demons.

"We should get going," Haku said as he gets himself ready. 

Zabuza watches Haku leave as he sighs as joins him.

Y/n POV:

No! No! No! No! I can't be late! 

What if Kakashi's here early and I'm late!? I'll never hear the end of this!

I sprinted hard jumping over some buildings and making a quick greeting as I go to the bridge. If I knew the time, then I would have finished the food early!

I see the bridge close as I slow down and see that Kakashi wasn't there. Just Naruto, Sasuke, and... Sakura.

"Wow, that blabber brat is healed now!"

'Chomei...'

"What! After what she said to Mitsuri she's lucky to have a strong sensei near us!"

Y/n sighs as he makes his way to them. "Moshi Moshi!" Y/n greeted as he sees Naruto and Sasuke looking away from each other and Sakura looking like she was losing herself. 

So pretty much a normal day.

"Oh, hey Y/n! How are you feeling?" Naruto asks. 

"I'm feeling much better! Thanks, Naruto." I smiled as I notice Naruto's face becoming red. "Are you okay? Is the heat bothering you?"

"N-No! I'm fine believe it!" Naruto said backing away. Maybe he woke up wrong and got hurt?

"OH, MY KAMI! I HAVE THE DENSEST HOST!"

"Ohayo! Sorry, I'm late everyone. Afraid I got lost on the path of life." Kakashi appeared as Naruto and Sakura yelled at him.

"Ara Ara~ You lost a date, didn't you?" Y/n ask as Kakashi put his hands in his heart as he came to Y/n. "Is that any way to say to you dear sensei!?"

"Don't worry Kakashi-Sensei! I'm sure the love of your life would come!" Y/n patted Kakashi's cheeks before moving to Sasuke's side.

Kakashi froze from the movement he got over it when he hears Naruto. "I'm ready for the next mission, sensei. No more of this dumb beginner stuff, okay? I want a chance to prove myself. I'm taking a real mission!"

Bonk!

"Now, now Naruto! Save the energy for the mission." I said when I karate chops his head. I move back to Sasuke's side as he now opens his eyes. 

He looks at me as I smile at him, I notice that his face was becoming pink now I'm sorry if he's gonna be okay.

Naruto glared at Sasuke since he believes that he was always stealing the spotlight and making him look like a chump. 'What worse is that Y/n is moving to his side!'

No One POV/Time Skip Jutsu:

'Whelp we have a mission.' Y/n thought. 

The four of them were doing the lady some yard work as they were pulling out the weeds in her backyard. He hears Naruto laughing as he turns and sees a big pile on his side. 

He looks and notices that the flowers were all gone as well. He turns to the pile, then back at the empty field. Turn back to the pile, and then back to the empty field.

'Oh no.' Y/n thought. 

"Hey, you!" He turns to see the lady coming. 

"Oh, hi lady! I got rid of all the weeds for you! Pretty cool for you huh?" Naruto smiled. 

The lady trembled with anger. "Uh, what's the problem?" Naruto asks.

"You did pull out all of the weeds. But you also pull out ALL OF MY PLANTS!" She yelled.

"Huh?" Naruto tilted his head, his mouth wide open. 

"Those were special herbs I've been growing, and you destroyed them!" The lady gritted her teeth.

Y/n tries not to laugh when he sees the lady smacking Naruto around. "U-Uh I m-might h-have some of those at my place that I can bring?" Y/n suggested.

"Now now, no need. Thank you though, it's just THIS BRAT THAT PAYS!" The lady said going back to him.

Next Mission:

Y/n smiled as he was picking up the trash from between the river stones. It did feel good having the cool water splashing at him.

He turns and sees Kakashi leaning on the tree reading a book. He looks at the book and notices something.

The book was orange but there were two men on the cover. It looks cute to him when he sees the two of them dancing around.

'Kawai! That cover looks cute! It looks so similar to the book Iruka-Sensei had! Maybe it has something like those cool couples!'

He hears a loud splash as he turns to see Naruto falling back on the water. He sees Naruto almost falling out as he rushes and grabbed Naruto in the leg Sasuke also grabbed Y/n's leg, hanging on a wire to a tree.

"Are you hurt anywhere Naruto?" Y/n ask. 

"No, I'm fine!" Naruto smiled.

"You are such a loser." Sasuke huffed, shaking his head.

Next Mission:

"Hey! Hey! We're supposed to go the other way!" Naruto grunted, struggling as he pulled the dog's leash. "Hey! I'm talking to you! Darn it!"

"What a loser..." Sasuke sighed.

"Of course, he just had to choose the biggest dog!" Sakura exclaimed swaying her head to the side.

Y/n was with a dog, but he wasn't holding it. Instead, the dog decided to go under his hoodie and popped out.

He turned and saw Kakashi reading the book in his world. He puffs his cheeks getting a little annoyed as he turns to Naruto his eyes widen.

"Naruto don't go there! THAT'S A MINEFIELD!"

However, it was too late. The three ninjas watch with eyes widened as Naruto and the large dog set off the explosions. 

Naruto was now burned to a crisp as Y/n made a whistling noise that grabbed all of the dog's attention and move toward him.

The dogs notice the one Y/n had being under his hoodie as they growl at the dog. The big dog decided to push Y/n to the ground as he crawl under.

"W-Wait! Your too big!" Y/n blushes as he was tapping on the dog's head.

Time Skip Jutsu:

"You need to be more careful Naruto," Y/n said gently to the Uzumaki as he has him over his shoulder and Sasuke helping out.

"Ha! You are just one big problem." Sasuke grinned as Y/n looked deadpanned at him.

Naruto growled in anger, "Sasuke!" He seethed, clenching his fists.

Sakura stood in front of him, her eyes blazing. "If you keep this up, I'll finish you off myself!" She threatened, raising a fist over her head.

Kakashi sighed. "I guess we're not making a lot of progress on teamwork aren't we?"

"Oh? By the way Kakashi?" Y/n asks turning to him. "Do you mind telling us what book you were reading?"

The three other ninjas turn to Kakashi as they wanted to know as well. "Eh-I um-"

"That right! Our teamwork always messed up and it's because of you, Sasuke!" Naruto accused. "You think that you're better than everyone else huh?!"

Sasuke shook his head, "Not everyone. Just you." He smirked, "Face it Naruto, I'm better and stronger than you. Including Y/n, he's like me strong. You've seen first handed how he is in battle. He's better than you, that's a fact unless." He turns to see a pissed-off Naruto, "You have what it takes to prove me wrong."

"Ara Ara~"

All of them stop from the voice as they turn to see Y/n as he has a smile on his face. Kakashi shivered from the smile. 

It wasn't any ordinary smile. 

It was Shinobu's smile.

"You both need to knock it off. I know that the mission affects you two but let me say this. Knock. It. Off. You both are the reason why the team hasn't been able to make any kind of progress." Y/n move to his sword as he tapped it. "There is this special technique that I learn. If you guys want to get a little physical~? Then step right up~"

The team was shocked. No one had ever made Y/n act like this as Kakashi's eyes widen.

There was a similar time to this as Shinobu brought out the same kind of threat. No one likes it when he's angry considering who his family is.

Sasuke turned away. 'I don't have time to waste on Naruto or these lame missions. There's still a ninja out there who can outfight me. I have to get stronger, otherwise, I'm gonna rely on Y/n when it should be me! I'm not letting him get injured. Not again.'

The sound of a screeching noise came as Y/n look up to see a bird. It was a hawk circling as Y/n knew what it meant, 'It's time already?'

Kakashi must've noticed as he put the book away. "Let's just call it a day. You can beat each other to pulp some other time. I have to file a report from the mission."

"Whatever I'm out of here." Sasuke turned to walk away. 

"Wait!" Sakura called running to him, "Sasuke I'll go with you!"

"Ah...Ahh..." Naruto made out as he put his head down. 

Y/n sigh as patted Naruto. "We can hang out if you want?" Y/n suggested. 

Naruto looks up and smiles, "Yeah sure! Let's do it!"

Sasuke must've heard them when he stops but he moves to Sakura. "So why don't we-I mean, you know, let's do something more personal!" Sakura blushed as she looks at Sasuke, "I mean to improve our teamwork and all!"

"I swear you're just as bad as Naruto." Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Instead of following me around, why don't you practice your jutsu and make the team stronger? Let's face it, you're worse than Naruto."

Sasuke walked away as Sakura slumped down, a shadow growing over her. "Don't worry Sakura! Just forget about Sasuke, alright? How about the two of us get to hang out," Naruto suggested.

Sakura shacked her head as she was disappointed in the rejection.

"Oh! Just imagine that! You might be able to prove yourself. Wouldn't that be a blast?" Y/n said smiling at her. Smoke came as Kakashi was no longer there.

'Huh? Kakashi-Sensei disappeared. Maybe he's giving me and Y/n some alone time' Naruto thought with a grin.

Y/n hears some ruffling noise as he sees a box that was painted nicely. Replicating the ground. 

"Um, Naruto?" Y/n tapped on his shoulder and pointed at the box.

"That's the worst disguise of all time!" Naruto said. "There's no such thing as square rocks! It's completely obvious!"

"You saw through my camouflage again? You're slick, boss! Just what I'd respect from my greatest rival!" A child's voice responded loudly from inside.

Y/n tilted his head as three kids came jumping out of the box.

"I'm Moegi! The sassiest kunoichi in preschool checks me out!" A little girl with two gravity-defying pigtails said with a smile.

"I love algebra! Call me Udon!" The boy with glasses sniffled. Y/n stomach growled as he was thinking about food that sounded similar to his name.

"And I'm the Number One Ninja in the village, Konohamaru!" The boy with a blue scarf that looked too long for him shouted. "And together we're..."

"The Konohamaru Ninja Squad!" The three of them said at the same time.

"Yeah, I know that it was you." Naruto looks down and notices something on their head. "What are those? The goggles that you're wearing."

Konohamaru laughed. "Ha, you used to wear goggles too, remember?" He grinned, adjusting them on his head.

"Oh, that's right? You have them on for some time huh?" Y/n said. Looking over at Naruto, he was embarrassed.

Naruto just simply nodded.

"Hey! C'mon, boss! Why are you being like that? You ought to be more excited!" Konohamaru shouted at him. He turned to his friends. "He's just trying to be cool."

"You know what we want! Aren't you busy now?" Moegi ask. 

"Hmmm...I have to train, believe it!" Naruto grinned. 

"What?! But you promised that you would play ninja with us!" Konohamaru complained.

Y/n giggled and turn to Naruto, "Ara Ara~, a ninja playing ninja?" Y/n said looking at Naruto.

Naruto started to mentally panic, 'He's staring at me! Okay, Naruto hold yourself together! Don't blush!'

Moegi looks at Y/n as she squeals, "Oh my gosh I know you!"

Everyone turned to her as she pointed at Y/n. "Your that boy from that festival that won that eating contest and from the dances!"

Udon and Konohamaru look at Y/n as their eyes widen. "You're right! I remember gramps mentioning that there was a boy with that type of hair that danced like a butterfly."

Konohamaru turn to Naruto as he lit up. "You're a smooth operator boss."

"Uh..." Naruto's face turns as red as a tomato.

"Come on, I know that he's your...boyfriend!" Konohamaru giggled.

"Eh?!" Y/n's face turns pink as he put his hands on his face. 'How can someone as innocent as a child be like this?!'

"Well, you can tell that he's pretty crazy about me huh?" Naruto grinned looking at the fluster Y/n, "N-N-Naruto wh-what are you s-saying?!"

"KISS! KISS! KISS!" The three kids chanted.

Y/n was now as red as a tomato as he put his hands down and use hands to cover his face.

"Um...Y/n?"

He looks up as he felt something on his cheek, he felt like he was going to explode. Naruto just kissed Y/n on the cheek, and he didn't think as he kiss Naruto back on the cheek. 

Once he realizes what he did he shakes his head crazy as he didn't notice that Naruto and the three kids are gone.

"Y/n, are you okay?" Y/n jumped when he looks up to see Haku looking at him with concern.

"H-Haku!" Y/n said as he felt so embarrassed. "U-Um, d-do y-you know a-anyone that m-might have feelings for me?"

Haku was caught off as he randomly started to cough as his face was becoming pink. "Um, what made you ask something like that?"

"U-Um well, there's been a time that my heart feels different to some people, but I don't know what it is. Also, um it's like whenever I talk to people, they act off. Did I do something that made them feel weird?" Y/n explained.

Haku was about to answer when suddenly they felt something off. Y/n also felt it as if there were three people.

They hear Naruto yelling as the two look at each other and nod.

They headed where the sound is coming from as Y/n can see it. He sees two boys as their headbands look like they're from the sand village.

One of them has blond hair as it's in ponytails. The other guy has some face paint on them. What he can tell was that they were carrying rather large objects.

He also spotted someone, in the tree Sasuke. Y/n was surprised as he thought that he left to somewhere else.

He notices that the paint gave a guy who was about to do something as he smiled.

"Ara Ara~"

Scene Change Jutsu:

"Whoa! You're using Crow for this?" The blonde guy said in disbelief. 

The painted face guy was about to answer when suddenly...

"Ara Ara~"

They suddenly hear a jingle as someone was behind the painted face guy. "So this is a Crow? I wonder what it is?" 

Everyone was frozen from the sudden appearance. The guy froze as he slowed to see Y/n smiling at him, "That cloud looks like a cat don't you think?"

The painted face guy backed away as he was going to attack when Y/n was gone. He sees a butterfly as he turns to see Y/n standing on top of the side of the fence, "Moshi Moshi!"

Y/n's eyes were closed as he couldn't see the painted face guy and the blonde guy blushed when they get a look at Y/n. The little girl squealed as she shouted how Y/n was so cool.

"Hey, how come you're not cool like him either! You're supposed to be the top boss!" Konohamaru said pointing.

Naruto was sweating nervously as he was breaking. "W-What do mean by that?! I was caught off that's all!"

They hear a giggle as they see Y/n, looking at a branch, "Ohayo! Are you their team member?"

"Kankuro. Back off." A cold voice came as it caught Sasuke and Haku off guard.

The voice came from the red-haired boy with a huge object on his back. He was hanging upside down on the tree.

'Something is off about him? Why does he feel like Naruto a bit?' Y/n thought as he notices the boy made a small look at him before turning to the two ninjas.

"Oh... uh... h-hey there, Gaara!" Kankuro stuttered.

"You're embarrassing our village," Gaara said coldly. "Have you forgotten the reason we came here?"

"I-I know... however, they challenged us! T-They started the whole thing, what happened was-"

"Shut up." Gaara snapped as he turns his gaze to Y/n before looking back. "Or I'll kill you."

Y/n's eyes widen a bit and Kankuro gulped. "Ah, r-right! I was totally out of the line! I'm s-sorry Gaara."

Gaara turned his body as he looks at Y/n. "I apologize for any of the trouble that he has made." He said calmly as if he didn't threaten his team member.

Sasuke glared at him. 'This guy has an evil look in his eyes.'

Garra was starring at Sasuke. 'He stops Kankuro with a pebble. Made it look easy, this guy is something to keep an eye on.'

He then shifted back to his original stare Y/n. 'And this boy, the way how he came. I could hardly sense his presence and so were the others. He made Kankuro back away without doing anything and why does it feel weird when I look at him.'

"Let's go." He ordered the two sand ninjas. "We didn't come here to play games."

"Alright... I get it." They walk away but Sakura stop them, "Hold on!"

They stopped walking. "What?" The boy asks rudely.

"I can tell from your headband that you are from Sunagakure. While Kaze no Kuni and Hi no Kuni may be allies, no shinobi can enter another village without permission. So state your purpose! And it better be good!" Sakura said about to pull her kunai.

Y/n was putting his hand in his mouth to not laugh but it went noticed by them. "What's so funny?" Haku asks getting off the tree he and Sasuke were standing on.

"T-That w-was so cool! B-But y-you does k-know that they ha-have permission since the Chunin exam is coming." Y/n was managed to say.

The blonde sand ninja chuckled, "Well seems that one of them isn't just looking but also smart. By the way Cupid there is correct. We're here for the Chunin exam get the picture." He pulls out his I.D.

"The Chunin exams? What's that? I've never heard of any Chunin exams believe it!"

Naruto said being confused.

"The Chunin exams is an event when genins are out in a series of tests," Haku informed them. "Once you pass the exam then you'll get to become Chunin that's why it's called the Chunin exam." Y/n joined.

Sasuke jumped and landed between Haku and Y/n as the three sand ninjas began to walk away. "Hey, you! Identify yourself."

The boy turned as he raise his eyebrow. "Who? Are you talking about me?"

Sasuke shook his head. "No. Him. The one with the gourd on his back."

"My name is Gaara, of the desert. I am curious about you and the boy next to you as well. Who are you?" Gaara asks.

"I am Uchiha Sasuke," Sasuke answered. They waited for Y/n to answer but it never came as he was looking at Gaara.

"Hey didn't you hear what Gaara-"

"You look kind of like a panda," Y/n said pointing at Gaara as he smiled.

"W-WHAT?!" The two ninjas said caught off guard.

"Yeah! The way how he looks, it's almost like those cute pandas that you see in books. Oh, and that face paint looks so cool! I wanted to try but I look like a clown. Also, did you do your hair like that? It looks amazing!" Y/n said as he pointed at them.

The two sand ninjas couldn't understand what the boy was doing. The painted face Kankuro was blushing from the compliment as he scratched the back of his head. As the blonde guy's face was pink.

"Um Y/n, you haven't answered the question," Haku said snapping Y/n out.

"S-Sorry! I forgot!" His face was pink from embarrassment. "My name is Kanroji Kocho Y/n!"

"Y/n..." Gaara muttered slowly, turning away.

"Hey Konohamaru, do I seem uncool, or something?" Naruto asks. 

"We'll compare to Sasuke and Y/n, yeah your pretty lame." He responds cheerfully.

"Gah! You not gonna show me up Sasuke!"

"Hn. Back off, loser."

Unknow to them three unknown ninjas were standing watching them. They both have similar outfits as there from the land of sound.

"What do you think, Dosu?" One of the guys asks.

"The usual weaklings, nothing special. But the Uchiha, that Kanroji, and the desert rat. We should be careful." The middle guy said.

"The Kanroji? Do you mean that pink hair boy? I admit that he's fast. But he looks so innocent, how can he be a problem?" The girl asks.

"True, he does look innocent as his smiles do send warmth but. You realize that he also said Kocho." The guy said as the two eye ninja's eyes widen.

"Just like the last name of the person he wanted."
