No One POV:

"It's your destiny to lose to me."

The match was on as Naruto and Neji was still fighting. Naruto was silent as everyone else was, hearing Neji's background. Knowing that he is what he is today, because of how the Hyuga clan has been treating their relatives.

Neji's father was kill because of how the cloud ninjas wanted the person responsible to the death to be killed. But because of how Neji's father was a twin brother to Hinata's father as well as being tied to the curse mark, he had no other obligation but to be the one that will face death.

"Oh yeah?" Naruto challenge. "Well, we won't know that until you beat me, will we?" Naruto question as he was panting. Naruto got hit with Neji's move, the Eight Trigram Sixty-Four Palm. A technique where the user hits all of their opponents chakra points, no longer given them the ability to use any technique that requires the use of chakra. 

Neji frown by what Naruto said. "Okay. So your father was killed a long time ago, and I know it wasn't fair and maybe you're upset about that, I understand. But that's got nothing to do with destiny." Naruto stated. "If you think I'm buying that, you're wrong."

"You will never understand." Neji countered. He activated his Byakugan as he goes to attack Naruto. He landed his gentle fist at Naruto, hitting him in the stomach. "Ah!" Naruto was push back by that force.

"Proctor. It's over." Neji deactivate his Byakugan. "Hm. You're a failure." Neji stated.

"Wait, don't walk away from me."

Neji turn as he sees Naruto shakenly getting up. "I'm not done yet. I don't quit, and I don't go back on my word. That's my nindo, my ninja way." It was that last sentence, the sentence that Hinata stated during his match against Neji.

Hinata whimper as he tries to get up. "I never go back...on my word." Hinata stated as he slowly get up.

"Because that too is my nindo, my ninja way."

"Ha." Neji smirk as he know remembers. "I've heard those words before." He replied. "All this destiny crap." Naruto said as he glares at Neji. "Well, if you really believe it, why are you the one walking away?" Naruto challenge.

Sakura and Ino was watching as they were shock. Seeing Naruto getting hit, from Neji's life story, now to Naruto constantly getting back from the blows that he gets hit with. 'Naruto.' Sakura thought.

Hiashi and Hanabi was watching the match. Neither of them was showing any emotion as they were just watching match. However the thoughts were different, constantly having an argument with one another. The thought of the branch family being more powerful then the main branch. From seeing the display that Neji could've been a true prodigy if he was a member of the main household.

"You impudent little brat! Why waste my breath explaining it to you?" Neji question. His Byakugan was on as he was glaring hard at Naruto. "We are all given a destiny at birth, and it's pointless to fight against it."

Flash Back Jutsu:

It was at the Hyuga estate as little Neji and his father Hizashi are together. Both of them are in their training attire as Neji had bandages wrapped around his forehead, blocking the curse mark from the people's eyes.

Hizashi put his hand on Neji's head as he flinch a little, looking upset. "Neji, my son, the Hyuga bloodline trait flows stronger in you than in any other member of our clan." Hizashi said to his son as he smiled at him. "I should've been born a few moments earlier and made you part of the main household."

Present Time Jutsu:

Neji was breathing hard as he continue his hard cold glare. "You don't know what it's like to be branded with a mark that sets you apart, a mark that can never be wiped away." Neji accused as he pointed at Naruto.

Naruto was panting as his head was down. He was breathing hard as a vein was being shown on Naruto's head. A large shadow fox, who has nine tails snarling as at the end of the shadow lies a crying small Naruto.

A small crying child as everyone was behind him, all eyes showing no remorse, no sympathy. Yet at the end it show a fox with eyes that show signs of demon. Sharp teeth as it growl.

"You're so wrong." Naruto clench his fist. "I know what that's like. And let me tell you something." Neji was taken back by Naruto's tone. It was as if he being upset but not the way how it show a loyal or a friendly upset.

"Big...deal. Who cares?"

"You worthless little..." Neji stop as he caught Naruto's glare.

"You think you've got troubles? I've got new for you Neji, you're not the only special one around here." Naruto stated. "Did it ever came to your mind that Hinata might be suffering as much as you are? Did it ever came to you that it's not his fault that his father was born ahead of yours, but you resent him for it."

"You disrespect him even when he's trying so hard improve himself. All he wanted was your respect. That's what he was fighting for even though it almost killed him. And what was that all about, anyway? I thought it was your destiny to serve the main household, not to beat it to a bloody pulp."

"After all you said about how you can't fight your destiny, you don't really believe in it either do you?" Naruto challenge.

"It doesn't matter if you keep on trying. I blocked all 64 of your chakra points. How are you planning to keep fighting when you can't use your chakra against me?" Neji countered. "It's fitting that you sympathize with Hinata because you're about to share his fate."

"Oh, really? You think that Byakugan of yours sees everything." Naruto then stated. "You know everyone's weakness, right?" Naruto question.

"That's right." Neji smirk as he activated his Byakugan. "But if you think you're the one who can prove me wrong well, be my guest."

"I'm gonna show you you're wring about a lot of things, starting right now." Naruto said, but his mind was telling a different story, 'Easier said than done. It doesn't feel like I have any chakra at all. I haven't felt so totally drained since that time in training with the Pervy Sage.'

It was what Naruto said to his thought that triggered something to his head. It was moment of what Jiraiya said to Naruto.

"Haven't you ever felt the presence of a different chakra? You have two types of chakra, but you must use up all of one before you can assess the other and, thus, increase the total amount of chakra you can use."

'That's it! I can use the Nine-Tailed Fox's chakra.' Naruto closes his eyes as he concentrate. Neji was caught off by what Naruto was doing as he never seen it before. 'Okay, you stinking fox,' a fox growling was out in Naruto's mind. 'If you're there, give me your strength!'

"Proctor, this has gone on long enough. I suggest you stop the match." Neji said to Genma. "If he's foolish enough to continue to fight, I will not be responsible for what happens to him."

Genma look at Neji as if he grown two heads. "Fine." Genma said as he was starting to have it with Neji's attitude.

Naruto scoffs as he put his hands together. Neji such smirk from what Naruto was doing. "It's pointless, I told you." Neji reminded but Naruto ignore him as he was yelling.

'I vow to win!'

"Why bother? You have no chakra to use." Neji said. Naruto keeps on yelling.

'Oh, yeah, don't forget to come watch me wipe off the floor with Neji in the final competition.' 

Naruto was breathing hard as his head was low.

'A loser beating the gifted genius through sheer willpower. Now, would not that make for an exciting match? Of course, if you ended up fighting him, that is fine too.'

Neji shakes his head as Naruto was grunting. "Why fight a hopeless battle trying to defy your destiny?" Neji question.

"'Cause people called me a failure. I'll prove 'em wrong."

Naruto was growling as he was then yelling. Suddenly the wind was getting rough as orange streaks was suddenly appearing. Neji suddenly activated his Byakugan as he couldn't believe what he's seeing. 'What? It can't be. Where is that chakra coming from?'

From Naruto's body, it was as if an orange chakra was in him. Flowing through his body as it courses through his veins and chakra network.

'It's--It's not possible!' Neji yelled as he was seeing everything. His chakra was forming as Neji caught the sight of a beast. Naruto was yelling as his now new chakra was forming.

'What--What is he?!' Neji yelled. 'Impossible. That chakra.' Hiashi know what it was as he couldn't understand how it's possible. "This can't be happening. No way!" Tenten said. "But how? All of his chakra points were blocked."

The Kazekage was taken back as his eyes was widen. Everyone of the contestants in the waiting area was taken back by what they were seeing. Even Gaara's eyes was widen as his pupils was shaken.

'No question.' Lord Third said as he know what it was. 'It's the chakra of the Nine-Tailed Fox. But when did this boy learn how to harness it's strength?' He question as he furrow his brow.

Naruto was yelling as orange chakra was out in the open. The wind was blowing hard as Neji and to block himself. 'Here it goes.' Naruto said as Neji was still trying to blocks himself from the wind.

'Incredible! Twisting energy.' Neji thought. 'What kind of chakra is that? Or is it even chakra at all?'

The orange flare of chakra was now circling as it was covering Naruto. 'Amazing! This is even more power than I felt before. I like it!' 

Naruto glare at Neji who was growling. Naruto suddenly vanish as Neji was looking for him. He pause before he turn around to see Naruto behind him. Naruto threw his shuriken as Neji counter it with his rotation.

He catches the shuriken as he grab his shuriken as well. Naruto was in the air as he landed on the wall before pushing off, charging towards Neji.

"Take this." Neji throw his shuriken but Naruto rushed away even though he was still in the air. "What?" Neji said. 'He's faster than before. What's going on here?'

Neji quickly turn as he barely dodge a sudden punch as it was from Naruto. Neji brought out his kunai as Naruto does the same thing. Both of them yell as they threw their kunai. Both weapons bounce off of each other as they charge at one another.

They grab their kunai as they try to attack each other. "So I hear you like close combat, huh?" Naruto ask. Neji's eyes slightly widen as Naruto charge at Neji.

"It may be the Hyuga way to cave in to destiny. It's not mine!" Neji's eyes widen from what Naruto's saying. "If you think it's futile to fight, then don't. Just stand there and take it!"

'Quickly! Must use my rotation.' Neji counter in thought. "I'll change the way of the Hyuga clan..." Neji rotate as both kunai clash one another. "After I become Hokage."

A small explosion came as all the watchers was shock by what they're seeing. Some was nervous as some was just shock. A cloud of smoke by dust was around the area as none of them could see a thing.

The cloud was fading away as it only show two noticeable holes. However there was still some heavy dusts as neither of them could know who's where.

'Man, that's some chakra that kid's got. Never seen anything like it.' Genma thought as he look at the two holes. 'No way that Hyuga kid could have...'

"But which one's Naruto?" Sakura ask as she was looking at the two holes. "Don't ask me. I don't even know what happened just now." Ino countered as he was also looking.

A hand reach out as it made everyone anxious. Sakura, Tenten, Shikamaru, and everyone else is staring as of finding the person who's conscious. It soon come out as it was Neji.

Sakura and Ino's eyes widen as Sakura cover her mouth. "Hm." Gaara said softly. Shikamaru gasps as he quickly look at the other hole. Tenten sighs as she was relief. 

Neji was panting as he was walking, but rather stumble towards the other hole. The other hole where it show a blonde male with an orange outfit on, it was Naruto.

...Naruto's unconscious...

"No..." Sakura whisper. 'Naruto was close, but if he had to find a way to stop Neji's rotation then he would've been able to beat him. But still he was the closest.' Tenten thought.

"Sorry, but this is reality. You're a failure." Neji told the unconscious Naruto. "This match is over."

Suddenly the ground was rumbling as it made Neji gasps. It was like as if time went slow as an arm was out of the ground. It punched Neji as it was Naruto, who was coming out of the ground screaming.

Naruto was panting as blood was dripping. Right underneath his fingernails was the blood dripping out of it. Neji was laying on the ground. "I can't move." He said painfully.

The unconscious Naruto disappeared as it was a clone. A deep hole was underneath it as it came to everyone what just happen.

'He used his clone as bait and waited for his chance to get Neji. Even when he was getting pounded into the ground, he never stopped planning his next move. He never lost his faith in his ability to win. Naruto knows instinctively that believing in yourself can give you the power to change your destiny. And on top of that, he's got one hell of a left hook.'

Genma smile as he came to conclusion as of what he witness. Naruto walked where Neji was laying down as he was panting. "I should've guessed you'd use that shadow clone jutsu. It's your specialty after all. I was careless." Neji said as he still couldn't move.

"For the record, I failed the graduation exam three times..." Naruto explain as Neji frown a little. "'cause there was this one jutsu that was always on the exam. And it tripped me up every time. It was the one jutsu that I just couldn't master."

Neji's eyes widen as he realize what Naruto was going to say. "My clones were pathetic. That's right. I flunked the shadow clone jutsu every time."

"So don't come whining to me with this destiny stuff. And stop trying to tell me you can't change what you are."

A bird was flying as Neji watch it. Hiashi was looking as even though his ace was neutral, there was still something in it. Something...different.

"You can do it too. 'Cause, after all, unlike me, you're not a failure." Naruto said as Neji was shock. He watches the bird as it was flying in the air, flying as if it was free.

"The winner is Naruto Uzumaki."
